BALER WITH SEGMENTED TENSION PANELS
A baler includes a frame and a bale chamber structure that is supported by the frame. The bale chamber structure includes a plurality of walls that cooperate to define a baling chamber that extends along a longitudinal axis. The plurality of walls shape different sides of the bale. At least one of the plurality of walls includes a first segment panel that is moveably attached to the frame and a second segment panel that is arranged in a downstream direction from the first segment panel with respect to the longitudinal axis. The second segment panel is moveably attached to the frame independent of the first segment panel.

Bale measurement system and method for a rectangular baler
A bale measuring method for a rectangular baler having a bale chamber in which bales are formed. The bale measuring method includes steps of measuring a movement of crop material downstream of the bale chamber as the crop material moves backward in the baler, using the measured movement of the crop material downstream of the bale chamber to calibrate a measurement and calculation tool for measuring a movement of crop material in the bale chamber and for calculating a length of a bale being formed in the bale chamber based on the measurement, and determining the length of the bale being formed in the bale chamber using the calibrated measurement and calculation tool as the bale moves backward in the baler.
CONTINUOUS ROUND BALER AND IMPROVED METHOD OF ROUND BALE FORMATION
The invention provides an improved method of continuously forming round bales of forage material, and particularly round bales with compressed side walls, from windrowed harvested lines of forage and continuous baling apparatus including a continuous pickup, a continuous rotary chopper, an accumulation chamber with a compressed and chopped forage material entry slot and a decompressing exit slot plus a standard form intermittent round baler.
Baler and method of baling
A baler including a baling chamber that includes a bale-forming channel including an inlet end and an outlet end, a plunger mounted within the channel for compressing bale material in the channel and driving the compressed bale material towards the outlet end of the channel, and a rotary drive mechanism for driving reciprocating movement of the plunger, and an additional drive mechanism for driving the compressed bale material towards the outlet end of the channel, thereby reducing torque in the rotary drive mechanism.
Baler with mass flow sensing assembly and method of initiating stuffer trip
A baler having a compression system for forming a bale. The baler also has a feed system having a pack mode for accumulating the crop in a pre-compression chamber and a lift mode for conveying the crop to the compression system. The baler also has a sensor arrangement having at least one sensor generating a signal, the at least one sensor being coupled to the feed system. The signal corresponds to a crop load on the feed system. A control unit is configured to receive the signal from the sensor arrangement and initiate the lift mode based on at least the signal.
