TIRE AND TIRE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A tire includes: a bead core; a bead filler extending to an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the bead core; a carcass ply which is folded back around the bead core; a pad member disposed on an outer side in the tire-width direction of the bead filler; and a first rubber sheet disposed in a state covering a folding end of the carcass ply which is folded back, between the bead filler and the pad member, in which a second rubber sheet covering an electronic component is disposed between the bead filler and the pad member on an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the first rubber sheet.
TIRE AND TIRE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A tire includes a carcass ply, a metal reinforcement layer which reinforces the carcass ply, an electronic component arranged in a vicinity of the metal reinforcement layer, and an insulating layer arranged between the metal reinforcement layer and the electronic component.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes one carcass including a folded up portion and a reinforcing layer between the folded up portion and a bead filler. The folded up portion has an end portion in a region inward of a belt layer in a radial direction and inward of the belt layer in a lateral direction. The bead filler has an outer end portion distanced from a bead heel portion from 20% or more to 40% or less of a tire cross-sectional height. The reinforcing layer has an outer end portion outward of the outer end portion of the bead filler in the radial direction and inward in the radial direction with respect to a position of a tire maximum width position in the radial direction. A sidewall portion is formed of a side rubber having tan at 60 C. of from 0.04 or more to 0.10 or less.
Tubeless tire having reinforced bead portion
Disclosed is a tubeless tire having a reinforced bead portion capable of reducing the stress applied to a portion contacting a rim flange and to an edge of a carcass. The tubeless tire includes a carcass turned up around a bead core, a bead filler filled in a space above the bead core surrounded by the carcass, a steel chafer disposed to contact an outer surface of the carcass, and a first reinforcing rubber layer provided between the bead core and the carcass in order to prevent a turnup portion of the carcass from being pulled downwards, the first reinforcing rubber layer being located around a portion of the bead core that is oriented toward a rim flange. The bead portion is improved in durability under a high-pneumatic-pressure condition by reducing the stress applied to interfaces of the edge of the carcass, the steel chafer and the nylon chafer.
Tire
The bead portion of the pneumatic tire includes a bead structure having a bead core composed of a bead cord, and an annular plate which extends to the tire circumferential direction and is formed of a resin material. The annular plate has a planar first annular ring portion extending to the tire circumferential direction and a second annular ring portion positioned outside the tire radial direction of the first annular portion and extending to the tire circumferential direction, the first annular portion is provided along the bead structure, and the second annular portion is further inclined to the outside in tire width direction of the first annular portion.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire includes: a tread portion including a tread surface; a pair of sidewall portions that extend inward in a tire radial direction from both sides of the tread portion in a tire width direction; and a pair of bead portions each of which includes a bead core that is elongated continuously to an inside of the sidewall portion in the tire radial direction and extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in the tire radial direction. A density of the reinforcing cords changes in a range from 20% inclusive to 60% inclusive of a tire sectional height from a tire inner end in the tire radial direction, and such that an outside of an area, in which the density changes, has a low density of the reinforcing cords.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire includes a tread portion, a sidewall portion, and a bead portion. The bead portion includes a bead core that extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in a tire radial direction. Reinforcing cords are provided in the bead portion and the sidewall portion so as to be curved such that inclination angles of the reinforcing cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction gradually increase with nearness to an outside in the tire radial direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH A ROBUST PLY ENDING STRUCTURE
A pneumatic radial tire includes a pair of opposing bead areas, in which each bead area includes a bead core and a bead apex. At least one carcass reinforcing ply includes a turn up at each bead core, and each turn up includes a radially outward end. A pair of chippers is disposed at each turn up, in which the pair of chippers includes a first chipper and a second chipper. The first chipper is disposed axially inwardly of the second chipper and includes a radially outward end that is disposed radially outwardly of the radially outward end of the turn up. The second chipper includes a radially outward end that is disposed radially outwardly of the radially outward end of the first chipper, in which forces due to deflection of the tire are absorbed by the pair of chippers to reduce stresses along each turn up.
Pneumatic tire
In an apex 34 of a tire 2, a reinforcing portion 48 is located inward of a main body 46 in an axial direction. When a position on an outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from a BBL is 14 mm is defined as a first point P1 and a position on the outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from the BBL is 20 mm is defined as a second point P2, the reinforcing portion 48 overlaps the first point P1 and the second point P2 in a radial direction. A loss tangent of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a loss tangent of the main body 46 or less than the loss tangent. A hardness of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a hardness of the main body 46 or greater than the hardness.
Tire having a reinforced lower zone
A tire for a motor vehicle comprising: two beads (20); two sidewalls (30) meeting at a crown (25); at least one carcass reinforcement (160) extending from the beads (20) through the sidewalls (30) as far as the crown (25), the carcass reinforcement (160) having a plurality of carcass reinforcing elements and anchored in the two beads (20) by a turn-up around the annular reinforcing structure (70), so as to form in each bead a main strand (162) and a turn-up strand (163); and a stiffening reinforcement (140) arranged in at least one sidewall of the tire, said stiffening reinforcement (140) having a radially inner end (141) and a radially outer end (142), the stiffening reinforcement being formed of a plurality of stiffening elements oriented at an angle less than or equal to 10? relative to a circumferential direction of the tire.
