Bullet proof blinds
An anti-ballistic protection system for protecting a space in a building or vehicle comprising a protective blind including plurality of slats or a sheet of a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material which are secured together using a glue, heat weld, or stitching. The system may include an automated control system operably configured to cause a change in state of the blind from a retracted state to a protective deployed state, which may include a sensing system operably configured to detect a threatening event, wherein the sensing system upon sensing the threatening event triggers the blind to transition from the retracted state to the deployed protective state such that in the protective state, the blinds are adapted to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic objects such as bullets.
VEHICLE CURTAIN CAPABLE OF BEING USED IN DOUBLE-LAYER
A vehicle curtain capable of being used in double-layer includes an outer mesh cloth, an interlayer plain cloth, and an inner covering plain cloth. The outer mesh cloth and the inner covering plain cloth are respectively arranged on an outer side and an inner side of the interlayer plain cloth, and an edge of the outer mesh cloth is disposed with several mounting connection blocks. The interlayer plain cloth includes an upper interlayer plain cloth and a lower interlayer plain cloth, the upper interlayer plain cloth is sewn and connected to the outer mesh cloth, and the lower interlayer plain cloth and the upper interlayer plain cloth are movably connected. By using a double-layer structure, a user can open and close the lower interlayer plain cloth through a guide rail or a zipper to realize semi shading and full shading functions of a vehicle window thereby greatly improving user's experience.
Vent shade assembly
A vent shade assembly for a recreational vehicle ceiling vent comprises a vent shade outer frame having an inner flange, a vent shade inner frame having an inner flange, and a pair of side walls disposed between the inner flange of each of the outer and inner frame to form a slot. A movable pleated shade element disposed within the slot is operable between a closed position and a plurality of positions there between. A first and a second shade string is disposed at least partially alongside and parallel to a first and second of the pair of side walls, respectively, and proximate a first and a second side edge of the movable pleated shade element, respectively. A portion of the inner flange of the vent shade outer frame supports the first and second side edge of the movable pleated shade element.
WINDOW OR DOOR COVERING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A combination of a window covering assembly and a window frame is for a vehicle. The window frame has an outer face including at least one groove having a depth direction in a direction substantially orthogonal to a pane of the window frame. The window covering assembly is provided with one or more snaps for snap-fixing the window covering assembly to the at least one groove of the window frame.
Vent shade assembly
A vent shade assembly for a recreational vehicle ceiling vent comprises a vent shade outer frame having an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter defining a first opening coincident with the recreational vehicle ceiling vent. A pair of shade strings are disposed on opposing sides of the vent shade outer frame and proximate the inner perimeter of the vent shade outer frame. A movable pleated shade element having a deployed shape substantially conforming to the inner perimeter of the vent shade outer frame is operable between a closed position substantially occluding the first opening of the vent shade outer frame and an open position, and the one of the pair of shade strings supports one of a pair of opposing side edges of the movable pleated shade element as the movable pleated shade element is operated between the closed position and the open position.
Window or door covering assembly for a vehicle
Disclosed is a combination of a window covering assembly and a window frame of a vehicle. The window frame has an outer face including at least one groove having a depth direction in a direction substantially orthogonal to a pane of the window frame. The window covering assembly is provided with one or more snap elements for snap-fixing the window covering assembly to the at least one groove of the window frame.
Apparatus and method for shielding an occupant from sunlight passing through side windows of a motor vehicle
An apparatus for shielding an occupant of a motor vehicle from sunlight passing through the side windows of the motor vehicle includes a guideway and a shade. The guideway includes a first open lateral end and a second open lateral end. The shade is displaceable along the guideway between a first use position projecting from the first open lateral end, a second use position projecting form the second open lateral end and an intermediate stowed position. A method of shielding an occupant of a motor vehicle from sunlight passing through a first side window and a second side window is also described.
DEVICE FOR OPERATING A SYSTEM FOR COVERING AN OPENING AND COVERING UNIT USING SUCH A DEVICE
Disclosed is a device for operating a system for covering an opening, including a movable end moving between retracted and extended positions in which the system covers at least part of the opening. The device includes: a flexible push strip with first and second ends, connecting, close to the first end, to the movable end of the covering system; a motor driving the push strip, moving the first end between proximal and distal positions. The push strip transmits a push force to the movable end of the covering system. The device also includes two parallel guide rails on top of or facing one another, in which first and second ends of the push strip travel. The drive includes a drive and idler wheel around which the push strip winds, so the push strip is partly in the first guide rail and partly in the second guide rail.
Collapsible cover for vehicle window or door
An apparatus for partially covering a door or window opening in a vehicle comprises a collapsible cover. The cover may include a plurality of movable members adapted for moving along a support to at least partially expose the door or window opening. A plurality of movable members in the form of panels may be provided, along with actuators for rotating and/or moving one or more of the panels between the raised and collapsed configuration. One or more of the panels may be at least partially transparent or translucent, and seals may be provided for sealing the panels within the opening.
