A controlled-flexing trailer hitch system and method to facilitate vehicle-to-trailer attachment and maneuvering by providing a flexible state during attachment, detachment, and low-speed maneuvering of a trailer, and automatic change to a fixed in-line state upon the in-line pulling of the trailer, by providing disengageable spring-return stiffening members and a flexible segmented towing member, where the spring-return stiffening members can be disengaged to allow flexible movement of the flexible towing member, and where, upon commencement of the in-line pulling of the trailer, the spring-return stiffening members engage to place the controlled-flexing trailer hitch into a fixed in-line state.

A trailer cart includes a frame having a front end, a rear end and sides. A wheel assembly is attached to the frame. The wheel assembly includes an axle and a pair of wheels. A tongue is attached to and extends from the front end of the frame. The tongue includes a trailer coupler configured to secure to a trailer ball. A winch assembly is attached to the trailer. The winch assembly includes an upright post and a winch attached to the upright post. The winch assembly is attached to at least one of the tongue and the frame and is disposed near the front end of the frame.

A trailer cart includes a frame having a front end, a rear end and sides. A wheel assembly is attached to the frame. The wheel assembly includes an axle and a pair of wheels. A tongue is attached to and extends from the front end of the frame. The tongue includes a trailer coupler configured to secure to a trailer ball. A winch assembly is attached to the trailer. The winch assembly includes an upright post and a winch attached to the upright post. The winch assembly is attached to at least one of the tongue and the frame and is disposed near the front end of the frame.

An electric scooter hitch assembly is configured to be quickly attached to and removed from an electric scooter. The hitch assembly provides a mechanism for selectively securing a carry-on or other towable item to a variety of electric scooters. The hitch assembly is compact and easily transportable thereby making it an ideal solution for a rider to temporarily adapt an electric scooter, including rental electric scooters, to transport towable items such as trailers, luggage, carts, or other suitable items.

An electric scooter hitch assembly is configured to be quickly attached to and removed from an electric scooter. A boat trailer extender that comprises of a track bar that connects to a tow vehicle, a guide bar that mounts on the track bar, the guide bar is configured to receive a boat trailer, four horizonal and four vertical guide bar rollers that are used to stabilize the guide bar on the track bar, a winch that is used to move the guide bar, the winch uses a strap and a series of track guide rollers that form a strap loop, and a closed loop strap brake that is used to add tension to the strap as it is spooled onto a spool of the winch. The spool is a two-sided spool, a first side of the spool can release and retrieve the strap as the guide bar is moved on the track bar, and a second side of the spool can retrieve and release the strap as the guide bar is moved on the track bar.

A linkage for interconnecting material handling equipment of a convoy is provided. The linkage comprises a rod having first and second opposite ends, a first pivot joint between the first end and the second end, the first pivot joint having a first pivot axis extending transversely to a longitudinal axis of the rod. A biasing member is secured to the rod and deformable upon rotation of the first pivot joint about the first pivot axis. The biasing member resists at least partially to the rotation of the first pivot joint about the first pivot axis. A first coupling and a second coupling are respectively pivotally mounted to the first end and the second end of the rod for rotation about respective pivot axes transverse to both the longitudinal axis of the rod and the first pivot axis.

A selectable and height-adjustable hitch apparatus for towing comprising an elongated shank received by a vehicle attached to an upper bracket with pentagonal opposing vertical support arms with pinholes for angular adjustment of the elongate shaft to the upper bracket. An upper tube integral with the upper bracket in telescopic relation to at least one lower or middle tube and adjustable in length by aligned pinholes. A lower bracket integral with a lower tube receiving a ball mount, wherein the ball mount is angularly and height adjustable via the tow-hitch apparatus.

A selectable and height-adjustable hitch apparatus for towing comprising an elongated shank received by a vehicle attached to an upper bracket with pentagonal opposing vertical support arms with pinholes for angular adjustment of the elongate shaft to the upper bracket. An upper tube integral with the upper bracket in telescopic relation to at least one lower or middle tube and adjustable in length by aligned pinholes. A lower bracket integral with a lower tube receiving a ball mount, wherein the ball mount is angularly and height adjustable via the tow-hitch apparatus.

Hitches are disclosed relating to towing that include a sleeve, a receiver stem, a post and a coupler. The post may slide within the channel allowing the hitch to be adjustable. The coupler may be a socket configured to receive a ball. The post and the coupler may be in alignment. The described hitches may be useful for the towing of vehicles having a receiver tube.
