An air conditioning device for an electric vehicle includes: a housing having an air conditioning passage connecting an air inlet port to an air discharge port; an evaporator, an air heater, and an electric heater, which are positioned in series in the air conditioning passage in the housing; and a bypass door positioned after the evaporator in the air conditioning passage in the housing and configured to selectively allow some of air passing through the evaporator to bypass the air heater and the electric heater to the air discharge port.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A REFRIGERATION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, HAVING A REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT HAVING A HEAT PUMP FUNCTION
A method for operating a refrigeration system for a vehicle, which refrigeration system includes a refrigerant circuit having a heat pump function. The refrigerant circuit has an exterior heat exchanger, which is operated as a condenser or gas cooler in order to perform a refrigeration system mode or as a heat pump evaporator in order to carry out a heat pump mode. The refrigerant circuit has an interior heating condenser or heating gas cooler for carrying out a heating mode. The interior heating condenser or heating gas cooler is fluidically connected to the exterior heat exchanger, downstream, by a post-heating expansion device in order to carry out a post-heating mode. The opening cross-section of the post-heating expansion device is controlled in accordance with a refrigeration system parameter indicating the required post-heating power.
Air-conditioning apparatus for electric vehicle and method of controlling same
An air-conditioning apparatus for an electric vehicle and a method of controlling the same, may include a heat exchanger performing heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid while the first fluid and the second fluid flow separately from each other therethrough; a heat source connected to the heat exchanger through a line through which the second fluid flows to allow the second fluid to circulate between the heat exchanger and the heat source, and heating or cooling the second fluid; a circulator imparting a circulation force to the second fluid such that the second fluid circulates between the heat exchanger and the heat source; and a controller determining a required flow rate of the second fluid by use of a flow rate of the first fluid flowing through the heat exchanger and controlling the circulator on the basis of the required flow rate of the second fluid.
HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPLYING DIFFERENT MIXED AIR FLOWS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND METHOD FOR MANAGING THE SAME
A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) assembly for supplying different mixed air flows simultaneously is disclosed. The assembly includes first blend kinematics configured for allowing passage of a first air flow, second blend kinematics configured for allowing passage of a second air flow, obtaining means configured to obtain a temperature command indicating a target temperature for two different locations outside the HVAC assembly, identifying means configured to identify a pattern for the first blend kinematics and the second blend kinematics for modifying the first air flow and the second air flow based on the temperature command, and coordinating means configured to coordinate each of the first blend kinematics and the second blend kinematics simultaneously.
Integrated thermal management system
An integrated thermal management system includes a cooling circuit having a component thermal conditioning circuit, a battery thermal conditioning circuit, a cabin heating circuit, a cabin cooling circuit and a valve group configured for selectively interconnecting or isolating the component thermal conditioning circuit, the battery thermal conditioning circuit, the cabin heating circuit and the cabin cooling circuit.
COMPACT DUAL-ZONE CONSOLE HVAC SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILES
A multi-zone climate control system for vehicles includes a front HVAC unit, a powered blower, and a heater core. The front HVAC unit is adapted to condition air provided to first and second front zones. The front HVAC unit further includes a cold air outlet connected to the powered blower. Cold air from the cold air outlet of the front HVAC unit passes through the powered blower and enters the heater core. The heater core is configured to control a temperature of conditioned air supplied to at least one rear zone of the passenger compartment.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM HAVING A HYBRID FILTER
An air conditioning system provides inside air conditioning and performs the function of cleaning the inside air, so that the inside air is maintained to be pleasant. The air cleaning time of cleaning the inside air is decreased, so the possibility of moisture generated on an inside window due to the air cleaning is reduced.
