Grain bin unload trough conveyor auger hanger assembly and method

A grain bin unload conveyor trough can have a wall profile including a lowermost curved wall portion. Lower portions of a pair of side walls can be spaced laterally from each other at a first interior lateral width, and upper portions of the side walls can be spaced laterally from each other at a second interior lateral width that is greater than the first interior lateral width. A shelf portion of each side wall can extend laterally outwardly from the lower to the upper portion of the side walls. An auger hanger can extend laterally across the conveyor trough and can be supported on the shelf portions of the side walls. The auger hanger can extend down to hold an auger shaft of a grain bin unload conveyor auger in the conveyor trough centrally within the first interior lateral width between the lower portions of the side walls.

Autonomous vehicle, in particular feed mixing vehicle, and method for controlling an autonomous vehicle

A method for autonomously controlling a feed mixing vehicle, a vehicle having an autonomous controller, a computer program for carrying out the method, and a control device. The vehicle has a chassis, working elements for carrying out partial tasks, scanners/sensors for transmitting data, and a computer for controlling all the processes. The scanners/sensors acquire spatial data of the surroundings and generate therefrom a 3D map of the current geometry of the surroundings. The current geometry of the surroundings is placed in relationship with an area that is released to be traveled on by the autonomous vehicle, with the result that the navigability of the travel path of the autonomous vehicle is checked, and in the case of detected non-navigability the travel path is adapted autonomously to the requirements of the situational spatial surroundings and is replaced by an alternative travel path.

The control system includes at least one processor circuit that is configured to operate the shared VFD in both a first mode, wherein operating in the first mode results in operating a fan assembly of the grain bin, and a second mode, wherein operating in the second mode results in operating an unload sweep assembly within the grain bin.

GRAIN BIN UNLOAD TROUGH CONVEYOR AUGER HANGER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD

A method of positioning a grain bin unload conveyor auger within a grain bin unload conveyor trough includes positioning an auger hanger on a pair of hanger support shelves at an open exterior end of the grain bin unload conveyor trough to support the grain bin unload conveyor auger away from adjacent interior surfaces of the grain bin unload conveyor trough, and pushing the grain bin unload conveyor auger through the open exterior end of the grain bin unload conveyor trough to cause the auger hanger to continuously support the grain bin unload conveyor auger away from the interior surfaces of the grain bin unload conveyor trough as the auger hanger moves longitudinally along the pair of hanger support shelves from the open exterior end to a final operational position of the auger hanger between the open exterior end and an interior end of the grain bin unload conveyor trough.

A mechanical discharger (a) combined with an extractor device (b) of the bulk product (c) stored in a silo bag (d), of the type comprising a winding tube (10) driven by rotation and which is mounted on support arms (11) hinged to a wheeled (2) frame (1) and wherein the product extractor device (b) is a continuous conveyor structure having a lower loading part (5) substantially horizontally and transversely positioned within the bag-silo (d). From the discharge end, the silo-bag wall (d) is cut with two lateral longitudinal cuts, being the wall divided into an upper part (d1) and a lower one (d2). The winding tube (10), draws by rotation and by the corresponding end the upper half portion (d1) of the silo bag (d). A second winding tube (20) is mounted underlying and parallel to the first tube (10) through support and positioning means (30) and though a mechanical transmission (40). The second winding tube (20) draws by rotation and by the same end, the lower half part (d2) of the silo bag (d). It is thus achieved that the extractor device (b) only draw the product (c) in good condition, while the lower layer of the spoiled product (cl), is drawn by the lower part (d2) of the bag wall and then discarded through the open end of the bag.

Feed wagon

A livestock feed wagon includes a moving frame, a feed container which is fitted on the frame for accommodating animal feed, in particular provided with feed mixer, and a movable arm construction having an operable gripper fitted thereto for grabbing an amount of animal feed. The arm construction is configured in such a way that the arm construction can pivot the gripper only in one plane from a first position for grabbing animal feed next to the livestock feed wagon to a second position for releasing the animal feed above the feed container. This makes it possible to provide a very simple and compact construction.

Vibratory attachment for a grain auger
12089538 · 2024-09-17 ·

The vibratory attachment for a grain auger is a system and method to aid in the removal of grain from a silo via an auger. In addition to the housing that contains the auger at the bottom of a bin, a specialized angled metal plate is welded to the housing at the interior end. A pneumatic turbine vibrator is then mounted to this plate. When the vibrator is powered by a compressed air source, the vibrations travel down the length of the auger housing which is in contact with the compacted grain. The vibrations then break down any bridging that occurs in the grain around the auger, thus allowing the grain to fall freely and be removed by the auger in a normal manner. It is envisioned that operation of the vibrator would occur manually when needed or be triggered on a recurring basis by a timing system.
