Systems and methods are provided for controlling a HVAC system of a vehicle. An exemplary method may comprise: collecting data describing environmental measurements and one or more states of the HVAC system; predicting one or more target values by inputting the collected data into one or more inference models that include a personal inference model, wherein the personal inference model is used to predict a personal target value for the vehicle or a user of the vehicle; and outputting the one or more target values including the personal target value for the vehicle or the user of the vehicle to control the HVAC system of the vehicle.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER AND VEHICLE ON-BOARD CONTROLLER
20240066946 · 2024-02-29 ·

The present disclosure relates to a method and device for controlling vehicle air conditioner, and a vehicle on-board controller. The vehicle on-board controller acquires the target command, the target command is generated and sent by the terminal at the target time according to the target pre-control strategy. The target pre-control strategy is generated according to the key data and confirmed by the user. Therefore, the vehicle on-board controller can control the vehicle on-board battery to provide the target input power for the vehicle air conditioner within the preset length of time according to the target command, so that the vehicle air conditioner may precool or preheat for the preset length of time from the target time.

Vehicle control device

A boundary is at an engine drive restricted zone where operation of the internal combustion engine is restricted. An adjusting device adjusts of at least one of the temperature inside the cabin using electric power, the humidity inside the cabin using electric power, or the air pollution degree inside the cabin. In response to a prediction that (1) a host vehicle will enter the inside of the engine drive restricted zone and that (2a) the time period for the host vehicle to reach the boundary is within a preset time period or that (2b) the distance between the host vehicle and the boundary is within a preset distance, the value of at least one of the temperature inside the cabin, the humidity inside the cabin, and the air pollution degree inside the cabin is reduced before the host vehicle enters the inside of the engine drive restricted zone.

Method, computer program and system for improving a user experience

Embodiments relate to a method, computer program and system for improving a user experience. The computer-implemented method for improving a user experience inside a vehicle comprises determining an environmental context inside the vehicle, wherein the environmental context is assigned a plurality of actions, which influences the environmental context. Further, the method comprises choosing at least one action of the plurality of actions for improving the user experience.

The energy management program applications and modules are responsible for facilitating customer access to the system, configuring energy management devices, and collecting, storing, and analyzing energy management data collected from the plurality of sites. The energy management system is adaptable to a wide variety of energy usage requirements and enables customers to configure energy management devices at customer sites using scheduling templates, to define and customize site groupings for device configuration and data analysis purposes, and to request and view various statistical views of collected energy usage data.

Method for controlling a thermal comfort control system for ride share vehicles

A method for controlling a thermal comfort control system for ride share vehicles includes providing a plurality of occupant seats in a vehicle cabin and controlling a cabin set temperature using a cabin comfort control system configured to adjust a plurality of HVAC functions. At least one thermal comfort parameter is adjusted at a number of the plurality of occupant seats using at least one seat comfort control system. Adjusting the at least one thermal comfort parameter causes the cabin control module to adjust the set temperature of the vehicle cabin.

Remote control of an HVAC system that uses a common temperature setpoint for both heat and cool modes

An HVAC system includes an HVAC unit having a cooling mode and a heating mode for conditioning the air in an inside space, and a programmable thermostat located remotely from the HVAC unit. The HVAC unit may have an onboard controller configured to control when the HVAC unit is in the cooling mode or heating mode, and whether the HVAC unit is activated or not. In some cases, the onboard controller of the HVAC unit may use a common temperature setpoint when controlling in the cooling mode and the heating mode. The programmable thermostat may have a programmable schedule with a plurality of time periods, where each time period has a heating setpoint and a cooling setpoint separated by a dead band. The onboard controller of the HVAC unit may be configured to accept input signals from the remotely located thermostat. The remotely located thermostat may send one or more input signals to the onboard controller of the HVAC unit in accordance with the programmable schedule, where the one or more input signals cause the onboard controller of the HVAC unit to set the HVAC unit to a particular one of the cooling mode and the heating mode, and to activate the HVAC unit so as to condition the air in the inside space in the particular one of the cooling mode and the heating mode.

Load management to extend electric vehicle range

A vehicle includes a controller that prompts a user to confirm a willingness to accept a reduced maximum acceleration or speed responsive to user confirmation of a desire to increase an electric drive range by a user selected amount. The controller further operates a propulsion system with the reduced maximum acceleration or speed to increase the electric drive range responsive to user confirmation of the willingness.
