Sliding visor
A sliding sun visor for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The sun visor includes a first and second visor body shell. The visor also comprises a pivot rod and a carrier slidingly arranged over the pivot rod. The first shell of the visor body includes a monorail arranged on an inside surface thereof. The carrier is slidingly engaged with the first shell wherein the carrier is arranged within or on the monorail. The carrier contacts a top portion of the monorail and a bottom portion of the monorail. The carrier is hence slidingly secured to the monorail and only connected to one of the shells used to engage to form a visor body. The visor bodies are secured via a press fit between a first boss arranged on a first shell and a second boss arranged on the second shell thus creating a secure connection that does not need screws to secure the visor halves to one another.
MULTI-SECTIONAL SUN VISOR FOR A VEHICLE
A multi-sectional sun visor disposed on at least a portion of a vehicle, including a first section comprising a first body disposed over a front windshield of the vehicle to prevent external light from passing therethrough, and a second section, including a second body to prevent the external light from passing therethrough, and a pivoting arm hingedly disposed at a first end within at least a portion of the second body and connected at a second end to the first body to rotate in a first direction toward the first body, and in a second direction at least partially away from the first body, such that the second body is at least partially disposed over a side window of the vehicle in the second position.
VEHICULAR SUN VISOR
A vehicular sun visor has a plate-shaped visor body, and a support shaft inserted into the visor body. The visor body is provided with a clip into which the support shaft is inserted. The outer peripheral surface of the support shaft includes a planar region that abuts the clip when the visor body is positioned in a storage position. The clip has a clip body made of elastically deformable metal, and has a pressing part that slidably abuts the outer peripheral surface of the support shaft including the planar region. The pressing part of the support shaft is applied with a surface treatment.
VEHICLE SUN VISOR EQUIPPED WITH CARD HOLDER
A vehicle sun visor has: a hollow plate-like visor body; and a card holder fitted to the visor body. The visor body has an opening that is formed in a first component of the visor body, and a pair of rails that extend from both ends of the opening on the backside of the first component. The card holder has, integrally, an annular bezel along the opening, and a holder body extending from one side of the bezel over the other side thereof. The holder body has both edges that are held on the rails, and a projection piece that is located on a side opposite to the bezel and is held on the visor body.
Pivoting mirror sunshield apparatus
A pivoting mirror sunshield apparatus for preventing glare around rearview mirrors includes a visor body having a body front side, a body back side, a body top edge, a body bottom edge, a body left edge, and a body right edge. The body bottom edge has a cutout portion extending towards the body top edge to accommodate a mounting arm of a rearview mirror of a vehicle. A plurality of clip pivots is coupled to the visor body. Each clip pivot is coupled to the body front side. A plurality of mirror clips is coupled to the plurality of clip pivots. Each mirror clip has a pivot portion pivotably coupled to the respective clip pivot and a clip portion to selectively engage a mirror top edge of the rearview mirror.
Sliding sun visor having slim structure
A sliding sun visor having a reduced thickness is provided. The visor includes a sliding housing provided on a sun visor body and installed to be movable in an axial direction of a pivot arm. A clamp is installed in the sliding housing to be fixed to the pivot arm and configured to guide and support a movement of the sliding housing when the sliding housing slides, in which a guide, which is a substitute for the sliding housing, is installed at an inner-upper end of the sun visor body to minimize a width of the sliding housing that surrounds the pivot arm. The guide includes a guide rail integrally formed at the inner-upper end of the sun visor body, a clamp housing moving together with the sun visor body along the guide rail, and a clamp installed in the clamp housing and sliding on the pivot arm.
Shading device
A shading device comprises: a shading member formed using a dimming glass plate capable of changing light transmittance, the shading member having a plate shape; a display apparatus being capable of transmitting light and disposed on a surface of the shading member, the surface being to face an operator during use of the shading member, in such a manner that a display portion faces the operator; an image pickup device to pick up, as an image, a region which an opposite surface of the surface faces, and generate image pickup data; a data processing circuit to generate display image data to be displayed on the display portion during use of the shading member, based on the image pickup data generated by the image pickup device; and a switch to change light transmittance of the dimming glass plate.
