TIRE
A tire includes a tire frame member that has bead portions in which bead cores are embedded in a resin material and side portions that comprise the resin material and are continuous with tire radial direction outer sides of the bead portions, wherein assuming that T1 is a thickness of thick-walled portions of the tire frame member that are adjacent to the tire radial direction outer sides of the bead cores and that T2 is a thickness of the side portions, T1>T2, a thickness of the tire frame member decreases from T1 to T2 between the thick-walled portions and the side portions, and a position at which the thickness of the tire frame member starts to decrease from T1 to T2 is on a tire radial direction outer side of tire radial direction outer ends of rim flanges of a rim on which the bead portions are mounted.
Pneumatic Tire
A surface of each of the portions of a pneumatic tire includes a ridge pattern region provided with a plurality of ridges continuously extending in one direction and provided at intervals, a non-ridge pattern region including a smooth surface and not provided with the ridges, and a two-dimensional code including a dot pattern formed from two types of gray scale elements distinguishably formed using surface irregularities. The two-dimensional code is engraved entirely overlapping the ridge pattern region or engraved overlapping the ridge pattern region and the non-ridge pattern region.
Bias Tire
Provided is a bias tire including: bead cores; a bead filler disposed outward of each of the bead cores in a radial direction; and a carcass layer stretching between the bead cores, wrapping around end portions of the bead cores, the carcass layer having opposite ends turned back to be fixed, wherein in a cross section in a meridian direction, a cord on an innermost side of the carcass layer in a tire lateral direction has a curved shape projecting laterally outward at a height from 0.9 times to 1.6 times a height of a flange of a rim on which the bias tire is assembled, and in the cross section in the meridian direction, a cord on an outermost side of the carcass layer in the lateral direction has a curved shape projecting laterally outward at a height from 1.1 times to 1.6 times the height of the flange.
Pneumatic Tire
In a state in which the pneumatic tire is mounted on a regular rim and inflated to 5% of a specified internal pressure, a tread width is TW, a total tire width is SW in a tire meridian cross-sectional view, a relationship of 0.80≤TW/SW≤0.95 is satisfied, a ground contact width at a load of 100% of a maximum load capacity is CW100, a ground contact width at a load of 70% of the maximum load capacity is CW70, and a relationship of 1.04≤CW100/CW70≤1.15 is satisfied.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass ply extending between bead portions through a tread portion and sidewall portions, and turned up around a bead core from the inside to the outside of the tire in each of the bead portions, so as to form a pair of turnup portions and a main portion therebetween. In each the bead portion, a first apex rubber and a second apex rubber are disposed. The first apex rubber is disposed between the turnup portion and the main portion. The second apex rubber is disposed axially outside the turnup portion. A complex elastic modulus b of the second apex rubber is larger than that of the first apex rubber. The cross-sectional width wt in mm of the tire and the outer diameter Dt in mm of the tire satisfy the following conditions Dt=<59.078×wt.sup.0.498 and Dt>=59.078×wt.sup.0.460.
Tire for a motorcycle for rough terrain
A tire comprises shoulder blocks and middle blocks having ground contacting surfaces respectively provided with narrow grooves and each including a circumferential groove portion. The tire further comprises bead apex rubbers each extending from respective one of bead cores and each of the bead apex rubbers includes an extended portion extending to a position on an inner side in a tire axial direction of a first reference line passing through the circumferential groove portion of each of the shoulder blocks.
HEAVY GOODS VEHICLE TIRE EQUIPPED WITH A RADIOFREQUENCY COMMUNICATION MODULE
A heavy goods vehicle tire has a radial carcass reinforcement, made up of a single layer of metal reinforcing elements anchored in each of the beads by a turn-up around a bead wire. The turn-up of the carcass reinforcement layer and the main part of the carcass reinforcement layer are coupled, and a passive radiofrequency communication module is placed facing the coupling region at the interface between two layers of rubber compounds.
Pneumatic Tire
In a pneumatic tire including a tread portion, a pair of side wall portions, and a pair of bead portions, a carcass layer is mounted between the bead portions, the tread portion has a multilayer structure including a cap tread rubber layer and an undertread rubber layer, and a snow traction index is 180 or more. A tread radius in a meridian cross-section of the tread portion falls within a range of from 80% to 140% of a tire outer diameter, a ground contact width of the tread portion falls within a range of from 66% to 83% of a tire cross-sectional width, and a height of a bead filler is 40% or less of a tire cross-sectional height.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions, and a pair of bead portions. A carcass layer is mounted between the bead portions, and the carcass layer is turned up from a tire inner side to a tire outer side about a bead core of each of the pair of bead portions. A tread radius in a meridian cross-section of the tread portion is in a range of from 600 mm to 1700 mm, a ground contact width of the tread portion is in a range of from 60% to 90% of a tire cross-sectional width, and a height of a bead filler is equal to or less than 30% of a tire cross-sectional height.
RUN-FLAT TIRE
A run-flat tire includes: a pair of bead portions in which bead cores are embedded; sidewall portions that are continuous with tire radial direction outer sides of the bead portions; a carcass that extends across the pair of bead portions and has a body portion that is positioned between the bead cores and turn-up portions that are turned up from inside to outside about the bead cores; a belt layer disposed on a tire radial direction outer side of the carcass; a tread provided on a tire radial direction outer side of the belt layer; side reinforcing layers that are made of rubber, disposed on the tire inner side of the body portion, and configured so that a thickness of the side reinforcing layers gradually decreases toward the tread and the bead portions; and bead fillers that are made of resin and provided between the bead cores, the body portion, and the turn-up portions.
