Sustainable washer fluid supply for a vehicle
The present disclosure redirects unused condensed liquid water from the HVAC system to the washer fluid system such that the washer fluid tank, which may be relatively small and light, does not have to be topped-off frequently. The washer fluid tank is constantly refilled, and the washer fluid supply does not have to be replenished with clean drinking water as often, preserving this important environmental resource. Vehicle sensor data and/or a mobile application usage algorithm control filling of the washer fluid tank, and optionally periodically add anti-freeze from an adjacent reservoir when necessary to maintain an operable washer fluid system even below 0 degrees C.
ARRANGEMENT FOR SEALING FUNCTIONAL UNIT INTERFACES
An arrangement for sealing functional unit interfaces includes a functional unit, an interface, and a sealing element. The interface has a first main surface, a second main surface, and an opening. The second main surface has a clamping section enclosing the opening. The functional unit has a front face with a counter-clamping section opposite the clamping section. The sealing element has a sealing body and a support element at least partially arranged within the sealing body. The sealing body has a first section clamped between the clamping section and the counter-clamping section. The opening is closed by a second section of sealing body, which is at least partially arranged between the opening and the front face. The support element is partially arranged in the first section and partially in the second section of the sealing body. The support element and the sealing body consist of different materials.
MOTOR VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONING LINE VALVE ARRANGEMENT
A motor vehicle air-conditioning line valve arrangement includes a line valve having an air-conditioning line body which is of substantially closed design in a transverse plane, and a fiber nonwoven arranged on an inside in the air-conditioning line body and having a nonwoven mat to which a large number of nonwoven fibers are fixed. The nonwoven fibers are fixed to the nonwoven mat at one end and configured to be electrostatically charged by the nonwoven mat. An electrical charge generator is electrically connected to the nonwoven mat and configured to electrostatically charge the fiber nonwoven, so that the electrostatically charged nonwoven fibers straighten toward a center of the air-conditioning line body in such a way that they close an open flow cross section of the air-conditioning line body.
Heating and cooling system for a vehicle including a thermophysical battery
A heating and cooling system for a vehicle included within a radiator module having a plurality of fins. At least two thermophysical batteries are provided, each including an adsorption bed unit and an evaporator condenser unit. At least one upper coolant line extends along the adsorption bed unit of each of the thermophysical batteries and is configured to be connected to a source of waste heat of the vehicle for transferring heat from the source of waste heat to a coolant contained in the coolant line and to the adsorption bed units to recharge the adsorption bed unit. At least one distribution element configured in discharge mode to convey heated fluids from adjacent the adsorption bed units or cooled fluids from adjacent to the evaporator condenser units to another region of the vehicle.
Tube made of elastomeric material for a system which is on-board of a motor-vehicle
A tube of elastomeric material for an air conditioning system or for other system which is on-board of a motor-vehicle is intended to be fitted over a metal connecting element and to be locked onto the latter by means of a crimping operation that envisages the clamping around the tube of a metal clamping element. The tube includes at least one body made of polymeric elastomeric material supplemented with carbon-based nanofillers wherein an outer surface with one or more piezo-resistive areas is provided, where the polymeric material supplemented with carbon-based nanofillers has been made locally piezo-resistive by means of laser irradiation. The piezo-resistive areas arranged on the body of polymeric elastomeric material of the tube can be used for verifying the correct execution of the crimping operation.
DRAIN HOSE AND DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION METHOD
A drain hose includes a hose main body into which a drain pipe is inserted and a circumferential rib formed on an outer peripheral surface of the hose main body to be away from an extremity of the hose main body and extend in a circumferential direction of the hose main body. The drain hose includes an axial rib formed on the outer peripheral surface of the hose main body to be positioned closer to the extremity of the hose main body than the circumferential rib and extend in an axial direction of the hose main body.
SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING AND SEALING FLEXIBLE AND RIGID PIPES UNDER HIGH PRESSURE
A system for connecting and sealing flexible and rigid pipes under high pressure comprises a flexible pipe, rigid pipes, and transition connectors, wherein two ends of each transition connector are respectively connected with the flexible pipe and one rigid pipe, external sides of the flexible pipe and the transition connectors are coated with a rubber layer, and buckling sleeves are buckled on the rubber layer outside the transition connectors. Compared with the prior, the system can greatly improve the sealing performance of the flexible pipe and the rigid pipes, and thus can be used under high-low temperature and high-pressure atmospheres and be applied to air-conditioning pipes of new-energy vehicles.
Heating and cooling module
A heating and cooling module for controlling the temperature of at least two coolant circuits, having an evaporator region and a condenser region. The evaporator region has a first flow section through which a first coolant can flow, and the condenser region has a second flow section through which a second coolant can flow. The heating and cooling module has a third flow section through which a refrigerant can flow. The evaporator region and the condenser region are arranged on a common base plate which has the fluid inlets and the fluid outlets for the first coolant, the second coolant, and the refrigerant. The base plate has flow channels, through each of which one of the coolants or the refrigerant can flow. The evaporator region and the condenser region are fluidically connected to the respective fluid inlets and the respective fluid outlets of the base plate via the flow channels.
SUPPORT DEVICE AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A support device secures first tubes and second tubes to a vehicle body. The first tubes and the second tubes extend outward from an air conditioning case of a vehicle air conditioning system. The support device is outside the air conditioning case. The support device includes a first bracket in contact with the first tubes, and a second bracket in contact with the second tubes. The support device includes a common bracket coupled to both of the first bracket and the second bracket. The common bracket and the first bracket are in contact with the first tubes from opposite sides, holding the first tubes therebetween. The common bracket and the second bracket are in contact with the refrigerant tubes from opposite sides, holding the refrigerant tubes therebetween.
