PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire has a tread reinforcing layer comprising a net structure formed from a tape of rubber coated reinforcing cord(s). The net structure comprises first oblique segments and second oblique segments of the tape which intersect with each other, forming interspaces therebetween. The first oblique segment has a first axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward one end in the tire axial direction of the net structure. The second oblique segment has a second axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward the above-said one end of the net structure. The first axial outside part is connected to the second axial outside part directly or through a circumferential segment of the tape.
TIRE
A tire includes a tire frame member made of a resin material; a top tread disposed outside the tire frame member in a tire radial direction; and a belt layer disposed between the tire frame member and the top tread, the belt layer constituting of a center area at a middle in a tire width direction and shoulder areas at both sides of the center area in the tire width direction, a width dimension BCW of the center area in a tire axial direction being in a range of from 85 to 105% of a ground width dimension TW of the top tread. In a case in which Hc represents stiffness of the center area, and Hs represents stiffness of the shoulder area, Hc>Hs.
Crown for an aircraft tire
A tire for an aeroplane and, in particular, to the crown of a tire for an aeroplane, having reduced dimensions and mass of the pieces of tread in the event of accidental tire tread separation, without the use of additional devices external to the tire and therefore without penalizing the payload of the aeroplane, including a tread intended to come into contact with the ground via a tread surface and comprised radially between a bottom surface and the tread surface, the tread comprising at least two circumferential ribs adjacent to at least one circumferential groove, each circumferential rib extending radially between the bottom surface and the tread surface and axially between two edge corners in the tread surface, and a crown reinforcement radially on the inside of the bottom surface, wherein a tread separation layer is arranged radially on the inside of at least one circumferential rib between the bottom surface and the crown reinforcement, axially between the two edge corners of the said circumferential rib, in the tread surface, and circumferentially over at least part of the circumference of the tire, and the radial distance (d.sub.1) between the tread separation layer and the bottom surface is at most equal to 1 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprising a tread, a sidewall, a bead portion having a bead core, a bead reinforcing layer reinforcing the bead portion, and a carcass ply moored on a bead core of the bead portion, wherein the bead reinforcing layer and adjacent members adjacent to the bead reinforcing layer are each composed of a rubber composition containing an amine type antioxidant, 0.3 to 8 parts by mass of the amine type antioxidant is contained in the bead reinforcing layer based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, the adjacent member adjacent to the bead reinforcing layer and the bead reinforcing layer satisfy the following formula.
3B/A8
A: Content (wt %) of amine type antioxidant in bead reinforcing layer
B: Content (wt %) of amine type antioxidant in the adjacent member
TIRE FOR TWO-WHEELED AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A tire 2 includes: a tread 4 forming a tread surface 20; a band 14 disposed inward of the tread 4 in a radial direction; and a belt 12 disposed between the tread 4 and the band 14 in the radial direction. The tread 4 includes a center region 22 disposed at a center in an axial direction, and a shoulder region 24 disposed on an outer side in the axial direction. The band 14 includes a band cord. The band cord is helically wound and extends in a circumferential direction. The belt 12 includes a belt cord. The belt cord extends so as to be tilted relative to an equator plane. An absolute value of an angle of the belt cord relative to the equator plane is not less than 70 and not greater than 90.
ULTRA SUPER SINGLE TIRE FOR HEAVY DUTY
An ultra super single tire for heavy duty includes a tread that contacts the road surface; a carcass that constitutes the skeleton of the tire; and a belt layer that is disposed between the tread and the carcass, in which the belt layer is composed of a first belt to a fourth belt that are laminated sequentially from the carcass toward the tread, the first belt includes an extender belt, and the second belt is a wide spiral coil belt. Thus, an excessive increase in weight, the occurrence of excessive heat generation, and deterioration of durability can be prevented, while enhancing the ground contact length at the ground contacting center, and further enhancing the durability at belt layer edges.
