Chopper assembly for a harvester with an automatic blade reset mechanism
A chopper assembly for a harvester may include a blade reset assembly having an automatic blade reset mechanism configured to apply a force that urges the assembly to pivot about a pivot axis such a blade element supported by the blade reset assembly is biased towards an extended position. In addition, blade reset assembly may be configured to pivot against the force applied by the blade reset mechanism when the blade element is subjected to a sufficient counterfbrce force such that the blade element is moved towards a retracted position.
Chopping Blade of a Chopping Drum of a Forage Harvester
Chopping blade (10) of a chopping drum of a forage harvester, having a base body (11) which comprises a fastening portion (12) for fastening the chopping blade (10) to the chopping drum and a cutting portion (13) for the harvested crop to be chopped, wherein at least one crop guiding element (15) for guiding the harvested crop is fastened to the inner surface of the fastening portion (12).
IMPROVED FLAIL CHOPPER ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL COMBINE
A chopper assembly for a crop residue distribution system of an agricultural combine may include a rotor shaft extending lengthwise along a rotational axis between a first end and a second end. The chopper assembly may also include a plurality of flail blades pivotally coupled to the rotor shaft. Each flail blade may be configured to pivot relative to the rotor shaft about a pivot axis, with the flail blades being spaced apart axially from one another between the first and second ends of the rotor shaft. In addition, the chopper assembly may include one or more features configured to improve the performance of the chopper assembly during low speed operation. For example, the feature(s) may correspond to one or more fixed blades coupled to the rotor shaft and/or one or more torsional springs provided in operative association with one or more of the flail blades.
PRE-CUTTER ASSEMBLY FOR A BALER IMPLEMENT
A pre-cutter assembly includes a first set and a second set of knives. A controller is coupled to a first actuator and a second actuator for moving the first set and the second set of knives between a retracted position and a deployed position respectively. The controller may determine a current baler operating parameter and a status of the first and second sets of knives. The controller may then define a desired positional setting for the first and second sets of knives based on the current baler operating parameter and the status of the first and second sets of knives. The controller may then communicate a control signal to the first and second actuators to control the first and second actuators to position the first and second sets of knives in the desired position setting for the first and second sets of knives.
Selectable knife tray arrangement
A cutting assembly is described that comprises two oppositely facing sidewalls and two loading systems, each loading system comprising a transverse member that extends between and through the sidewalls, and two trays of knives. Rotation of a transverse member causes the associated tray of knives to move between a loaded and an unloaded position, wherein the loaded position the knives protrude into a crop collection channel of a harvester for the cutting of crop material.
TOOL FOR MOUNTING A CHOPPING KNIFE ON A CHOPING DRUM
A tool for mounting a chopping knife to a chopping drum. The tool includes a clamping mechanism for releasably fixing the tool in an auxiliary bore of the chopping drum, a frame, an adjusting element, and a positioning element. The clamping mechanism is reversibly adjustable from a basic state, in which the clamping mechanism is unclamped, to a clamping state, in which the clamping mechanism is clamped. The adjusting element is reversibly displaceable relative to the clamping mechanism and/or the frame in a displacement direction along a displacement axis. The adjusting element reversibly adjusts the clamping mechanism from the basic state to the tensioned state. The positioning device positions the chopping knife on the chopping drum.
SINGLE FASTENER ATTACHMENT FOR CHOPPER KNIVES
A chopper knife assembly for use by an agricultural harvester. The chopper knife assembly includes a mounting lug with a fulcrum, wedge, and counterwedge; and at least one bladed knife attached to the mounting lug between the wedge and counterwedge; the assembly is held in place by an attachment means. The bladed knives are able to pivot on the fulcrum of the mounting lug during use, thereby forcing the knife blades onto the counterwedges to provide a more secure retention means.
AGRICULTURAL CHOPPER WITH LINKED COUNTER KNIVES AND SHEAR BAR
An agricultural harvester includes a chassis; a threshing and separating assembly carried by the chassis; and a chopper assembly carried by the chassis that receives crop material from the threshing and separating assembly. The chopper assembly includes at least one movable chopping knife; a plurality of counter knives movable between a first knife position and a second knife position, the plurality of counter knives configured to cooperate with the at least one chopping knife to cut crop material when in the first knife position; a shear bar movable between a first bar position and a second bar position; and a linkage assembly connected to the plurality of counter knives and the shear bar such that the linkage assembly is selectively actuable to simultaneously move the plurality of counter knives and the shear bar between their respective first and second positions.
Distribution machine
A machine for distribution of products for animals, including a bucket with an opening toward a casing including a first wall adjacent to the opening and a second wall remote from the first wall, in which casing a turbine is mounted that can rotate around a rotation axis, the turbine including a disc with blades and knives. The turbine further includes a plate oriented toward the opening and remote from the disc, and a central part remote from the disc and at least one branch, the at least one branch extends from the central part in a substantially radial direction of the disc, the at least one branch of the plate is connected to the disc by two lateral closing sheets to form a bin, the at least one blade of the turbine is formed by the bin.
Knife insert and retract with independent knife protection of agricultural baler
An agricultural baler includes: a frame; a feeder system coupled with the frame and including: a cutting assembly coupled with the frame and including: at least one knife configured for cutting a crop material; an overload protection mechanism associated with a single one of the at least one knife and including a pivot device including an engagement device including an offset configuration; and a displacement apparatus configured for selectively forcing the at least one knife to occupy a first position and for selectively forcing the at least one knife to occupy a second position, each by way of the engagement device.
