Vehicle suspension unit
A longitudinal leaf spring device for suspending a motor vehicle body or chassis on a vehicle axle thereof. Leaf spring device including an elongated leaf spring unit, a coupling device connecting the leaf spring unit to the vehicle axle, and suspension unit arranged in a substantially vertical direction between a chassis and the axle. The suspension unit including suspension elements providing a spring-back force in the vertical direction and producing an active connection between the chassis and the axle when the distance between the chassis and axle exceeds a predetermined first deflection depth.
Riding mower trailing arm suspension system
Provided is a trailing arm riding mower suspension system that includes trailing arms adapted to support hydraulic motor units and having leading ends pivotally coupled to a mower frame by way of leading end spherical joints and trailing ends having hydraulic drive unit mounts, where the trailing arms are adapted to pivot about leading end pivot locations defined by the leading end spherical joints.
Loader suspension
The present disclosure includes independent suspension systems or members, as well as wheeled skid steer loaders or other power machines including the same, that couple each wheel to a machine frame using a four-bar linkage, with the four bars including the frame of the machine, an upper control arm, a lower control arm, and a wheel carrier link. Each control arm is pivotally attached to both the machine frame and one end of the wheel carrier link. The four pivots between the control arms and the wheel carrier link are configured to all be contained within cylinder defined by the outer diameter of the wheel rim, allowing for a compact structure with the wheel carrier link and at least part of the control arms being positioned within this volume when the loader is in a resting position.
Spring device for a motor-vehicle wheel suspension
A spring device for a motor vehicle wheel suspension that includes a first leaf spring made of fiber-reinforced plastic and a second leaf spring made of fiber-reinforced plastic. The second leaf spring is shorter than the first leaf spring and together with the first leaf spring forms a V-shaped structure, which, in the region of the joined ends of the V-shape, has a first fastening device for the vehicle-body-side support and at the free ends of the V shape has a second fastening device on the first leaf spring for wheel-side support and a third fastening device on the second leaf spring for vehicle-body-side support.
UNIVERSAL MODULARIZED COIL SPRING BUFFER
A universal modular coil spring buffer having a plurality of modules arranged in a specific configuration adaptable to be inserted in the gap of a coil spring of a vehicle to prevent shocks. The plurality of modules includes a primary module and a plurality of secondary modules. The top surface and the bottom surface of the primary module includes an elongated groove configured to fix and hold the adjacent coils of the coil spring of the vehicle. The secondary module having a first module, a second module and a third module. The different configurations of the primary module and the plurality of secondary modules can be employed for different vehicles with different coil spring dimensions and based on the distance between the adjacent coils. The buffer lessens the compression to the coil spring thereby minimizing oil to leak caused from the shocks.
A SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE BOGIE SUSPENSION ARRANGEMENT
A spring assembly for a vehicle bogie suspension arrangement. The spring assembly includes a set of washers moulded into an elastomer body. The spring assembly has an axial extension in an axial direction and the washers are arranged relative to each other in the axial direction.
At least one of the washers is a spring washer including a spring washer body and at least two spring tongues. Each spring tongue has a spring base connected to the spring washer body and a spring tip distal to the spring base. At least a portion of the spring tongue is located at a non-zero distance from the spring base in the axial direction.
SELF-PROPELLED TANDEM AXLE TRAILER
A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The frame forms an undercarriage chassis which the tandem wheel assembly is positioned there under. The undercarriage chassis includes a rear wheel assembly, a front wheel assembly, and an extension assembly moving the front wheel assembly between trailing position and a self-propelled position. At least one of the wheel assemblies is powered by a selectively engageable drive assembly including a motor, transmission, driveshaft, selectively engageable clutch and hub, to drive the rotation of at least one of the wheels.
SELF-PROPELLED TANDEM AXLE TRAILER
A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The frame forms an undercarriage chassis which the tandem wheel assembly is positioned there under. The undercarriage chassis includes a steerable rear wheel assembly, a steerable front wheel assembly, and an extension assembly moving the front wheel assembly between trailing position and a self-propelled position where the rear wheel assembly and the front wheel assembly are positioned to equally support the undercarriage chassis.
Suspension bumper for the suspension of a vehicle comprising improved progressivity
Suspension bumper for the suspension of a motor vehicle, comprising a molded part made of elastomer being essentially symmetrical in revolution about a main axis of compression, this bumper comprising one end forming a crown comprising bearing faces (48) designed to receive pressure from a moving part, the end crown comprising protuberances (58, 60) that are separated from one another by notches (54) distributed over the perimeter of this crown, these bosses having bearing faces (48) arranged at various heights.
Jounce bumper assemblies as well as gas spring assemblies including same
A jounce bumper assembly dimensioned for securement on or along an associated end member of an associated gas spring assembly. The jounce bumper assembly includes a bumper mount dimensioned for securement to the associated end member. A jounce bumper supported on the bumper mount for axial displacement therealong. A biasing element is disposed peripherally about the bumper mount and positioned axially between the jounce bumper and the associated end member. The biasing element has a fully-compressed, solid height that is operative to maintain the jounce bumper assembly in axially-spaced relation to the associated end member under a full jounce load condition. Gas spring assemblies including such a jounce bumper assembly, and suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.
