Skid mounted oil well production processing system
11549350 · 2023-01-10 · ·

A modular skid mounted oil production system, comprising multiple skid sections that are connectable via alignment pins coupled to the skid beam structure. The alignment pins having a fork connector that is connected to a knife connector. When the skid sections are connected, the piping, electrical, and pneumatic tubing connectors are connectable to the other corresponding skid piping, electrical, and pneumatic tubing connectors without the need for welding or field construction of connecting components. The modular skid oil production system is capable of expansion or contraction as required by the operation of the system. For example the system includes removing a skid section having a larger separator and replacing it with a skid section having a smaller separator, without the need of welding or field construction of connecting components.

TRAILER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
20230347998 · 2023-11-02 ·

Trailer electrical connector assemblies can facilitate the automatic coupling and decoupling of a trailer. A trailer electrical connector assembly can include a vehicle portion and a trailer portion. The vehicle portion can include a hitch ring that is secured to a hitch ball and guides within which contacts are positioned. The trailer portion can include a sleeve that is positioned around a coupling mechanism of the trailer and a sleeve ring that forms receivers within which contacts are positioned. When the hitch ball is inserted into the trailer's coupling mechanism, the receivers can be automatically coupled with the guides to thereby form an electrical connection between the vehicle and the trailer.

AUTOMATED HITCH FOR AUTOMATED VEHICLE

Systems and methods for towing, hitching, and connecting devices are described. An autonomous guided vehicle includes an automated hitch capable of connecting to a variety of types of containers.

TRAILER COUPLER ASSEMBLY
20230339272 · 2023-10-26 ·

A trailer coupler assembly facilitates the automatic coupling and decoupling of a trailer. A trailer coupler assembly can include a main body with a frontward-facing opening for receiving a rearwardly oriented trailer ball. A locking assembly can be integrated with the main body and can allow the rearwardly oriented trailer ball to insert into the frontward-facing opening to automatically secure a trailer to a vehicle. A release assembly can interface with the locking assembly to enable the rearwardly oriented trailer ball to be decoupled from the main body.

WEIGHT MEASURING HITCH BALL ASSEMBLY FOR MEASURING WEIGHT OF A TRAILER SUPPORTED BY A TOW VEHICLE
20220250424 · 2022-08-11 · ·

A weight measuring hitch ball assembly is described. The assembly can include a hitch ball and a body portion having an opening that slidably receives a lower portion of the hitch ball. Additionally, the assembly can include a retention coupling operable with the hitch ball and the body portion to secure the hitch ball to the body portion. The retention coupling can have a retention protrusion and a retention wall defining at least a portion of a retention opening operable to receive at least a portion of the retention protrusion therein. With the retention protrusion extending into the retention opening, the retention wall can provide a mechanical barrier to the retention protrusion that prevents removal of the hitch ball from the hitch ball opening, while allowing slidable movement of the hitch ball within the hitch ball opening sufficient to determine a magnitude of the force acting on the hitch ball.

Height adjustable implement mount for single-point hitch equipped vehicles
11420489 · 2022-08-23 · ·

An implement mount for height adjustable mounting of an implement to a vehicle. The mount features a hitch coupler for mating with a single-point hitch of the vehicle to reach longitudinally therefrom, and a guide frame defining at least one guide slot lying transverse to the longitudinal direction of the hitch coupler in an upright orientation. At least one link arm is pivotally supported on the hitch coupler, and an implement carrier is coupled to the link arm proximate a rear end thereof. A follower arrangement is engaged between the link arm and the guide slot to constrain movement of the implement carrier to movement along the guide slot. Pivotal movement of the link arm in a first direction lifts the implement carrier along the guide slot, while pivotal moment in a second direction lowers the implement carrier along the guide slot.

Automatic alignment reattempt in automatic hitch operation

A hitch assist system for a vehicle is provided herein. The hitch assist system includes a sensing system configured to detect a hitch assembly and a coupler. A controller is configured to determine an offset between the hitch assembly and the coupler. The controller is further configured to generate a command for maneuvering the vehicle forward based on the offset exceeding an offset threshold. The controller is further configured to generate a command for subsequently maneuvering the vehicle rearward along an alignment path. The controller is configured to prompt termination of the forward maneuver of the vehicle based on a determination that alignment of the hitch assembly with the coupler is feasible via execution of the alignment path.

MECHANICALLY-ADAPTABLE HITCH GUIDE
20220088980 · 2022-03-24 ·

A hitch guide is provided that has wide ranging use for a plurality of different types of vehicles. The hitch guide can include at least one moveable guiding member, at least one moveable locking member configured to lock the guiding member in at least one fixed position and configured to disengage from the guiding member to enable the guiding member to move freely within an extended, defined range of motion. In various embodiments, a force applied to a portion of the guiding member causes the locking member and the guiding member to engage to lock the guiding member in the fixed position. Further, a force applied to a release of the locking member disengages the locking member and the guiding member is released from the fixed position, which enables a greater range of rotational motion of the guiding member to accommodate tight turns of a vehicle with cart in tow.

SLIP HITCH SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
20220072918 · 2022-03-10 ·

Disclosed is a slip hitch system for coupling and uncoupling trailers from tractors having a three point lift. The slip hitch system comprises a tractor component mounted directly to the three point lift or in other embodiments to a standard 3 point hitch connected to the tractor's 3 point lift. A trailer component is configured for mating with one or more trailers to be moved. A tractor plate on the tractor component is configured for seating within a trailer component capture space or the inverse. Elevation of the tractor's 3 point lift consequently lifts the trailer component and trailer tongue for trailer relocation. Once relocated, the 3 point lift is lowered and the trailer and tractor components are separated while the operator remains in the tractor cab. Also disclosed are various locking mechanisms between the tractor and trailer components and methods of use and integration of power take-off.
