PET LEASH CONTROL DEVICE
A leash control device includes: a housing including a top cover and a bottom cover rigidly connected to the top cover; a cable wheel including a cylindrical outer ring, the cylindrical outer ring being configured for a leash cable to be wounded on an outer surface of the cylindrical outer ring; a button having a cylindrical member configured on an upper portion of the button and a base configured on a lower portion of the button, the cylindrical member being configured to be extended through a central hole of the top cover; and a compression string configured to bias the button in an upward direction to cause the button to engage with the cable wheel; wherein: when a pressing force is applied to the cylindrical member of the button to counter an upward biasing force of the compression string and no pulling force is applied to the leash cable, the button is configured to be pressed down and disengaged from the cable wheel, and after the button is disengaged from the cable wheel, the cable wheel is configured to rotate freely about a central axis when a pulling force is applied to the leash cable, causing the leash cable to unwind and extend out of the leash control device; and when the button is not pressed down and a pulling force is applied to the leash cable, a vertical post configured on an upper surface of the bottom cover interferes with an underside surface of the base of the button, preventing the button to be pressed down.
Buckle for collar and leash
Disclosed is a buckle for an animal collar and/or leash that is easy to open and close, but at the same time does not open without user intervention. Illustratively, the inventive apparatus comprises a buckle that includes a first clasp member and a second clasp member that form a clasp. Pressure is applied and maintained at the second clasp member to transition the clasp from a closed position to an open position, wherein the second clasp member rotates around a hinge. As the buckle is easy to open and close, the user can conveniently attach the collar or leash to the animal and remove the collar or leash from the animal when it is no longer needed, thus preventing irritation of the animal and build-up of dirt and/or odors. The single-handed operation allows the user to attach and remove the collar or leash efficiently and with minimal effort.
Animal grooming station with safety release
A pet grooming station includes an electrically actuated separable coupler mechanically coupled between a tether point and a lead to a collar or a noose. At least one wired or wirelessly coupled pressure sensitive mat is adapted to sense a presence of a person or an animal on the at least one pressure sensitive mat. The electrically actuated separable coupler is in a coupled state when the pressure sensitive mat senses the presence of the person standing on the mat. Or, when the person is no longer standing on the mat, the electrically actuated separable coupler separates. The electronic controls of the station can be programmed to provide a predetermined or selectable time delay in a range of about 0 to 2 seconds before causing the electrically actuate separable coupler to separate. An upgrade kit or modification kit for existing pet grooming stations is also described.
HYDRATING LEASH FOR PETS AND METHODS OF FORMING SAME
A hydrating leash includes a flexible inner tubing having a closed end and an open end, the inner tubing including a threaded coupler at the open end, an outer fabric sleeve disposed over the flexible inner tubing, a handle unitarily formed with a screwtop having an internal thread configured to mate with the threaded coupler, and an attachment mechanism coupled at a first end to the outer fabric sleeve and configured to couple to a pet's collar at a second end.
ADJUSTABLE FLEXIBLE COLLAR
The present disclosure is directed to a flexible, adjustable, collar. The collar includes a flexible member having a first end and a second end. A plurality of surface features, each having a raised portion on the upper surface the flexible member and a corresponding recessed portion on the lower surface of the flexible member, extend from the first end along the longitudinal axis of the flexible member. An attachment channel to accommodate the passage of the first end of the flexible member is disposed proximate the second end of the flexible member. An attachment feature having a physical geometry corresponding to the recessed portion of the surface feature is disposed on the bottom portion of the attachment channel. As the first end of the flexible member is passed through the attachment channel, the attachment feature engages the recessed portion of each of the surface features.
QUICK-DISCONNECT BALL AND SOCKET JOINT
A quick-disconnect ball and socket joint includes a substantially spherical strain relief node configured to be coupled to an object, such as a cable. The system further comprises an end cap configured to capture the substantially spherical strain relief node, the end cap having a diameter that permits the substantially spherical strain relief node to pass therethrough when the system is in an open position. The system still further comprises a retaining element configured to retain the substantially spherical strain relief node in the end cap. The retaining element is attached to the end cap when the system is in a closed position and the object is prevented from being removed from capture by the end cap. However, in the open position, the retaining element may be removed from capture by the end cap by passing the substantially spherical strain relief node through a diameter of the end cap.
Buckle structure
A buckle structure includes a hook-shaped buckle body and a movable bolt. The hook-shaped buckle body includes a question mark-shaped body and a blocking section provided at an upper end thereof, a receiving cavity is formed between the movable bolt and the question mark-shaped body. The lower end of the movable bolt is hinged at the lower end of the question mark-shaped body, the upper end of the movable bolt is elastically contacted with the upper end of the question mark-shaped body. the contact point of the movable bolt and the hook-shaped buckle body is located in the middle of the hook-shaped buckle body, so that the buckle can be easily mounted on the buckle structure as long as the buckle is sleeved on the blocking section and the buckle is moved in the direction of the receiving cavity.
RELEASABLE SECURING ARRANGEMENT FOR SECURING A MOVEABLE OBJECT
A releasable securing arrangement for securing a moveable object. A hook arrangement is attached to the moveable object. A releasable connection is attached to a fixed object. A strap extends between the hook arrangement and the releasable connection. The hook arrangement is attached to a first end section of the strap. The releasable connection is attached to a second end section of the strap. The releasable connection includes first and second interlocking parts, the first interlocking part being longitudinally spaced from the second interlocking part along the strap. A foldable strap area extends between the first interlocking part and the second interlocking part to enclose the fixed object, the first and second interlocking parts meeting and interlocking at one side of the fixed object. The interlocked first and second interlocking parts separate when force applied onto the releasable connection by the moveable object exceeds a predetermined force limit.
Remote Release Buckle
A buckle assembly includes a housing enclosing a locking bar for securing a latch. The latch is inserted into a latch cavity of the buckle assembly, pushing the spring-loaded locking bar into the housing until a convex feature of the latch passes a convex feature of the latch cavity, and slides to the side, whereupon the locking bar is extended by a compression spring, thereby locking the latch from release from the buckle assembly. The latch is released from the latch cavity by pulling a release cord or cable or trigger attached to the locking bar to overcome the spring tension and draw the locking bar up, thus allowing the latch to move away from the convex feature of the latch cavity and release from the buckle assembly.
Animal Restraint System
Systems, devices and methods for restraining animals are disclosed. The system includes various collar, harness and leash designs. The collars, harnesses and leashes can include various size adjustor assemblies. The designs can be modular and scalable for improved functionality.
