A tire includes a tread portion, a sidewall portion, and a bead portion. The bead portion includes a bead core that extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in a tire radial direction. Reinforcing cords are provided in the bead portion and the sidewall portion so as to be curved such that inclination angles of the reinforcing cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction gradually increase with nearness to an outside in the tire radial direction.
TIRE HAVING AN ASYMMETRIC BODY PLY CONSTRUCTION
A pneumatic tire may have an outboard bead portion oriented on an outboard side of the tire, an inboard bead portion oriented on an inboard side of the tire, an outboard sidewall portion oriented on the outboard side of the tire, an inboard sidewall portion oriented on the inboard side of the tire, an outboard shoulder portion oriented on the outboard side of the tire, and at least one body ply. The body ply may extend about the outboard bead portion and have a first turnup that extends to at least the outboard shoulder portion. The body ply may extend about the inboard bead portion and have a second turnup that extends to, and terminates in, the inboard bead portion or the inboard sidewall portion, wherein the first turnup height is greater than the second turnup height. At least one belt may be oriented radially outward of the body ply.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire of the present technology is a pneumatic tire provided with a tread portion, side wall portions and bead portions, a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction being provided in the tread portion, and a belt-shaped sound-absorbing member being bonded via an adhesive layer to the tire inner surface in a region corresponding to the tread portion along the tire circumferential direction, wherein the width W of the sound-absorbing member is from 70% to 95% of the tire ground contact width TCW, and the total width of the circumferential grooves included in the region in the tire width direction in which the sound-absorbing member is disposed is from 25% to 40% of the width W of the sound-absorbing member.
Heavy-duty pneumatic tire
A heavy-duty pneumatic tire includes a section width being equal to or less than 335 mm, an aspect ratio being equal to or less than 55%, and a toroidal carcass extending between axially spaced bead portions through a tread portion and sidewall portions. The carcass includes a carcass ply which includes a main portion and a turn-up portion turned up around a bead core of each bead portion. A belt layer is disposed radially outward of the carcass in the tread portion, wherein a radially outer end of the turn-up portion is located between the main portion and the belt layer in the tread portion. A sheeted rubber layer is disposed between the main portion and the turn-up portions in each sidewall portion.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
A non-pneumatic tire and rim assembly having a wheel having a first and second bead ring, wherein the non-pneumatic tire has a crown region and a first and second sidewall region; wherein the first and second sidewall regions each extend from the crown and terminate into a first and second respective bead area, wherein the first and second bead area are each mounted on the first and second bead ring, respectively; wherein each bead area is located axially outward of the crown region of the non-pneumatic tire when mounted on the wheel, and wherein the non-pneumatic tire further includes a reinforcement ply which extends from the first bead area to the second bead area.
Bias tire
A bias tire includes two or more carcass layers, at least one belt disposed outward from the carcass layers in a tire radial direction, a reinforcing rubber layer disposed between carcass plies included in a carcass layer of the carcass layers. A belt width of a widest belt with the widest width of the belts is 110% or more and 150% or less of a tread developed width, and a position of an upper end portion of the reinforcing rubber layer located outward in the tire radial direction is apart 3 mm or more from an end portion of the widest belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire according to an embodiment includes: a carcass ply including organic fiber cords; and a side reinforcement layer including metal cords. The side reinforcement layer extends along a lateral surface of a bead filler, and extends beyond an outer end of the bead filler to an outer side in a tire radial direction. The carcass ply includes: a first ply stretched between bead cores; and a second ply arranged on a tire outer surface side of the first ply. An inner end portion in the tire radial direction of the second ply is superimposed on an outer end portion in the tire radial direction of the side reinforcement layer, and the second ply extends to the outer side in the tire radial direction from the inner end portion and is terminated at a position at which the second ply is superimposed on an end portion of a belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
An outermost end of a carcass folded-up portion is located in a tire width direction inside than an end in the tire width direction of the outermost inclined belt layer, in the tire radial direction between a carcass main body portion and the innermost inclined belt layer. A carcass cord in the folded-up portion located on the outermost side of the tire and a belt cord of the outermost inclined belt layer cross each other to be inclined in the same direction in a tire circumferential direction as being from one side toward the other side in the tire width direction, a difference in inclination angle is 30° or less, a width of the outermost inclined belt layer is larger than that of the innermost inclined belt layer, and in-plane rigidity per unit width of the innermost inclined belt layer is higher than that of the outermost inclined belt layer.
