A gripping device for a vehicle, including a housing element with a user-accessible contact surface and a user-inaccessible inner surface and at least one light conducting element for providing an ambience illumination at the gripping device, the light conducting element being fastened to the housing element. For this purpose, it is provided according to the invention that a groove for accommodating the light conducting element is formed on the contact surface of the housing element in such a way that a user-accessible contact side of the light conducting element completes the contact surface in a flush and uninterrupted manner in an opening area of the groove on the contact surface of the housing element.

A locator assembly for an interior trim panel of a vehicle comprises a bracket and an adjustable locator. The bracket is disposed in the interior trim panel. The adjustable locator comprises a locator pin and is rotatably supported by the bracket. The adjustable locator is capable of rotating from a first position to a second position. The locator pin is disposed in a first location when the adjustable locator is in the first position. The locator pin is disposed in a second location when the adjustable locator is in the second position. The first location of the locator pin is displaced a first distance in a first direction from the second location of the locator pin.
CLIP FOR ATTACHING A TRIM PANEL TO A DOOR
A vehicle door assembly is disclosed herein. The vehicle door assembly includes a door. A trim panel has a mount that defines an aperture. A clip that includes a base is coupled to the door. A retainer is coupled to the base and is configured to extend through the aperture defined by the mount to an assembled position, the retainer has an upper portion that is coupled to a lower portion at a vertex to form a projection. A retention feature is coupled to the upper portion and has a ramp. A stop is coupled to the ramp and extends generally downward therefrom to the upper portion. The stop is configured to engage with a back side of the mount to generally prevent the movement of the retainer out of the aperture when the retainer is in the assembled position.

A vehicle structure includes a body panel, a first spring anchor, a second spring anchor; and an elongated spring having a first end disposed at a first spring anchor and a second end disposed at a second spring anchor. An interior cover mount assembly includes a base member and an interior cover including a clip and the clip includes an arm section and a head section having a width greater than that of the arm section. The base member has an insertion stopper hole through which the head section is inserted and a projection projecting from the base member toward the interior cover and disposed near the holding section. The insertion stopper hole includes an insertion section through which the head section is inserted and a holding section having a width smaller than that of the head section and greater than that of the arm section and where the arm section is arranged. In the interior cover that is mounted on the base member, the clip is fit in the insertion stopper hole such that the head section overlaps the holding section and the projection in the mounting direction.
