In a pneumatic tire, an outer second land portion, a center land portion, and an inner second land portion have a road contact surface that partially bulges toward the outer side in a tire radial direction from a reference contour line of a tread profile in the cross-sectional view in the tire meridian direction. Additionally, a groove width Wg1 of an outer shoulder main groove, a groove width Wg3 of an inner center main groove, and a groove width Wg4 of an inner shoulder main groove have a relationship of Wg3<Wg1<Wg4, 1.05≤Wg1/Wg3≤1.25, and 1.10≤Wg4/Wg3≤1.30.

A tire tread pattern includes a center land portion and an intermediate land portion on an outer side in a width direction thereof. A center land portion region includes no grooves, includes a first sipe having a wide width open to circumferential main grooves on both sides and includes a second sipe having a narrow width between adjacent first sipes and open to the circumferential main grooves on both sides. An intermediate land portion region includes an intermediate lug groove opening to a circumferential main groove in contact with the intermediate land portion. A circumferential direction distance between opening ends of the adjacent first sipes is equal to a distance between opening ends of adjacent intermediate lug grooves in which the region between at least some opening ends in the circumferential direction overlaps the region along the circumferential direction between the opening ends of the adjacent first sipes.

A tire has a lug that forms a contact patch surface, and a recessed region that extends along a prescribed direction and that is recessed relative to the contact patch surface. The recessed region has a first vertical face that that forms a first edge between the first vertical face and the contact patch surface, and a planar base that extends in a width direction of the recessed region which is perpendicular to the prescribed direction. The planar base has at least two planar regions having mutually different heights and arrayed along the prescribed direction. The recessed region further has a second vertical face that connects the two planar regions and that forms a third edge between the second vertical face and a higher one of the planar regions. The third edge is inclined with respect to both a tire width direction and a tire circumferential direction.

A pneumatic tire includes fins disposed on sidewall surfaces of blocks and extending in a tire circumferential direction. Further, a plane is local and is defined to include a ground contact edge of the first and second blocks and an arc connecting opening end portions of three lug grooves defining the first and second blocks. At this time, the fins of the first and second blocks extend sidewalls of the lug grooves further toward an outer side in a tire width direction than the plane via one circumferential edge portions of the blocks. Furthermore, the projection amount of the fins with respect to the plane tapers from the one circumferential edge portions toward other circumferential edge portions of the blocks.
