SYSTEM THAT PROVIDES SHADE FOR AGRICULTURAL ENVIRONMENTS
Systems that provide shade for agricultural environments are disclosed, including a shade system. The shade system provides a predicted amount of shade and sunshine to an area covered by the shade system. The shade system includes a plurality of elevated rectilinear shade structures, wherein each shade structure of the plurality of elevated rectilinear shade structures has a long side and a short side, the shade structures grouped together, oriented and aligned such that each shade structure of the plurality of elevated rectilinear shade structures has long sides generally oriented north to south and each shade structure of the plurality of elevated rectilinear shade structures has short sides generally oriented east to west.
SYSTEM THAT INCREASES SOLAR ENERGY PRODUCTION FOR LARGE SCALE SOLAR ENERGY INSTALLATIONS
Systems and methods for solar energy systems are disclosed. A solar energy system comprising a plurality of elevated rectilinear solar energy structures covering an area is disclosed. Each of the solar energy structures of the plurality of elevated rectilinear solar energy structures has a long side and a short side. The plurality of elevated rectilinear solar energy structures are grouped together, oriented and aligned such that the long side of each of the solar energy structures is generally parallel and at least one of the plurality of elevated rectilinear solar energy structures has a plurality of solar panels attached in a fixed manner forming a solar energy collection canopy.
WIND-RESISTANT ADJUSTABLE SHADE SHELTER
A portable shade shelter has a plurality of canopies including at least a first canopy and a second canopy. The first canopy is disposed over the second canopy, and the first canopy is capable of being spaced apart from the second canopy in a vertical direction such that air is capable of flowing between the first canopy and the second canopy. Each of the first canopy and the second canopy includes a plurality of openings configured to permit air and light to pass through the respective first canopy and second canopy.
Automated outdoor modular vertical plant cultivation system
An automated outdoor modular vertical plant cultivation system forming a vertical structure is provided. The system includes a plurality of shelves, each shelf having a web and flanges; two posts, each post having a web and flanges. Each shelf of the plurality of shelves is mounted between the two posts with incremental spacing between each adjacent shelf along a vertical length of the two posts. The web of each shelf includes a plurality of openings for retaining planter vessels. The flanges of each shelf retain an embedded structural member. The system includes a fluid circulatory system including shelf irrigation piping extending longitudinally above the web of each shelf; and power or power and data and fluid members for the system distributed from vertical risers located in proximity to the web of the posts, wherein the flanges of the shelves have provisions to retain the fluid circulatory system.
Portable, adjustable, garden shade and weather protection panels
A unit providing garden plant protection from harmful weather conditions and extend the growing season. The unit includes a shade cloth attached to a frame creating a panel that attaches to at least two post, which are attached at opposite ends of the panel for support. Each post has a ground stake attached to the bottom end. The ground stakes allow for easily placing and securing the unit in desired locations and can easily be removed from the ground. The panel can be adjusted to different angles depending on weather protection needs. The post can be raised or lowered as needed. The posts can be detached from the panel for a simplified storage solution.
System for covering flat surfaces
System for covering flat surfaces that is installed on support structures formed by support poles (2) maintained in position by a network of tie-rods (3), both the support poles and the tie-rods being fixed on the surface by means of suitable pins. Said system comprises a plurality of pairs of elongated support elements (6, 6′) having a lower portion positioned on such poles (2) and being joined together in raised position in proximity to their upper end, to form a plurality of pairs of slopes on which protection nets or protection sheets (7) are positioned, which in open position cover the area below the support structure and which in closed position are compact and amassed between adjacent poles (2) of the same row; the movement from the open position to the closed one and vice versa being obtained through the sliding of the sheet along the support elements by means of movement means.
POLYTUNNEL STRUCTURE
A polytunnel structure is described having a plurality of cover support members supported upon respective pairs of legs, a cover member supported by the cover support members, an edge of the cover member being secured to a rotatable beam, and an anchor rope, strap or the like extending over the cover member to anchor the cover member in position, wherein the cover support members are each shaped to define a step between a first section and a second section, wherein when the rotatable beam is supported upon the second section, the anchor rope, strap or the like provides a reduced resistance to movement thereof.
ADJUSTABLE SHADE HOUSE DRIVEN BY PULLEYS
Shade house for casting an adjustable shadow over a surface, the shade house including: at least one frame extending in a longitudinal direction; a first set of photovoltaic panels mounted on the frame substantially orthogonally to a same orientation axis; a second set of opaque panels, for preference photovoltaic, mounted on the frame and movable in longitudinal translation relative to the frame at least between an open configuration, in which the panels are at least partially superposed over the panels in a view along the orientation axis, and a closed configuration, in which the panels at least partially extend beyond the panels in a view along the orientation axis; and an actuation system configured to actuate the second set at least from the open configuration to the closed configuration, and vice versa, the actuation system including pulleys mounted on the frame.
Light-deprivation system
A light-deprivation system includes shades having a fixed end that form a perimeter that defines a growing environment, cables attached to a free end of each shade, a cable guide located near a pinnacle of the light-deprivation system, and a winch to draw the shades. The cables run from the free end of each shade, through the cable guide, to the winch. Operation of the winch draws the shades simultaneously to block substantially all light from sources external to the growing environment from reaching the growing environment.
