Towbar with a hitch adaptor system
A towbar with a hitch adaptor system incorporating a detachable receiving member and a detachable hitch ball is shown and described. The towbar with a hitch adaptor system may include a linkage member, a connecting member, a coupler and a receiver member. The receiver member may also include a detachable receiving hitch and a detachable hitch ball.
Automatically locking hitch
A hitch assembly for coupling a trailer to a tow vehicle comprises a king ball including a base and a king pin extending vertically from a top surface of the base, the king pin including a ball positioned on a distal end opposite the base, the ball adapted to be pivotally received into a hitch of the trailer. A hitch block includes a draw bar and a housing, the drawbar adapted to be horizontally inserted into a receiver mounted onto the tow vehicle, the housing including a throat adapted to receive the base of the king ball. A locking mechanism is adapted to automatically engage the king pin when the base of the king ball is inserted into the throat of the housing to secure the base of the king ball within the throat of the housing and locking the king ball and the hitch block together.
Adapter of an Agricultural Implement and Agricultural Implement
Adapter (27) of an agricultural implement, having a first, cylindrically contoured section (27a), the external diameter of which is designed to couple the agricultural implement to a US quick-hitch attachment system of an agricultural support vehicle, and having a second, spherically contoured section (27b), the external diameter of which is designed to couple the agricultural implement to a European lower-link attachment system of an agricultural support vehicle.
Gooseneck puck extender
A gooseneck ball extender is designed to mate with a center socket and receivers mounted to a towing vehicle and provide a gooseneck ball that is offset from the center socket. The extender has a cylindrical shaft with captured balls that can be moved between a retracted position and an extended position through a spring-loaded locking shaft that moves between an unlocked and locked position. The locking shaft is biased towards the locked position where the captured balls are extended. The extender has an outrigger portion that has puck locks. The puck locks are rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. As attached to the towing vehicle, the outrigger portion provides additional support to the gooseneck ball.
TRAILER COUPLER SYSTEM
A trailer coupler system can include one or more skid plates made from extruded aluminum, one or more support tubes attached to the skid plates, a plurality of struts having a first end attached to the one or more skid plates, a ball housing attached to a second end of at least two of the plurality of struts, a first towball positioned within the ball housing, an adapter sleeve attached to the ball housing, a support plate extending from a support tube or skid plate to the adapter sleeve, an adapter having a kingpin coupler for coupling to a kingpin of a trailer, and a towball coupler for directly coupling with the first towball.
Controlled-flexing trailer hitch system and method
A controlled-flexing trailer hitch system and method to facilitate vehicle-to-trailer attachment and maneuvering by providing a flexible state during attachment, detachment, and low-speed maneuvering of a trailer, and automatic change to a fixed in-line state upon the in-line pulling of the trailer, by providing disengageable spring-return stiffening members and a flexible segmented towing member, where the spring-return stiffening members can be disengaged to allow flexible movement of the flexible towing member, and where, upon commencement of the in-line pulling of the trailer, the spring-return stiffening members engage to place the controlled-flexing trailer hitch into a fixed in-line state.
APPARATUS FOR PULLING TRAVEL TRAILERS
An apparatus for pulling travel trailers is disclosed. The apparatus for pulling a travel trailer includes an extension arm and a frame. One end of the extension arm is connected to a ball coupler, and another end of the extension arm is connected to the frame. The ball coupler is to be rotatably coupled to a gooseneck ball located on a towing truck. The frame includes a hitch ball to be coupled to a hitch ball receptacle from the travel trailer. A pair of mounting arms is extended from the frame, and a pair of clamping brackets is rotatably connected to the pair of mounting arms via a pair of hinges, respectively. The clamping brackets are configured to secure to an A-frame of the travel trailer via a set of pins.
Truck Saver
The Truck Saver is a removable apparatus used for attaching a boat trailer to a tow vehicle. Measuring at 13 feet 1 inch The Truck
Saver prevents the tow vehicle from submerging into the water during launching and retrieving a boat. The equipment comprises of 2 metal poles one pole is 6-foot-long and the second is 6 foot 6 inches, at the end is a ball mount. To explain, the ball mount is the attached to the towing vehicle. On the other side of The
Truck Saver remains a 12 inch by 12-inch square platform with two 15-inch wheels and an exchangeable tow ball used to mount a boat trailer. The length of the metal rods extends the distance from the truck and boat trailer allowing the user to submerge the boat while keeping the integrity of the truck pristine and unaffected by the water. Once boat retrieval is accomplished it can be disassembled for transport and storage.
