VEHICULAR HEAT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A vehicular heat management system includes a refrigerant circulation line configured to generate hot energy or cold energy depending on a flow direction of a refrigerant, a heater core side coolant circulation line configured to transfer refrigerant heat generated in the refrigerant circulation line to a heater core to heat a passenger compartment, and a battery side coolant circulation line configured to receive coolant heat of the heater core side coolant circulation line via a coolant and then circulate the coolant through a battery to preheat the battery.
METHOD FOR THE START-UP OF AN AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM, COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM, AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The commissioning of an air conditioning system requires a series of manual steps, which leads to inefficient commissioning. A method is therefore provided for commissioning an air conditioning system of a vehicle, including the following: a) Reading in a target data record indicating a target vehicle state; b) Recording an actual data record indicating an actual vehicle state by measuring at least one signal and/or communicating with at least one vehicle component; c) Comparing the actual vehicle state with a target vehicle state; d) Activating at least one function of the air conditioning system only if the actual vehicle state corresponds to the target vehicle state.
Method and system for heating a passenger compartment of an electric vehicle, and electric vehicle implementing such a method or system
A method for heating the passenger compartment of an electric vehicle, including the following steps: pre-heating at least one part of the passenger compartment by at least one electric heater when the vehicle is connected to an external energy source, and heating the at least one part of the passenger compartment by a combustion heater when the vehicle is in use. Also provided is a system implementing such a method and an electric vehicle, in particular of the electric bus type, utilizing such a method or such a system.
Method and apparatus for operating a vehicle
A method, apparatus, system, vehicle, and/or computer program provides that one or more components of a vehicle are operated as a function of a predetermined pick-up time of the vehicle at a pick-up position of a parking facility in such a way that the vehicle exhibits one or more predetermined states at the pick-up position at the predetermined pick-up time.
Fluid heating system
A fluid heating system intended for use in recreational vehicles that circulates glycol in a system loop with various heat sources and other devices that distribute this heat to an enclosure or a domestic water system. It has a system controller operationally connected to a remove tactile display unit that allows for the input of the operation parameters to the system controller. The control unit is operatively connected for data and signal transfer to the user's cell phone via a non-internet connected localized wi-fi network. This provides the user with system status information, fault codes and allows selected operational functions and resets to be remotely initiated that heretofore required local manipulation. It also incorporates altimeter to allow the furnace controller to maximize its burn efficiency.
Composite Auxiliary Diesel Heater and Method of Operating Same
An auxiliary heater with a casing enclosing internal components which components include a heat exchanger separate from and outside the coolant tank and wherein two coolant loops each have their own coolant pumps and wherein a potable water loop exchanges heat with coolant within the heat exchanger. A control circuit provides enhanced coolant flow through the heat exchanger when the call for hot water is significant without significantly reducing the temperature of the hot water being used. A level switch within the coolant tank prevents coolant pumps from running without pump coolant and a filling and air purging operation improves the initial filling operation of the auxiliary heater with coolant and also prevents the coolant pump from running dry. A user switch may dedicate the hot coolant from the coolant tank to either the production of hot potable water or it may share both hot water and space heating.
Vehicle comprising air conditioning apparatus
A vehicle includes an air conditioning apparatus configured to be capable of executing ventilation operation to supply air outside the vehicle into a passenger compartment, and cooling operation to supply cool air into the passenger compartment; and a control unit that causes the air conditioning apparatus to execute remote air conditioning in which air conditioning is performed while a user is not in the vehicle, and operated air conditioning in which air conditioning is performed by the user's operation while the user is in the vehicle. The control unit controls the air conditioning apparatus such that a condition in which the ventilation operation is executed in the remote air conditioning is more relaxed than a condition in which the ventilation operation is executed in the operated air conditioning. In this way, power consumption by pre-air conditioning can be reduced.
CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
A control device for controlling a device provided in a vehicle is provided. The device includes a starting unit capable of starting the device, an identification unit configured to identify a place of stay where an occupant of the vehicle spends time after getting out of the vehicle, an estimation unit configured to estimate a stay period of the occupant at the place of stay, and a determination unit configured to determine, based on the stay period, a scheduled time at which the starting unit is to start the device before the occupant gets into the vehicle.
Block heater control assembly
A system for use with a block heater connected to an engine for pre-start heating of the engine. The system includes a power source, a relay assembly coupled to the power source, a temperature sensor, and a controller. The relay assembly, when closed, electrically connects the power source to the block heater, to thereby energize the block heater to heat the engine. The temperature sensor senses an ambient temperature indicative of a temperature of the engine. The controller is programmed to selectively activate the relay assembly to energize the block heater such that the engine coupled to the block heater is heated from the sensed ambient temperature to a target temperature at approximately a target time.
