TOY FIGURE MANUFACTURING
An inkjet printing system includes: a production apparatus configured to receive an original body template and to produce a three-dimensional body based on the original body template; a metrology apparatus configured to receive the produced three-dimensional body from the production apparatus and to topographically scan the received three-dimensional body to thereby produce an updated body template of the three-dimensional body; a control apparatus in communication with the metrology apparatus; and an inkjet printing apparatus. The control apparatus is configured to receive the updated body template and to create a topographical printing design based on the updated body template. The inkjet printing apparatus is in communication with the control apparatus, and is configured to receive the three-dimensional body and apply the created topographical printing design to the three-dimensional body.
Printing device and printing method
A printing device including: a print head that performs printing on a printing target; a mount on which the printing target is placed; and a lift that positions a nail of a finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, and positions a printing medium other than the nail of the finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, wherein the mount includes a nail mount on which the finger or the nail is placed when the printing target is the nail of the finger and a medium mount on which the printing medium is placed when the printing target is the printing medium, and at least one of the nail mount and the medium mount is able to be attached and detached selectively according to the printing target.
PRINTER
Provided is a printer capable of efficiently printing an image on a cylindrical recording medium with simple control.
A plurality of printing start positions are set on an outer circumferential surface of a recording medium. A processor performs transport control of the recording medium for a transport unit and printing control of the recording medium for a printing unit provided in each station. In the transport control, control for the transport unit is performed such that the recording medium is rotated at a constant speed, movement of the recording medium is stopped each time the recording medium arrives at the station, and the movement of the recording medium is restarted after printing at the station is completed. In the printing control, control for the printing unit of each station is performed such that image printing is started from the printing start position that first reaches the printing position.
Printing device and information processing device
Provided is a printing device that can accurately perform printing on a recording medium. The printing device includes: a frame member disposed to surround a nail tip; a printing unit configured to perform printing on the nail tip surrounded by the frame member; a communication part configured to acquire print information which is generated based on an image obtained by capturing the frame member and the nail tip and indicates a layout of printing to be applied to the nail tip in a printable region defined by the frame member; and a print control part configured to control the printing unit based on the acquired print information.
Tiltable mounting device, printing system and method for printing on cylindrical objects
A tiltable mounting device is for mounting cylindrical objects with a top surface and a lateral surface, and for tilting the objects relative to a reference plane. The device has a frame, and one or more mandrels, each configured to mount a cylindrical object. Each mandrel is rotatable about a longitudinal axis, and is tiltable in the frame between first and second positions. The longitudinal axis of each mandrel in the first position is oriented perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the respective mandrel in the second position. In the first position, each mandrel is oriented with the top surface of the object in the reference plane, and in the second position, each mandrel is oriented such that the lateral surface of the cylindrical object is tangent to the reference plane.
Bicycle rim printing apparatus and printing method of printing non-contact printed deposit on annular rim body
A bicycle rim printing apparatus comprises a non-contact printer to print a non-contact printed deposit to an annular rim body, a rim holder to hold the annular rim body, and a rotational actuator to rotate the rim holder relative to the non-contact printer about a rotational axis.
Platen for direct digital printing onto a shoe
An apparatus for stretching a surface of a pair of shoes for digitally printing onto the surface by an external device, the apparatus comprising: a main plate configured to receive the pair of shoes, the main plate comprising a front end, a rear end opposite the front end, and a medial portion extending between the front and the rear ends, the medial portion being laterally offset from an outer edge of each of the front and the rear ends, a pair of curved grooves disposed at the rear end and being adapted to receive an interior of the heel of each shoe of the pair of shoes; a pair of side arms each being adapted to traverse longitudinally along an edge of the medial portion, and having a V-shaped groove; and a pair of motors each configured to independently cause a longitudinal movement of the pair of side arms.
Reconfigurable Single Media Printer Having a Positionable Media Support Carriage
A system is disclosed to provide a DTS machine that is simple to operate and can through human operator control provide economic and competitive throughput speeds as compared to more complex DTS machines utilizing multiple printing tunnels and material handlers. The present invention utilizes a repositionable print carriage and a re-configurable inkjet printhead bank. The printing carriage is vertically positionable and tiltable, and includes a resizable spindle so that varying geometries of print media may be accommodated. The printer prints a single piece of media at each printing event, but maintains a printing throughput similar to DTS machines having the capability to print media in parallel printing events. Media is moved from a media loading area on the machine by a single operator into a printing tunnel and then the operator adjusts the angle of the media relative to a reconfigurable array of ink-heads to meet inkjet expression distance requirements.
Printing device for curved surfaces and method thereof
A device and method for printing on cylindrical curved surfaces. In the preferred embodiment, the device is an inkjet printer including a printing rack that holds a plurality of cylindrical objects like test tubes or pipes, a printing unit including a UV light source and a removable ink cartridge. The ink cartridge includes a plurality of ink nozzles and ink reservoir. In the preferred embodiment, the printing rack moves the printing objects relative to the printing unit. The printing unit preheats the printing objects prior through the use of the UV light source, and after printing the UV light source is used to cure the ink on the surface to produce a high quality print result.
