The wheel cover is provided with an outer convex platform having a central hole, and the periphery of the central hole is annularly provided with a plurality of nut convex covers and a plurality of through holes. The inner edge of the central hole is vertically and backwardly provided with a hole ring having corresponding two pairs of slots, each slot extends to the central hole with a lock sheet. Each bearing member is provided with a connecting portion and two connecting pieces. The connecting portion is locked with the bolt of the wheel rim, the connecting piece is locked with the lock sheet via a screwed element, so as to assemble the wheel cover to the front wheel of the truck or bus.
CAP MEMBER FOR WHEEL MOUNTING NUT, AND METHOD OF MOUNTING WHEEL
Provided are: a cap member, which is applicable to a wheel mounting nut and is less likely to deteriorate its appearance even if attachment and removal thereof is repeated; and a method of mounting a wheel using the cap member. A cap member 1 includes: a shaft portion 11 provided with a male thread 11a to be screwed on a base end portion of a female thread 2a of a wheel mounting nut 2; and a cover portion 12 that is integrally formed with a base end of the shaft portion 11 and covers a base end opening of the wheel mounting nut 2. The shaft portion 11 is provided on a distal end thereof with a hexagonal hole 13, which serves as a tool engagement portion.
Scratchless decorative cover
The present disclosure is directed at decorative and protective covers for wheels, or wheel simulators for wheels. More particularly, the present disclosure is directed at an improved attachment between the wheel simulator and the wheel and a device and method for a decorative cover or trim over a motor vehicle wheel without scratching the main painted or polished wheel surface.
Wheel hub safety devices, systems and methods
A wheel hub safety device is for a vehicle having a hub and a wheel. The hub having a plurality of opposing equiradially disposed wheel bolts. The wheel having a plurality of opposing equiradially disposed holes spaced for mating engagement with the wheel bolts on the hub. The wheel is configured for attachment to the hub through use of a plurality of lug nuts. The wheel hub safety device has a housing and a plurality of lug nut rotation detectors. The housing is for housing the plurality of lug nut rotation detectors, at least one sensor and a transmitter.
VEHICLE WHEEL HUB COVER, VEHICLE WHEEL, POWERED VEHICLE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle wheel hub cover, a vehicle wheel, a powered vehicle, and a related method of manufacture. The vehicle wheel hub cover comprises a first curved region and at least two protrusions radially disposed about a periphery of the first curved region. Each of the at least two protrusions comprises a first end, a second end, an elongate portion extending from the first end to the second end, and an inner surface defining a cavity configured to receive a lug of a vehicle wheel. The first ends of each of the at least two protrusions are disposed within a plane. The first curved region extends radially inwardly from a first location on each of the elongate portions of the at least two protrusions and towards the plane.
Wheel cover quick mount
Implementations disclosed and claimed herein provide a wheel cover system. In one implementation, an inward force exerted against a wheel cover of the wheel cover assembly in an inward direction towards the hub is received. The inward force overcomes a spring bias of a spring of the receiver and translates the wheel cover assembly in the inward direction. A first rotational force rotating the wheel cover assembly in a first direction is received. The first post guides and engages the first hook, and the second post guides and engages the second hook during rotation. A first positive feedback is generated in response to the inward force and the first rotational force. The wheel cover assembly is releaseably locked to the receiver by translating the wheel cover assembly in the outward direction using an outward force generated by the spring bias. The outward force provides a second positive feedback.
Vehicle hub attachment adaptor and accessories therefor
Wheel hub adaptor (11) attachable to vehicle wheel to attach vehicle accessory for rotation with vehicle wheel, has an inner mounting plate (15) with recesses or apertures (17) to match a vehicle wheel stud pattern, a body (19) extending from the plate (15) to an outer mounting plate (27) having a mount to which the vehicle accessory attaches. The mount has apertures (65) which align with studs (75) on a mating mount of the vehicle accessory. The inner mounting plate and the outer mounting plate mount to the vehicle wheel and vehicle accessory respectively, by rotating apertures (17 65) to stop portions (35 71), and is secured by a bolt passing through one of two circular apertures (43 45) or (67 69). Vehicle accessories can be provided like a paddle to self-propel the vehicle in sand, and a wheel to widen the vehicle track.
Wheel cap lock and locking method
A wheel cap lock includes an engagement receiver fastened to a selected one of wheel lugs of a vehicle for securably engaging an engagement fastener received from an outside of the wheel cap through a hole formed therein in correspondence with a location of the engagement receiver when installed to the selected lug.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE WHEEL
The present invention relates to a safety device (10) for a wheel (11) of a vehicle comprising a rim (12) designed to be fixed to a hub (14) by means of rotational fastening elements (16). The safety device (10) comprises: a plurality of locking elements (30), each element of said plurality of locking elements (30) being suitable for being applied onto one of the rotational fastening elements (16) of the wheel (11) so as to be constrained to rotate together with the rotational fastening element (16); a protection element (20) suitable for being fixed to the rim (12) and comprising a plurality of housing cavities (22); each cavity of said plurality of housing cavities (22) being suitable for receiving one locking element (30); securing means suitable for interfering with the plurality of locking elements (30) to prevent the rotation and/or the extraction of said locking elements (30) from the rotational fastening elements (16). In accordance with the invention the securing means comprising a gripping element (40) suitable for being inserted inside a seat (50) so as to radially engage each element of said plurality of locking elements (30), thereby preventing said locking element (30) from being extracted from the corresponding rotational fastening element (16) and from coming out of its housing cavity (22).
