wherein the shaft has a first end and a second end, and wherein the first end of the shaft may be released from the first drum end and exposed to facilitate threading of the rope eye over the shaft without releasing the second end of the shaft from the second drum end.
A RECOVERY LINE CONNECTION APERTURE INTERFACE MEMBER FOR A VEHICLE RECOVERY POINT
A recovery line connection aperture interface member for a vehicle recovery point increases load rating capacity of rope product inserted through the recovery point. The recovery point has a plate having the recovery line connection aperture through a distal end thereof. The interface member is applied against a side surface of the plate to interface an edge of the aperture so that an outer bearing surface of the interface member increases a bend radius of the recovery line connection around the edge of the connection aperture in use.
Towing attachment installable on work machine
Provided is a tow attachment that can be installed on a work machine as an attachment for towing a tow object. This tow attachment installable as a work machine attachment for towing a tow object is provided with: a body frame; a winch fixed on the body frame; a coupling part which is provided to the body frame so as to be mounted on the work machine; a movable pulley part which is equipped with a hook for coupling to the tow object and at least one movable pulley; and a wire fixing part which is provided to the body frame in order to fix a leading end of a wire that is let out of the winch, wherein the wire is applied on the movable pulley of the movable pulley part between the winch and the wire fixing part.
Displaceable tow hook
Disclosed embodiments include apparatuses, vehicles, and methods for a displaceable tow hook. In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus includes a tow hook configured to extend from a surface of a vehicle in a first direction. The tow hook includes a receiving section configured to receive a towing line and a securing section configured to extend away from the receiving section. A positioning mount is configured to secure the tow hook to the surface of the vehicle and to release the tow hook in response to an impinging force on the tow hook in excess of a predetermined threshold. A load-bearing structure is configured to mechanically connect the securing section to a structural component of the vehicle. The tow hook and the load-bearing structure are configured to support a force having a component in the first direction that is at least equal to the towing weight of the vehicle.
Low profile trolley for a tow saddle
A trolley that couples to a tow saddle is provided. The trolley includes an upper plate and a lower plate. The upper and lower plate are secured against a rear portion of a tow saddle. One or more support bars are coupled to the upper plate. The bars provide structural support for the upper plate and deflect a chain that transits apertures in the upper plate.
Retractable tow rope
Methods, systems, devices and apparatuses for a retractable tow rope system. The retractable tow rope system includes a tow rope. The tow rope has a first end, a second end, a notch in between the first end and the second end, and an anchoring device. The anchoring device is positioned at the first end of the top rope and configured to couple with an object. The retractable tow rope system includes a reel apparatus. The reel apparatus is coupled to the second end of the tow rope and has a rope hook. The rope hook is configured to latch onto or unlatch from the notch.
Vehicle hauling apparatus
A vehicle hauling apparatus for hauling a second vehicle with a first vehicle includes: a hitch bar for attaching the apparatus to a hitch receiver; a first rail mounted and arranged vertically to the hitch bar; a second rail mounted and arranged to slide vertically along the first rail; a jacking mechanism connecting the first rail to the second rail so as to lift and lower the second rail; a first element of a pivot attached to the second rail; a wheel cradle in which a tire of the second vehicle may be seated; and a second element of the pivot attached to the wheel cradle; whereby the tire of the second vehicle may be rolled along a ground surface into the wheel cradle while the wheel cradle rests on the ground surface and then be raised into a position for hauling by the jacking mechanism. A vehicle hitch jacking accessory, includes: a hitch bar for attaching the vehicle hitch jacking accessory to a hitch receiver of a vehicle; a first rail mounted and arranged vertically to the hitch bar; a second rail mounted and arranged to slide vertically along the first rail; a jacking mechanism connecting the first rail to the second rail so as to lift and lower the second rail; and a secondary hitch receiver attached to the second rail, whereby a second accessory having a hitch bar may be attached to the vehicle hitch jacking accessory.
