A foldable article having a sliceform removably secured to one or more panels of the foldable article. A tab having a retaining portion may extend from at least one of the one or more panels of the foldable article. The tab may pass through an opening in the sliceform and the retaining portion may be wider than the width of the opening. The retaining member may be manipulated to pass through the opening to removably secure the sliceform to, and/or detach the sliceform from, the foldable article.

A card for distributing advertising and information is described. The card, which can be laminated, includes a card body and an expandable component that is detachable from the card body. The expandable component includes two connected plies of material that are connected to form a closed end that is opposite to a detachment end at which the expandable component is detachable from the card body. The expandable component optionally may include one or more sheets of material that are arranged in a folded configuration between the two plies while the expandable component is still attached to the card body. Once the expandable component is detached from the card body, the expandable component is openable to reveal concealed printed matter printed on an interior surface.

The disclosed embodiments generally relate to a transaction card with an integrated card stand. The transaction card comprises a substrate having a card thickness, and first and second card surfaces, the second card surface being substantially coextensive with the first card surface. The transaction may further comprise a card stand pivotable relative to the second card surface and having a stand thickness.

The present invention is a card that stands perpendicular to a horizontal surface. The card is made up of a single piece of material on which graphic images and letters have been printed and which has been specially shaped and pre-creased to enable a recipient to fold the base part of it so that the display part will rise up perpendicular to or at a raked angle from the horizontal surface on which it is placed. A gift card presenter for holding a gift card within a greeting card is provided. The presenter comprises a body for holding the gift card, and a coupling element for coupling the body to the greeting card. In one embodiment, the presenter may comprise a paper mechanic coupled to first and second interior faces of the greeting card, the paper mechanic configured to hold the greeting card and display it when the greeting card is opened. In another embodiment, the presenter comprises a body for holding the gift card, the body having a first half and a second half that each include interior and exterior faces. The presenter may be opened to display or partially display the greeting card. The presenter may be coupled to the inside and/or the outside of the greeting card, to provide a pleasing presentation of the gift card given with the greeting card.

In accordance with the present invention, several stand-alone pop up assembly embodiments and method for making the same are provided comprising folding planar walls, center partition and frictional opening and closing mechanism.
