Twine Shifter Assembly for Hay Baler
Twine shifters that enable the mechanical knotter of a hay baler to tie either two twines into a 2-twine knot or tie four twines into a 4-twine knot. For a 2-twine knot the twine shifters each move their respective upper and lower twines out of the needle's path where the twines are gathered to be tied in a knot. So when the needle swings through its path it only picks up two strands, and misses the two strands moved out of its path. To tie a 4-twine knot the upper and lower twine shifters each move their respective upper and lower twines back into the needle's path. This allows the needle to gather up all four twine strands to tie in a 4-twine knot.
Baler with Needle Overload Protection
A baler including a needle yoke driven via a needle coupling device including a connection member pivotally mounted around a fixed pivot axis for swinging around the fixed pivot axis. The swinging corresponds to movement of the needle yoke. The connection member is cooperative with the needle yoke by (i) a shearbolt adapted to transfer a force from the connection member to the needle yoke during a forward movement and (ii) by a protrusion, formed at one of the connection member and the needle yoke, to abut against the other one of the connection member and the needle yoke during a backward movement of the needle yoke.

MULTI-MATERIAL NEEDLE FOR SQUARE BALERS
One embodiment of the present disclosure is a multi-material needle assembly for a baler that has a core formed from a first material and a first side formed of a second material and coupled to the core. The first side is positioned at least partially along a wear zone of the core.
Individual needle protection system
A binding system for an agricultural harvesting machine may include a binding mechanism securing binding material around a crop package and a delivery device coupled to the binding system and including an overload relief component. The delivery device wraps binding material around a portion of the crop package and provides binding material to the binding mechanism. The overload relief component releases the delivery device from the binding system upon encountering a predetermined overload condition.

Arrangement of Twine Tensioners for an Agricultural Baler
An agricultural baler including a chassis, an axle system, a main bale chamber carried by the chassis, and a tying assembly configured for tying a twine around a bale within the main bale chamber. The tying assembly includes a plurality of knotters supported by the chassis, a needle yoke having a plurality of needles coupled thereto, an upper tensioner device, and a lower tensioner device located underneath the upper tensioner device. The axle system includes a first axle, and the lower tensioner device is attached to the first axle and correspondingly moves with the first axle.

BALER
A baler including a twine box having a frame and a twine cradle. The twine cradle is for holding one or more spools of twine and is mounted to the frame. The twine cradle is movable between a loading position and an operational position, by way of an intermediate position. In the loading position, a spool of twine can be loaded into the twine cradle. In the operational position, twine is removable from the spool of twine within the twine cradle in order to tie a bale. The twine cradle is movable between the loading position and the intermediate position by a rotational movement about a pivot that defines a horizontal axis of rotation. The twine cradle is movable between the intermediate position and the operational position by a translational movement.
