The present disclosure relates to a plant protection device having two substantially hemispherical portions, two rim portions, each attached to a perimeter of one of the substantially hemispherical, two connectors capable of attaching the two rim portions and the two substantially hemispherical portions to each other in a substantially a spherical shape, a first opening in one of the two substantially hemispherical portions, and a second opening in one of the two substantially hemispherical portions. The first opening and the second opening may be positioned to accommodate a first and a second portion of branch or plant part, respectively.

The moisture sealing flexible plant enclosure includes a flexible plant enclosure, an irrigation system, and a sealing mechanism. The flexible plant enclosure fits over a plant contained in a drainable pot and facilitates a humid environment which helps the plant remain hydrated. The irrigation system allows water to enter the flexible plant enclosure while preventing significant amount of moisture from escaping. The sealing mechanism selectively closes the opening of the flexible plant enclosure thereby creating an airtight seal. This creates a high humidity environment inside the flexible plant enclosure which keeps the plant hydrated.

A shield for protecting a plant, the shield having: a shield assembly apparatus having: a top apparatus portion; a base apparatus portion having a base center tube extending upwards from a floor; an interior space formed by an association of the top apparatus portion with the base apparatus portion; support stick holes in a circular arrangement along an outer edge; grooves within the interior space; wherein each groove is supported by walls, and extends from a support stick hole to the base center tube, and is sloped such that the walls are taller when meeting the base center tube than when meeting the support stick hole; such that the shield assembly apparatus is capable of supporting frame components within the grooves; and wherein the shield is capable of shielding and protecting the plant without any portion of the shield being supported by the plant.

A tamper-resistant shipping container for a live plant that includes a conical shaped lower pot containing the roots of a plant surrounded by planting soil. Disposed inside the lower pot and over the top surface of the soil is a disc-shaped, sealing cover made of neoprene or elastic foam. The sealing cover includes a center bore through which the stem of a plant extends. During assembly, the sealing cover is positioned around the stem and pressed firmly against the soil. Attached to the top edge of the lower pot is a lid made of translucent material with surrounding side walls and a closed upper end. Mounted on the upper end_of the lid is an illuminating light source containing LED bulbs and batteries and a switch. When activated the LED bulbs produces continuous light that shines downward onto the plant during shipment. Attached to the adjoining edges of the lid and the lower pot is a tamper-proof tie.

A plant cover device comprises an enclosure having mesh material to define a plant-receiving cavity. The enclosure includes a first mesh section having a closed top end, and a first perimeter opposite the closed top end, and a second mesh section having a second perimeter attached to the first perimeter of the first mesh section, and a bottom end opposite the closed top end of the first mesh section defining a trunk receiving opening. The plant cover device also includes a support extending vertically from a ground surface through the first and second perimeters and to abut the closed top end of the enclosure.
