Heat exchanger unit with removable cassettes for air conditioning in motor vehicles
A heat exchanger unit that enables a quick interchanging of function, form and size of the different heat exchanger modules. The interchanging may be possible in regard to the sequence of the individual heat exchanger modules. The heat exchanger unit in includes inserts configured such that appropriately configured cassettes can be inserted, and an inner shape of the cassettes is configured so that different heat exchanger modules can be accommodated therein. The cassettes are thus designed specific to the heat exchanger, while the outer shape of all cassettes conforms to the shape of the uniformly configured inserts.
Roof Top Air Conditioner Unit, Methods for Producing, Assembling and Installing the Roof Top Air Conditioner Unit and Vehicle with the Roof Top Air Conditioner Unit
A roof top air conditioner unit for a vehicle, in particular a recreational vehicle, wherein the roof top air conditioner at least in part is made of expanded polypropylene (EPP). At least one stabilizing and/or connecting element of the roof top air conditioner unit is mold in the section of the roof top air conditioner unit made of EPP. Furthermore, the present invention refers to a method for producing, assembling and installing such roof top air conditioner units and a vehicle having such a roof top air conditioner assembly.
Heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning unit casing for motor vehicle passenger compartment
The invention relates to a motor vehicle passenger compartment heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning unit casing comprising at least: —an induction chamber (2) the peripheral wall of which forms a volute housing (12) and which is intended to accommodate an impeller of a motor-fan unit, —a distribution chamber (4) connected to an outlet (3) of the induction chamber (2), —distribution channels (5) connected to an outlet of the distribution chamber (4). According to the invention, the casing comprises an internal partition element (15) of which one face forms at least part of the volute housing (12) and of which the opposite face to the volute housing forms one wall of at least one distribution channel (5).
Integrated HVAC case and pipe retention feature
A heating, ventilation, and air cooling (HVAC) assembly including a blower subassembly and an HVAC subassembly. The blower subassembly includes a first heater core pipe retention member. The HVAC subassembly includes a second heater core pipe retention member. The first and the second heater core pipe retention members are configured to secure at least one heater core pipe therebetween.
Rear air conditioner for vehicle
A rear air conditioner for a vehicle including a discharge module mounted at an air outflow port of an air-conditioning case and having a discharge case and a rotary mode door; two face vents formed at both side walls of the discharge case; a floor vent formed at the center of the discharge case; and an air mixing zone formed inside the rotary mode door, thereby reducing the size of the air conditioner because a plurality of the vents are intensively arranged in the discharge case, enhancing installability due to the modulated components, reducing a temperature difference of the air discharged to the left and right sides inside the vehicle due to an improved mixability. The inside of the rotary mode door can be utilized as the air mixing zone. The degrees of opening of the face vents and the floor vent are controlled by the single mode door.
Integrated heat pump bundled module mounting manifold
A vehicle HVAC system including a heat pump system. The heat pumps system including a refrigerant module mounting manifold, the manifold including a first plate and a second plate. The first plate and the second plate are configured to couple together such that together they define a plurality of channels for directing the flow of refrigerant through the heat pump system. One or more auxiliary modules are fluidly coupled to the refrigerant module mounting manifold.
Central Console Unit for a Vehicle and Vehicle Having Such a Central Console Unit
A central console unit for a vehicle includes a first partial unit that is fixedly connectable to the vehicle and a second partial unit shiftably connected in relation to the first partial unit to the first partial unit. The first partial unit has a first air guiding arrangement that is connectable to an air-conditioning device of the vehicle. The second partial unit has a second air guiding arrangement which is shiftably connected to the first air guiding arrangement at least in sections along the first air guiding arrangement. The second partial unit forms a central console for the vehicle.
Air Temperature-Controllable Module
An air temperature-controllable module, for a temperature-controllable storage unit, having an air temperature-controllable unit including a useful air temperature-controllable region, a waste air temperature-controllable region, and at least one thermoelectric device including a useful air side and a waste air side, the useful air side connected to the useful air temperature-controllable region and the waste air side connected to the waste air temperature-controllable region, a useful air path for a useful air flow extending from a useful air inlet to a useful air outlet and the useful air temperature-controllable region of the air temperature-controllable unit connecting to the useful air outlet, and a waste air path for a waste air flow extending from a waste air inlet to a waste air outlet and connecting the waste air temperature-controllable region of the air temperature-controllable unit to the waste air outlet.
Method and apparatus for cooling and heating in a vehicle
According to some embodiments, there is provided an air conditioning system for a vehicle. The vehicle may be a locomotive. The air conditioning system includes a combination module for mounting in or on a vehicle. The combination module includes a condenser coil and a compressor assembly. The compressor assembly includes an electric motor. The combination module may be mounted to cover a hole in an outer wall or floor of the vehicle, such that air enters the hole ventilates the condenser coil. The system also includes at least one air handler for mounting in a cab of the vehicle, remote from combination module. Each air handler comprises a respective evaporator coil. A combination module including a compressor assembly is also provided. A method for installing the combination module is also provided.
Heat exchanger module and a housing therefor
A housing for configuring a compact heat exchanger module includes separate fluid flow conduits integrally formed on at least one wall thereof and connected to at least one inlet and at least one outlet of at least one heat exchanger disposed within the housing. The separate fluid flow conduits configures at least a part of the heat exchange circuit that facilitates passage of fluid cooled/heated by the at least one heat exchanger through at least one region to be cooled/heated to extract/reject heat there-from/thereto and return heated/cooled fluid back to the at least one heat exchanger for cooling/heating thereof.
