Exterior panel structure for vehicle
An exterior panel structure for a vehicle prevents unevenness caused by distortion of an outer surface of the exterior panel and keeps dents small even when a user presses the exterior panel from the outside. The exterior panel structure includes the exterior panel, and a reinforcing member having joint sections and coupling sections. The joint sections are separated from each other along an inner surface of the exterior panel, and each is joined to the inner surface of the exterior panel. The coupling section follows the inner surface of the exterior panel and couples the adjacent joint sections. The inner surface of the exterior panel and the coupling section abut each other when a pressing force equal to or larger than a specified value is applied inward in a thickness direction of the exterior panel from an outer surface of the exterior panel, and are otherwise separated from each other.
PANEL DOOR FOR VEHICLE HAVING IMPROVED STIFFNESS
A panel door applied for a vehicle including a stiffness member made of a plastic material and integrally formed on an internal surface of the panel door, includes an external panel, an internal panel coupled to the external panel, and a stiffness member formed to connect a frame forming a circumference and stiffness elements provided for reinforcing stiffness inside the frame and coupled to at least one of the external panel and the internal panel.
Vehicle door
A vehicle door for a motor vehicle, including a support structure, an inner shell fixed to the support structure, and an outer panelling fixed to the inner shell. The inner shell is formed and connected to the support structure in such a way that it is a load-bearing component, thereby increasing the overall rigidity of the vehicle door.
Vehicle door assembly with an organosheet door module carrier reinforcing a sill region
A vehicle door assembly, having a first frame component including a window frame for a window opening and two opposing lateral frame for defining a frame cut-out and forming a sill portion connecting the two lateral frame portions to one another, a second frame component for strengthening the window frame, the second frame component fixed on the first frame component, and a door module carrier formed from an organosheet and at least partially closes the frame cut-out. The door module carrier forming an edge portion fixed to the sill portion in a longitudinal direction of the sill portion. The organosheet is a supporting structural component and an edge portion thereof is reinforced by a reinforcing structure injection-moulded onto the organosheet and the edge portion thereof strengthens the sill portion of the first frame component where no portion of the second frame component is provided.
VEHICLE DOOR COVER DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING
A vehicle door cover device for inhibiting contact between an upper frame portion of a door frame of a vehicle door assembly and a glass pane during installation of the glass pane into the vehicle door assembly includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a channel wall that extends between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. The first sidewall, the second sidewall, and the channel wall form a pillar receiving channel that extends between the first sidewall and the second sidewall, and the pillar receiving channel comprises a width dimension and a length dimension and the width dimension is sized to slidably receive the upper frame portion of the door frame during installation of the glass pane.
Vehicle side portion structure
A vehicle side portion structure includes a vehicle body side portion in which a door opening portion allowing an occupant to enter or leave a vehicle is formed, the vehicle body side portion being configured to include a center pillar dividing the door opening portion into front and rear portions, a slide door disposed such that the door opening portion is openable and closable, the slide door in a closed state being disposed across the center pillar in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, and an elongated reinforcing member disposed inside the slide door with a longitudinal direction of the reinforcing member directed in the front-rear direction of the vehicle and intersecting with the center pillar in side view of the vehicle in the state where the slide door is closed.
Van door assembly
A van door assembly, including a header panel including a top surface and a door mechanism plate. The door mechanism plate includes a lip secured to the top surface, a plate connected to the lip, and a platform connected to the plate, wherein the platform is arranged substantially perpendicular to the plate.
Side-by-side utility vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground engaging members. The frame assembly extends generally along a longitudinal axis of the utility vehicle. The utility vehicle further includes a front seating section coupled to the frame. The front seating section is configured to support an operator and a first passenger. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a rear seating section coupled to the frame. The rear seating section is configured to support a second passenger and a third passenger. The rear seating section has an angled panel configured as a dead pedal for the second and third passengers, and a portion of the rear seating section extends forwardly into the front seating section.
Passenger seats and doors for an autonomous vehicle
An autonomous can include one or more configurable passenger seats to accommodate a plurality of different seating configurations. For instance, the one or more passenger seats can include a passenger seat defining a seating orientation. The passenger seat can be configurable in a first configuration in which the seating orientation is directed towards a forward end of the autonomous vehicle and a second configuration in which the seating orientation is directed towards a rear end of the autonomous vehicle. The passenger seat can include a seatback rotatable about a pivot point on a base of the passenger seat to switch between the first configuration and the second configuration. Alternatively, or additionally, the autonomous vehicle can include a door assembly pivotably fixed to a vehicle body of the autonomous vehicle such that a swept path of the door assembly when moving between an open position and a closed position is reduced.
DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton; and a second door module coupled with the first door module and forming a door window, wherein the second door module includes a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module; and a reinforcement member is along an edge portion forming the door window of the second door module, reducing weight and cost of the door for the vehicle.
