Feeding Apparatuses and Methods for Plants
The invention provides components, structures, methods, and assemblies for applying feeding materials to plants. The invention may include a permeable structure constructed of a woven material incorporating nutrient-rich material (such as compost, fertilizers, soil amendments, soil supplements, or other material). The structure may be substantially closed around the edges and allow for the flow of water and other material therethrough to plants and surrounding vegetation.
NATURAL BIODEGRADATION FUNCTIONAL SEEDLING PAPER POTS AND SEEDBEDS
The disclosure relates to naturally biodegradable functional seedling paper pot and seedbed including a paper member with an open top, a side portion and a bottom portion, a first coating layer coated with an acrylic emulsion resin on inner and outer surfaces of the paper member, a second coating layer coated with a biodegradable coating composition on the first coating layer of the inner surface of the paper member, and a plurality of holes H formed in the bottom portion of the paper member, in which the biodegradable coating composition of the second coating layer includes water, black mica, activated carbon, detoxified sulfur, minerals, liquid microorganisms, and starch. According to the examples of the present disclosure, it is possible to supply nutrients necessary for the growth of crops by the biodegradation process of compositions that biodegrade completely after 3 to 4 months, help with the crop growth and prevent malnutrition in soil without separate fertilization works, eliminate the risk of damaging the seedling roots because there is no need for any separating work after seedling, reduce labor, and solve the soil pollution problems.
Bio-degradable compositions and use thereof
A bio-degradable composition comprising 0.2%-10% w/w bio-degradable polymer and an organic non hydroxylic solvent may be used as a coating or adhesive in agriculture and home gardening as well as in other industries.
Recycled plastic composite composition
A formulation for a recycled plastic composite composition, and a method of making the composite composition, is provided. The composite composition includes recycled EVA plastic from 30% to 80%, a stone powder from 20% to 70%; percentages by weight.
Highly swellable polymers
The present invention relates to a method for producing polymers that are suitable for absorbing and storing aqueous liquids, and to polymers that can be obtained by this method. This invention further related to the use of such polymers. The method comprises the following steps: i. crosslinking free-radical polymerization of a monomer composition M comprising a) at least one monomer A having an ethylenic double bond and at least one neutralizable acid group or a group hydrolyzable to a neutralizable acid group, b) optionally one or more comonomers B which are different than the monomers A and have one ethylenic double bond, and c) 0.05 to 10% by weight, based on the total amount of monomers A and B, of at least one crosslinker C, in the presence of at least one polysaccharide-comprising substance S, in an aqueous liquid, where the weight ratio of the monomer composition M to the substance S is in the range from 9:1 to 1:9; and ii. at least partial neutralization of the acid groups and/or hydrolysis of the groups hydrolyzable to neutralizable acid groups in the polymer obtained in step i.;
wherein the polymerization and/or the neutralization is performed in the presence of urea.
LIVE PLANT PACKAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A thermoformed thermoplastic clamshell for packaging alive plants. The clamshell has a base unit with a leaf compartment and a root ball compartment. The leaf compartment has a lid pivotally coupled to its top and configured to snap fit and lock to the leaf compartment using tongue-and-groove type locks. The root ball compartment has a bottom wall that is elevated approximately one-third the height of the leaf compartment. A second lid pivotally coupled to the root ball compartment, in combination with the bottom wall of the root ball compartment, acts like a clamp to secure the root ball of a live plant. The second lid has a clamping groove with a flat bottom wall lowered approximately one-third the height from the top of the leaf compartment to define a rectangular channel within the root ball compartment for securing the root ball of a live plant.
PLANT POT
A plant pot includes ventilation holes as a ventilation portion in a side surface so air outside the plant pot can be efficiently taken into the plant pot. The ventilation hole has a first opening that opens toward the outside of the plant pot and a second opening that opens toward the inside of the plant pot. An opening area of the first opening is larger than an opening area of the second opening. The ventilation hole may include a tapered portion that narrows from the first opening toward the second opening.
DETACHABLE AND COLLAPSABLE PALLET BOX
A planter box configured for housing plantings is disclosed. The pallet box assembly includes a pallet base, two side panels, a front panel, and a rear panel, which are collapsible and reusable. Pallet base has tenon joint parts with locking mechanisms that extend out. Pallet base has an opening extending therethrough for ease of handling by pallet jack or hand truck. The side panels include grooves. Front and rear panels include tenon joint part with locking mechanism. The side panels are identical and interchangeable, the front panel is identical and interchangeable with the rear panel. Each locking mechanism includes a winged bolt threadedly inserted and engaged into the tenon joint part, and a wing which is rotated by about 45 to 135 degrees to engageably and securely attach the corresponding tenon joint part in the corresponding groove, so that the pallet box assembly is securely installed.
DRAINAGE COLLECTION POTS FOR PLANTS
A container for a plant may include a base having an axis, a width transverse to the axis, a bottom, and a sidewall extending axially upward from and circumscribing the base. A tier of holes may be formed in the base. The holes in the tier may span a substantially entire width of the base. In addition, the tier of holes may be located at a substantially lowest elevation of the base to define a trough at the bottom of the base.
Vase Article with Imitative Ceramic Effect
An imitation ceramic vase manufactured by a method which includes the following steps. (1) Applying a primer layer material on a vase made by a non-ceramic material, and letting the primer layer material to dry. (2) Applying at least one layer of first middle layer material on the primer layer material on the non-ceramic material vase. (3) Applying at least a layer of second middle layer material on the first middle layer material, and letting the second middle layer material to dry, the second middle layer material having a color which is different from that of the first middle later material. (4) Applying a surface layer material on at least one of the first middle layer material and the second middle layer material, and letting the surface layer material to dry. The surface layer material is a polyurethane imitating porcelain surface coating or an ultraviolet imitating porcelain surface coating.
