Liquid-diverting pressure relief assembly
A pressure relief assembly includes a housing defining an air passage chamber having at least one opening, and a flap secured within the air passage chamber. The flap is configured to move into an open position to expose the opening(s) to relieve air pressure. At least one liquid diverter extends from the housing. The liquid diverter(s) is configured to direct moisture away from the flap.
AIR VENTING SYSTEM AND VENTING METHOD FOR A TRUCK
An air venting system includes, among other things. A box of a truck. The box provides a cargo area. The system further includes a cab back panel of the truck. The cab back panel has an exposed section that provides a front wall of the cargo area. The cab back panel has a hidden section outside the cargo area. An air extractor is held within the hidden section of the cab back panel.
COVER FOR A PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY OF A VEHICLE, A PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY HAVING SUCH A COVER, AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CORRESPONDING COVER
A cover (1) for a pressure relief valve assembly (2) of a vehicle, wherein the cover (1) comprises a base body (19) made of a sound-absorbing material which is uniform in terms of the material composition, wherein the base body as such is designed to be self-supporting and is in particular connectable to an edge region (4) of a pressure relief valve assembly (2).
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
The present disclosure provides a pressure relief valve configured to adjust a pressure of a vehicle cabin. The pressure relief valve includes: a housing, a passage opening cover, and an implementing mechanism. The housing is provided with a passage therein, the passage is configured to be capable of bringing the vehicle cabin into fluid communication with an outside atmosphere, and the passage has a passage opening. The passage opening cover is configured to be movable between an open position and a closed position, the passage opening is open when the passage opening cover is in the open position, and the passage opening is closed when the passage opening cover is in the closed position. The implementing mechanism is configured to drive the passage opening cover such that the passage opening cover is movable between the open position and the closed position. According to the present disclosure, signal information of pressure in a vehicle cabin, wading and dust density is obtained, and a traditional rotary opening mode of the pressure relief valve is changed into a linear opening mode through motor driving, such that electrification of the pressure relief valve is achieved, noise from the outside of the vehicle is reduced, and waterproof and dustproof performances of the pressure relief valve are improved.
Pressure relief assembly having a liquid-diverting cover
A pressure relief assembly (100) is configured to be secured to a portion of a vehicle. The pressure relief assembly (100) includes a pressure relief device (102) and a liquid-diverting cover (104) including at least one liquid diversion vane (150) that defines at least one air outlet (152). The liquid diversion vane(s) (150) is configured to block liquid from passing into an interior cabin of the vehicle. The air outlet(s) (152) allows airflow from within the vehicle to pass out of the interior cabin of the vehicle.
Ventilation valve for a vehicle
A ventilation valve for ventilating the interior of a vehicle includes a valve frame with at least one through opening, and also at least one ventilation flap which is mounted on the valve frame and is pivotable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the at least one ventilation flap closes the at least one through opening in the closed position and opens up the at least one through opening in the open position. A resetting feature is provided for pivoting the at least one ventilation flap back out of the open position into the closed position.
AUTOMATIC VENTILATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PURGING AN INTERIOR SPACE OF A VEHICLE DURING SHIPPING
A ventilation system and method of purging volatile organic compounds from an interior space of the vehicle. The ventilation space including an air extractor connected to a vehicle wall and having an interior side within the interior space defined by the vehicle wall, a fan attached to the interior side, and a controller configured to operate in a shipping mode to activate the fan to generate ventilation flow through the air extractor.
CABIN AIR EXTRACTION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR A VEHICLE
A cabin air extraction assembly for a vehicle that utilizes an air extractor input port disposed in the rear portion of the cabin of a vehicle that conduits cabin air to a snorkel assembly disposed within a sealed or substantially sealed body panel or side structure near the rear wheel well of the vehicle, for example. This snorkel assembly includes a one-way pressure relief valve. Because the snorkel assembly is positioned such that it is not prone to obstruction or the intake of water in a wading application, there is no risk of water intrusion into the cabin of the vehicle, even if the bottom portion of the snorkel assembly is disposed below the wading line during vehicle operation. Thus, the cabin air extraction assembly and associated method promote passenger comfort by allowing the HVAC system of a vehicle to be operated using fresh, outside air without cabin pressure problems, even during a wading application.
Pressure Relief Valve with Installation Indicator
A pressure vent valve for ventilation of the interior of a motor vehicle, with a frame with at least one sealing surface and with at least one flexible valve flap mounted on the frame. In an idle position, the valve flap assembly abuts the sealing surface to prevent airflow through the pressure vent valve. When a sufficient pressure occurs, the valve flap assembly assumes an open position lifted from the sealing surface to allow airflow through the pressure vent valve. The pressure vent valve further includes an installation indicator formed in or on the frame to ensure alignment during installation.
MOBILITY HAVING NEGATIVE PRESSURE SPACE AND PRESSURE CONTROL METHOD
In a mobility including a negative pressure space and method for controlling a pressure of the mobility in which the mobility is used a general vehicle in normal times, and when a special situation such as transferring infectious disease patients occurs, an internal space includes a general space and a negative pressure space by a partition wall, so that the infectious disease patients are safely transferred through the negative pressure space and the spread of infectious diseases is prevented. As a result, the usability of a vehicle is increased, and it is possible to respond to such special situation.
