FASTENER HOUSING FOR HVAC CASE
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) case including a mount for mounting the HVAC case to a vehicle dash with a fastener. A fastener housing is defined by the mount for receiving the fastener therein. The fastener housing includes an aperture configured to receive a shank of the fastener. The fastener housing further includes a head housing configured to receive a head of the fastener. The head housing includes a locator portion configured to center the head in the head housing and a stress relief portion between the locator portion and the aperture.
Environmental control device mounting frame
Examples provide an attachment frame for combination attachment of environmental control devices. A plurality of non-articulating, rigid segments within a main body bend at various fixed angles. A perpendicular support arm forms an L-shaped attachment at the top of the main body. The support arm mounts one or more lights which attach to a top surface of the support arm. A bottom surface of the support arm mounts a fan or heater above a conveyor or other work area. The attachment frame includes a container holder to hold a water bottle or other container. A mounting plate connected to segment at the bottom of the main body mounts to the trailer conveyor device or other equipment. The attachment frame provides light, ventilation and/or temperature control for users working within an interior of a trailer or other confined spaces.
Strap securement apparatus for class 8 wide-body refrigeration units of refrigerated semi-trailers
A strap securement apparatus for a refrigeration unit of a refrigerated semi-trailer. The apparatus includes: a curbside vertical strap, a roadside vertical strap, and a horizontal strap having connectors at each strap end configured to attach to the refrigeration unit or the front wall of the semi-trailer, also including curbside and roadside anti-vibration pads configured to reduce vibration of the panels and doors of the enclosure of the refrigeration unit. The strap securement apparatus secures the panels and doors of the refrigeration unit, is easy to install and remove from the refrigeration unit, and can include strap adjustment features to fit to a wide variety of refrigeration unit models. The strap securement apparatus can also be partially removed to provide easy access to doors and panels of the refrigeration unit. It is lightweight, can be folded into a compact size, and is easily transported to and from a refrigerated semi-trailer.
Vehicle HVAC System
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle. The HVAC system includes an airflow inlet case defining a fresh air inlet and a recirculation air inlet. The airflow inlet case includes an evaporator and a filter both aligned with an axis of rotation of a blower configured to draw airflow through the airflow inlet case into a heater case. The recirculation air inlet faces the heater case. The airflow inlet case is configured to be mounted on an engine side of a vehicle firewall such that the recirculation air inlet is at the firewall.
Fastening system for a vehicle component housing
A vehicle component housing, such as for an air filtration assembly, includes a first shell having a mount defining a retention feature, and a second shell having a flange. A fastener has a hooked region rotatably supported by the mount and configured to selectively mate with the retention feature to retain the fastener in a disengaged position. The fastener has a locking member configured to mate with the flange to retain the fastener in an engaged position. The fastener may be a spring clip fastener.
LOW-PROFILE MACHINE CABIN
A cabin for a machine is disclosed. The cabin may include a floor, a roof, at least one A-post located at a leading end relative to a forward travel direction of the machine, and a C-post located at a trailing end opposite the at least one A-post. The C-post may have first terminal ends located at the floor and second terminal ends located at the roof. The C-post may include a C-shaped beam having the first terminal ends, and a Y-shaped beam structure having the second terminal ends. The Y-shaped beam structure may extend from the C-shaped beam to the roof. The Y-shaped beam structure may include two spaced beams.
Air conditioner for vehicle
The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle can enhance sealing performance and is resistant to noise and vibration, and prevent penetration of water into the interior of the vehicle by inducing water introduced into a seal into an air-conditioning case by a pressure difference. The air conditioner for a vehicle, which has a structure that a pipe of a heat exchanger penetrates through a dash panel (150) of the vehicle, includes: a bracket (140) for inserting and fixing the pipe; and a seal (160) for fixing the bracket (140) between an air-conditioning case and the seal to get in contact with the air-conditioning case.
Vehicle Under Mounted HVAC Container
A container for mounting under a vehicle floor, the container comprising: a plurality of side walls, wherein the plurality of side walls have a plurality of openings; a top wall is attached to a top portion of the plurality of side walls, wherein the top wall is attached to the vehicle floor; a removable floor is attached to a bottom portion of the plurality of side walls; a cavity defined by the plurality of side walls, the top wall, and the floor, wherein the cavity contains an HVAC apparatus. The container further comprising: a plurality of ducts comprising a plurality of first ends connected to the plurality of openings in the plurality of side walls; and, a plurality of second ends connected to a plurality of outputs; wherein air from the HVAC apparatus flows through the plurality of ducts from the plurality of openings to the plurality of outputs.
Vehicle air conditioner
A vehicle air conditioner includes an air-conditioning case having a drain hole through which an air passage communicates with an outside of a vehicle compartment, a heat exchanger disposed inside the air passage, and a seal member. The seal member is held between a dash panel and a seal wall of the air-conditioning case. The seal member has a through hole, and closes a through hole of the dash panel. The vehicle air conditioner includes a refrigerant pipe and a pressure reducing valve. The first case part and the second case part are fitted with each other in a fitting part below which, in the vertical direction, the air-conditioning case has a communication hole through which an outside of the air-conditioning case communicates with the air passage.
SPLIT HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING (HVAC) ASSEMBLY
A split heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) assembly for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The split HVAC includes a first sub-assembly comprising an evaporator and a first airflow space, a second sub-assembly comprising a second airflow space, a single sealing element located between a wall and one of the first sub-assembly or the second-sub-assembly, and a first interfacing element that directly connects the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly. The single sealing element and the first interfacing element prevent any airflow leakage from both the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly, and one of the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly extends partially into the other of the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly.
