Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a plurality of shoulder blocks that are provided in a side portion, defined by a shoulder main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction and a shoulder lateral groove extending in a tire width direction, and disposed side by side in the tire circumferential direction; a rib that is provided in the side portion, and extends in the tire circumferential direction along the shoulder blocks; and a projection that is provided in the side portion, and extends from the rib toward the shoulder blocks.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire has paired bead portions, paired sidewall portions, a tread portion, a plurality of lug grooves extending from a shoulder area of the tread portion to reach a buttress area of the sidewall portion, and a block defined by the plurality of lug grooves. The block includes a shoulder block provided in the shoulder area, and a buttress block provided in the buttress area. The buttress area is provided with an annular rib annularly extending along a tire circumferential direction. The lug grooves are comparted into an outside lug groove positioned in an outer side of the annular rib, and an inside lug groove positioned in an inner side of the annular rib. A widened portion is provided in at least part of the plurality of lug grooves so as to enlarge a width of the annular rib.
TIRE TREAD
A tire includes an annular tread portion with a circumferentially extending groove having bridge structures at circumferential intervals about the groove and contoured pockets therebetween. Each pocket has curved transition surfaces separating the bridge structures from curved base surfaces of the pocket. The curved transition surfaces have radii of curvature between 2.0 mm and 4.0 mm. The curved base surfaces may radii of curvature between 4.0 mm and 8.0 mm.
TIRE TREAD WITH ASYMMETRIC SHOULDER GROOVE
A tire includes an annular tread portion including a first circumferentially extending asymmetric shoulder groove having an angled axially inner sidewall with an axially inner sidewall radial angle between 170° and 180°, an angled axially outer sidewall with an axially outer sidewall radial angle between 155° and 170°, and a curved base surface with a radius of curvature ranging from 40.0 mm at an axially inner edge and 20.0 mm at an axially outer edge.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes, in a tread, a plurality of blocks divided by grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and grooves extending in a tire width direction, and a plurality of sipes and a stud pin hole disposed in the blocks. In such a tire, at least a portion of the sipes provided in a peripheral area of the stud pin hole comprises a raised bottom portion.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire 1 comprises a tread portion. The tread portion 2 is provided with a plurality of oblique main grooves 3 and oblique land regions 4. The oblique land regions 4 each divided by a first vertical groove 6 into a shoulder block 10 and a middle block 11 disposed axially inside thereof. The shoulder block is provided with a plurality of transverse sipes 15 whose angles with respect to the tire axial direction are less than 45 degrees. The middle block 11 is provided with a plurality of vertical sipes 16 whose angles with respect to the tire circumferential direction is less than 45 degrees.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion which is asymmetric about a tire equatorial plane. The tread portion comprises a first land portion on a vehicle outer side, and a second land portion on a vehicle inner side. The first land portion comprises a circumferential narrow groove extending in a circumferential direction, a plurality of first auxiliary grooves that pass through the circumferential narrow groove and are disposed at periodic intervals in the circumferential direction, first blocks defined by the plurality of first auxiliary grooves, and first narrow grooves that pass through the circumferential narrow groove and are disposed in the first blocks. The second land portion comprises a plurality of second auxiliary grooves disposed at periodic intervals in the circumferential direction, second blocks defined by the plurality of second auxiliary grooves, and second narrow grooves disposed in the second blocks.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes in a land portion (center land portion 4A) defined by a first circumferential groove (3A) and a second circumferential groove (3B), narrow grooves (third narrow grooves 6C) formed as one set of two grooves provided intersecting the tire circumferential direction and arranged side by side in the tire circumferential direction, communicating with the first circumferential groove (3A) and terminating in the center land portion (4A); and auxiliary grooves (fifth auxiliary grooves 5E) provided intersecting the tire circumferential direction communicating with the second circumferential groove (3B) and terminating within the center land portion (4A) with the positions of the terminating end portions disposed between the terminating end portions of the set of the third narrow grooves (6C) in the tire circumferential direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes: a first and second main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction; first and second inclined grooves extending obliquely toward the same side with respect to the tire circumferential direction and connected to the first and second main grooves; and a block defined by the first and second main grooves and the first and second inclined grooves. The block includes a sub groove having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being open to an intermediate portion of the first inclined groove and extending in the tire circumferential direction, the second portion being inclined to a side opposite to the first inclined groove, extending from a terminal end of the first portion in a direction away from the first inclined groove, and being open to the first main groove.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a plurality of lands include a first land, the first land comprises a plurality of circumferential grooves that extend in a tire circumferential direction and that are arrayed in a tire axial direction, the plurality of circumferential grooves are respectively arranged at portions in the tire circumferential direction of the first land, the plurality of circumferential grooves include a first circumferential groove which is arranged in inwardmost fashion in the tire axial direction, and a second circumferential groove which is arranged in outwardmost fashion in the tire axial direction, and as viewed in a tire meridional section, an inner space area of the first circumferential groove is greater than an inner space area of the second circumferential groove.
