WHEEL MODULE
A wheel module for a vehicle includes a tire, a steering unit, a driving unit, a braking unit, and a suspension mechanism. The steering unit is configured to output a steering force for the tire. The driving unit is configured to output a driving force for the tire. The braking unit is configured to output a braking force for the tire. The suspension mechanism is supported by an upper end fulcrum and a lower end fulcrum so as to reduce vibration or impact transmitted from a road surface. An imaginary straight line extending along a vertical direction and passing through a center of the tire in a radial direction and in a width direction of the tire is defined as a tire central axis. The lower end fulcrum of the suspension mechanism is positioned away from the tire central axis when viewed from a side surface of the tire.
Leveling System for Lift Device
A lift device includes a base, an arm, a drive actuator, a tractive element, and a steering actuator. The arm has a base end coupled to the base and a tractive element end. The arm includes a steering actuator interface positioned along an exterior surface of the arm. The drive actuator is pivotally coupled to the tractive element end of the arm. The tractive element is coupled to the drive actuator. The steering actuator has a first end coupled to the steering actuator interface and an opposing second end coupled to the drive actuator. The arm includes a plate extending forward of the exterior surface of the arm and past the steering actuator.
Leveling System for Lift Device
A lift device includes a base having a first end and an opposing second end, a first arm pivotally coupled to the first end, a second arm pivotally coupled to the first end, a third arm pivotally coupled to the opposing second end, a fourth arm pivotally coupled to the opposing second end, and a leveling assembly. The leveling assembly includes a first actuator extending between the first arm and the first end, a second actuator extending between the second arm and the first end, a third actuator extending between the third arm and the opposing second end, a fourth actuator extending between the fourth arm and the opposing second end, and a controller configured to control the first actuator, the second actuator, the third actuator, and the fourth actuator to reconfigure the leveling assembly between (i) a shipping, transport, or storage mode and (ii) an operational mode.
Leveling System for Lift Device
A lift device includes a chassis, a first actuator coupled to the chassis, a second actuator coupled to the chassis, a third actuator coupled to the chassis, a fourth actuator coupled to the chassis, and a fluid circuit. The fluid circuit is configured to facilitate selectively fluidly coupling the first actuator, the second actuator, the third actuator, and the fourth actuator in at least four different configurations where, in each of the at least four different configurations, two of the first actuator, the second actuator, the third actuator, and the fourth actuator are fluidly coupled together while the other two of the first actuator, the second actuator, the third actuator, and the fourth actuator are fluidly decoupled.
SUSPENSION APPARATUS AND VEHICLE
A suspension apparatus configured to support a wheel of a vehicle includes an in-wheel motor. The suspension apparatus includes a suspension member extending substantially in a front and rear direction of the vehicle and coupled to a carrier at a plurality of coupling portions spaced apart from each other in an up and down direction. The carrier holds the in-wheel motor. A reference point of an upper one of the plurality of coupling portions is located on an inner side of a reference point of a lower one of the plurality of coupling portions in a widthwise direction of the vehicle.
Electric vehicle
A vehicle is provided including a frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a front frame module, a middle frame module, and a rear frame module. The front frame module is fastened to a front portion of the middle frame module. The rear frame module is fastened to a rear portion of the middle frame module. The middle frame module is interchangeable with at least one other middle frame module to change a length of the vehicle.
Swingarms and wheel support legs with weldments incorporating castings at joints
A swingarm includes a first swingarm leg oriented along a first horizontal plane, a main body extending upward and outward from a second end of the first swingarm leg, and a second swingarm leg extending from a second end of the main body along a second horizontal plane. The swingarm also includes a first bearing holder coupled to a first end of the first swingarm leg and a second bearing holder coupled to a second end of the second swingarm leg. The first bearing holder includes a cavity oriented horizontally to form a first pivot axis. The second bearing holder includes a cavity oriented vertically to form a second pivot axis. The first and second bearing holders are of the same construction.
Automatic tilting vehicle
An automatic tilting vehicle including a pair of wheels rotatably supported by wheel carriers and laterally spaced apart and a vehicle tilting device that tilts the vehicle to the inside of a turn when turning. The vehicle tilting device includes a swing member, an actuator that swings the swing member about a swing axis, and a pair of connecting rods pivotally attached to the swing member and the wheel carriers on both lateral sides of the vehicle. Each connecting rod has a preset weakest portion that is buckled to be deformed in a preset direction in a preset area when a buckling load equal to or larger than a preset value is applied.
Drop deck trailer
The application discloses a Drop Deck Trailer having a pivoting axle system that allows the deck of the trailer to be incrementally lowered to the ground. When coupled to a tow vehicle, the partially lowered deck becomes a ramp to load and unload a vehicle. The unloaded trailer can be backed into a standard garage, uncoupled, and lowered completely to the ground. The UTV or light vehicle can then be front-loaded on the trailer. This capability allows the convenience and cost savings of simultaneously storing a UTV or other light vehicle in the same standard garage space. A unique articulated tongue assembly allows the operator to minimize the footprint of the parked trailer, allowing smaller spaces to be used for storage or simply eliminate a trip hazard. The Drop Deck Trailer is a combination of innovative features that provides convenience and cost savings.
Retractably Extendable Trailing Axle
A vehicle suspension assembly includes a trailing axle carried by a frame of the assembly. The frame can retract to a retracted state from an extended state and extend from the retracted state to the extended state. The retraction and extension can occur along a longitudinal axis of the frame. An operator can pivotally raise and lower a free end of frame in the retracted or extended state along an arcuate path when the vehicle suspension assembly connects to a vehicle.
