An assembly providing a leash component, a harness component and an attachment mechanism adapted to attach the leash to the harness is provided. The leash includes two or more handles positioned along its length that may be connected together to effectively reduce the leash's length. The attachment mechanism includes guiding magnets that may facilitate the proper alignment and orientation of the mechanism during engagement between the leash and the harness. In this way, the attachment mechanism is configured to be activated using one hand.

A pet leash with interchangeable attachments is an apparatus that intends to provide pet owners a convenient way of aesthetically matching a collar/harness of a pet, to the handle of the leash. Further, it is an aim of the apparatus to enable users to hold multiple items, such as small accessories, disposable waste bags, treats for the pet etc., as they take a stroll with their pet on the leash. In order to accomplish this, the apparatus comprises a handle, at least one accessory strap attachment with a sealed pouch/bag, and a leash. Furthermore, the handle, the strap attachments and the leash are detachably connected with the help of multiple fasteners. Thus, the apparatus allows users to have a combination of attachments as part of their pet leash, that are both aesthetically pleasing as well as convenient.

A quick-release extension for a pet leash includes a central portion, and a wrist loop extending from one end of the central portion. A strap is secured to another end of the central portion. The central portion includes a quick release mechanism moveable between an engaged position and a release position. In the engaged position, the quick release mechanism engages a portion of the strap, and a leash loop is formed by a length of the strap between a first end of the strap and the engaged portion of the strap. In the release position, the quick release mechanism is disengaged from the strap. The quick release mechanism may be biased towards the closed position. The quick release mechanism may be configured to be disengaged from the strap in response to the release grip being moved towards the wrist loop.

A leash-with-variable-anchor may have two opposing fastener structures, one for removable attachment to a collar or to a harness; and another for fastening back onto a portion of leash-with-variable-anchor, forming a closed looped structure, an anchor. The anchor may function as a handle. The anchor may also be quickly, easily, and safely attached to various articles, such as, but not limited to, posts; and without a need of detaching from the collar or from the harness. In some embodiments, the loop structure of the anchor may be variable (i.e., adjustable) in size. In some embodiments, at least portions of loop structure of the anchor may elastic.

The present invention generally relates to leashes for controlling or leading an animal, and more particularly to an animal training leash configured to prevent entanglement of the leash. In brief, a first cord is connected to a first element of a rotatable component while a second cord is connected to a second element of a rotatable component. Each element of the rotatable component operates independently of the other element.

A multi-lead leash system has a housing that is configured to removably capture ends of a plurality of animal leads within the housing with the leads extending outwardly from the housing. The opposite ends of the leads each have coupling to attach the lead to an animal collar. The housing and captured ends are configured such the capture ends are freely movable within the housing to prevent tangling of the respective leads while walking animals attached to the leads, for example. The housing also has a user lead coupling for the removable coupling of a user lead to the housing, the user lead being grasped by a user using the leash system.

A connection system for connecting and disconnecting loads to a belt harness is disclosed. The connection system according to the present disclosure may permit simplified, fast and safe handling under icing conditions, line of sight obstruction and/or with gloves.

A guide dog apparatus comprises a form fitting guide dog harness, an extensible and rotatable human guiding handle, and a single point attachment mechanism connecting the dog harness and human guiding handle. The harness includes a dorsal panel and a ventral panel. A user handle is connected to an attachment member that is mounted to the dorsal panel of the harness and which includes a clamping gudgeon that retains a pintle attached to the handle in a desired orientation. The apparatus positively couples linear guiding forces in the ventral, dorsal, cranial, and caudal directions. The guiding handle attachment positively couples rotational guiding forces about the vertical dorsoventral axis and the horizontal anteroposterior axis. Freedom of rotation is provided about the lateral horizontal left-right axis. The user is able to laterally adjust the distance between grip and the harness.

A control handle for selective attachment to an animal collar or harness includes a loop member having one or more retention members attached thereto. In addition, a grasping member is provided by the loop member. During use, the loop member of the control handle is brought under an attachment section provided by the animal collar or harness that is positioned around the animal's neck, and is pulled partially around the attachment section of the collar or harness to form a pair of grasping loops for the handler of the animal to hold. The retention members further retain the control handle to the attachment section of the collar or harness. As a result, the control handle converts the collar or harness into a working animal collar or harness.

An animal door assembly and method of operation thereof. The animal door assembly includes an animal door that is connected to, or integrally formed as part of, at least a portion of a door of a user's home, garage, shed, and/or outbuilding. The animal door is selectively movable between a first and second position allowing an animal to enter and exit the user's home, garage, shed, and/or outbuilding. A collar having a collar attachment portion may be selectively attached and detached to and from at least a portion of a leash attachment portion of one or more leashes.
