Vehicle air-conditioning system and railroad vehicle equipped with same

An air-conditioning system in vehicle is installed in a vehicle in which a vehicle body center position and an aisle center position are different, and has an air conditioner. The air-conditioning system in vehicle has first and second outlets arranged on both sides of the vehicle in a vehicle width direction and discharging conditioned air having substantially the same air volume into an interior, and an air regulating member setting a merging position of air flows discharged from the first and second outlets to the position where the line segment connecting the vehicle body center position and the aisle center position is internally divided at a ratio of between 20:80 and 86:14.

VEHICLE SENSOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL

A vehicle includes an exterior surface, a sensor disposed on the exterior surface, a passenger cabin fixed relative to the exterior surface, a duct receiving airflow from the passenger cabin, and a valve disposed in the duct and movable between a first position directing the airflow to the sensor and a second position directing the airflow outside the vehicle.

Vehicle Safety Assembly
20190193518 · 2019-06-27 ·

A vehicle safety assembly for protecting an unattended occupant in a vehicle from excessive temperatures includes a housing that maybe mounted on a roof of a vehicle. A fan is positioned within the housing and the fan urges air when the fan is turned on. The fan ventilates an interior of the vehicle to reduce a temperature of the interior of the vehicle. In this way an unattended occupant from is inhibited from being injured by excessive temperatures in the vehicle. A temperature sensor is positioned within the vehicle and the temperature sensor is in thermal communication with the interior of the vehicle. The temperature sensor is electrically coupled to the fan and the temperature sensor turns the fan on when the temperature sensor senses a trigger temperature.

Vehicle Roof Fan

A vehicle roof fan for providing air conditioning to a user of a vehicle. The vehicle roof fan may include a plurality of individually controlled fans. The apparatus includes power management features to limit the power consumption, such as a user presence detector and/or battery threshold monitoring. The plurality of fans may be associated with one or more optical sensors that each control the operation of one or more of the fans based upon the presence of a user. The air conditioning apparatus may also include heating and/or cooling components to modify the air temperature from the apparatus.

Air Cooling System for Electronic Spinning Assembly

Example embodiments relate to an air cooling system for an electronic spinning assembly. An example embodiment includes a plurality of vanes coupled to a static base. A vane cover is rotatably coupled to the static base. The vane cover includes at least one air inlet, at least one air duct extending from the vane cover, and at least one choke point disposed in the cover. The at least one choke point is configured to increase a pressure of the airflow.

ROOF MODULE COMPRISING A COOLING MECHANISM

A roof module for forming a vehicle roof on a motor vehicle, the roof module having a panel component which at least partially forms a roof skin of the vehicle roof, the roof skin serving as an outer sealing surface of the roof module, at least one environment sensor configured to send and/or receive electromagnetic signals through a roof see-through area to detect a vehicle environment, and a cooling mechanism having a cooling-air inlet, a filter member and at least one cooling channel, the cooling mechanism being configured to dissipate waste heat emitted by the environment sensor and/or ambient heat introduced from outside from the environment sensor. The filter member has a conical and/or pot-shaped shape and is provided at the cooling-air inlet and is configured to prevent and/or reduce an entry of foreign particles and/or liquid into an interior of the at least one cooling channel.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLE VENT TOP COVER STILL CAPABLE OF VENTILATION IN CLOSED STATE OF TOP COVER

A vehicle vent top cover capable of ventilation in a closed position. The top cover includes a top plate having side protection plates extending therefrom. The side protection plates have terminal edges that are offset from the top plate. A duct is contained within the top cover. The duct has an inlet for receiving air from within a vehicle to which it is attached and an outlet that is located between the terminal edges of the terminal edges of the side protection plates and the top plate.

ROOF ASSEMBLY FOR A CAB OF A WORK VEHICLE WITH INTERNAL STORAGE AND RELATED COOLING SYSTEM FOR HEAT-GENERATING COMPONENTS STORED THEREIN
20240181844 · 2024-06-06 ·

In one aspect, a roof assembly for an operator's cab of a work vehicle includes internal storage for storing one or more heat-generating components and incorporates a cooling system for directing an airflow through the roof assembly for cooling such components.

Air treatment system with pressure balance

A selective filtration system for an operator cab attached to an agricultural vehicle. A HVAC unit supplies conditioned air to an operator space selectively from a CAT 4 filter and a CAT 2 filter. A pressurization blower and two way valve controls flow from the CAT 4 filter to the HVAC unit. Control of flow or isolation of the CAT 2 filter is provided by pressure variations within the system. The CAT 4 filter and CAT 2 filter are isolated from the ambient when they are not in use by valves. A calibrated orifice enables positive pressurization to the CAT 2 filter to hold the valves closed.

AIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR CARGO SPACE OF A VEHICLE
20190143782 · 2019-05-16 ·

A cargo space air management system for a vehicle includes a body defining one or more cavities therein and one or more ports configured to enable fluid communication through the one or more ports into at least one of the one or more cavities. The body is configured to attach to be placed in a cargo space of the vehicle, and the body is deployable from a first state to a second state, wherein in the second state the body covers a portion of the cargo space and forms an air filled cavity within the body.
