TIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TIRE
The method is a method of manufacturing a tire, the tire-including bead cores, a bead filler-extending outward in a tire radial direction of each of the bead cores, a carcass ply extending from one bead core—to another bead core—and folded back around the bead cores, and an electronic component, the method comprising: a covering step of covering the electronic component with coated rubber; a recess forming step of forming, in the bead filler, a recess-having a shape corresponding to a shape of the coated rubber; and a disposing step of disposing the coated rubber, which at least partially covers the electronic component, in the recess-in the bead filler.
Tire and tire manufacturing method
A tire includes: a bead core; a bead filler which extends to an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the bead core; a carcass ply which extends from the bead core to another bead core, and folded back around the bead core; and a rubber sheet which covers a folding end of the carcass ply folded back, in which an electronic component is provided between the bead filler and the rubber sheet.
Heavy duty pneumatic tire
A tire 32 includes: a pair of beads 40; a carcass ply 82 having a ply main body 84 and turned-up portions 86; and a pair of fillers 52 that are located outward of the turned-up portions 86 in the axial direction and that include metal cords. In a radial direction, a first end 92 of each filler 52 is located inward of a bead base line, and a second end 94 of each filler 52 is located between an end 88 of the turned-up portion 86 and the bead base line. A recess 96 is provided on a zone of each side surface 34 of the tire 32 between a maximum width position and the end 88 of the turned-up portion 86.
Tire
A tire includes tire frame members including bead cores, a bead filler, an inner liner, side-wall rubber and cushion rubber; and an electronic unit provided at an interface of tire frame members, the tire further including: a carcass ply which extends from one bead core to another bead core and includes a rubber-coated reinforcement cord, a belt disposed on the outer side in the tire-radial direction of the carcass ply, in which the cushion rubber is disposed at an end of the carcass ply or at an end of the belt, in which the side-wall rubber is disposed on an outer side in a tire-width direction of the cushion rubber, and in which the electronic unit is disposed between the cushion rubber, and the bead filler or the side-wall rubber.
Pneumatic Tire
In this pneumatic tire, the bead core has a predetermined wire array structure obtained by arranging wire cross-sections of bead wires in a cross-sectional view in a tire meridian direction. The following are defined in the wire array structure: a tangent line that contacts, from the side of a rim fitting face, an innermost layer in the tire radial direction and the wire cross-section on the innermost side and the outermost side in the tire lateral direction; contact points of the tangent line with respect to the wire cross-sections on the innermost side and the outermost side; a middle point of the contact points; and gauges in the tire radial direction from the contact points and middle point to the rim fitting face. In this case, the change rates of the gauges before and after rim assembly each are in the range of 10% to 60%.
Tire and tire manufacturing method
A tire includes: a bead core; a bead filler extending to an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the bead core; a carcass ply which is folded back around the bead core; a pad member disposed on an outer side in the tire-width direction of the bead filler; and a first rubber sheet disposed in a state covering a folding end of the carcass ply which is folded back, between the bead filler and the pad member, in which a second rubber sheet covering an electronic component is disposed between the bead filler and the pad member on an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the first rubber sheet.
Tire
A tire includes: a pair of beads having bead cores and a bead filler extending to an outer side in a tire-radial direction of the bead core; a carcass ply extending from one of the bead core of one bead to the bead core of the other bead, and folded back around each of the bead cores; a first pad disposed at an outer side in a tire-width direction of a folding end of the carcass ply which is folded back; a second pad disposed at an outer side in the tire-width direction of the first pad; and rim strip rubber disposed at least at a part on an outer side in the tire-width direction of the second pad, in which an electronic component is provided to interpose the second pad and the rim strip rubber.
Pneumatic tire
With a pneumatic tire not mounted on a rim, in a meridian cross-section a first line is parallel with an innermost bottom side of a bead core in a radial direction and passes through an outermost projection of the bead core in a lateral direction, a second line is orthogonal with the first line at the outermost projection, a third line is orthogonal with the first line and passes through an intersection of a rim cushion rubber, a distance between the second and third lines is 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a shortest distance between an innermost projection of the bead core in the lateral direction and a cord of a carcass layer is 0.6 to 1.4 mm, and a shortest distance between an innermost end of the bottom side of the bead core in the lateral direction and the cord of the carcass layer is 1.2 to 2.2 mm.
Tire manufacturing method
A tire manufacturing method includes making a master batch, using the master batch to make a rubber composition, and making a green tire. The master batch is made wherein a carbon-black-containing pre-coagulation rubber latex is coagulated to obtain a coagulum; a compound according to Formula (I) is added to the water-containing coagulum; ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each indicates a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbons, an alkenyl group having 1 to 20 carbons, or an alkynyl group having 1 to 20 carbons, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different, and M.sup.+ indicates sodium ion, potassium ion, or lithium ion; and the compound according to Formula (I) is dispersed within the coagulum. The green tire is provided with unvulcanized rubber sheeting made up of the rubber composition, chafer(s), carcass ply or plies, and bead filler(s).
