In the open position of the side door, access to a vehicle interior of the vehicle is provided. In the closed position of the side door, the side door extends across a longitudinal centerline of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a plurality of pivot members, each pivotably coupled to the support structure at a first end and pivotably coupled to the side door at a second end. The side door is movable between the open and closed positions via pivotal movement of each of the plurality of pivot members relative to the support structure and pivotal movement of the side door relative to each of the plurality of pivot members.
RELEASE SYSTEM FOR REMOVABLE VEHICLE PANEL
A hybrid vehicle door includes a structural door member including a first stile supporting a hinge, a second stile supporting a latch and a rail member extending between the first stile and the second stile. A latch actuator system is mounted to the rail member. The latch actuator system includes a latch actuator member operatively connected to the latch and a latch element connector operatively connected to the latch. A removable panel is connected to at least the first stile and the second stile. The removable panel covers the latch actuator system. A removable panel handle system is mounted to the removable panel. The removable panel handle system includes a removable panel latch actuator member mounted to the removable panel and a latch element operatively connected to the removable panel latch actuator member. The latch element is engaged with the latch element connector of the latch actuator system.
PANEL DOOR FOR VEHICLE HAVING IMPROVED STIFFNESS
A panel door applied for a vehicle including a stiffness member made of a plastic material and integrally formed on an internal surface of the panel door, includes an external panel, an internal panel coupled to the external panel, and a stiffness member formed to connect a frame forming a circumference and stiffness elements provided for reinforcing stiffness inside the frame and coupled to at least one of the external panel and the internal panel.
PANEL FASTENING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF PANEL DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A panel fastening structure of the panel door for a vehicle to which circumferences of an external panel and an internal panel are coupled, wherein a first side of the door hinged to a vehicle body includes the external panel and the internal panel fastened by a fastening member, and a second side of the door includes the external panel and the internal panel slidably coupled to each other.
Hemming structure and hemming method for hybrid-type door
A hemming structure may include a door, in which the door has an internal panel and an external panel made of different materials, the hemming structure being configured such that each of the internal panel and the external panel is provided with a contact area with end portions of the internal panel and the external panel contacting with each other at the contact area, wherein the contact area includes a first contact area with a sealer applied onto a contact surface between the internal panel and the external panel, and a second contact area extending from the first contact area and being bent to be brought into contact with the internal panel at the first contact area, and the second contact area is provided with a bonding portion at which the internal panel and the external panel are mechanically bonded to each other.
Door Bodyshell of a Framed Door of a Motor Vehicle and Production Method Thereof
A door bodyshell of a framed door of a motor vehicle is provided. The door bodyshell includes a door inside panel and an assembly fastened to the door inside panel. The door inside panel has an inner sill region and a peripheral frame structure, which is connected to the inner sill region, for a motor vehicle side window. The assembly fastened to the door inside panel has a reinforcing structure, which is arranged level with the inner sill region, and a door outside skin, which is connected to the reinforcing structure level with the inner sill region by way of a flange or a welded joint. In a state in which the door body shell is installed on the motor vehicle, the reinforcing structure level with the inner sill region is inclined in the direction of a motor vehicle interior such that the flange or the welded joint and a horizontal plane enclose an angle of less than 90. In the state in which the door body shell is installed on the motor vehicle, the flange or the welded joint is formed as far as at least an outer comer, in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, of an outer sill region of the door body shell.
Vehicle door frame
A vehicle door frame includes an upper sash and a side sash. The upper sash includes a first end face that extends in an oblique direction crossing a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, and a lower outer face. The side sash includes a second end face and an internal space. The top end face includes a first face that abuts on the rear end face, and a second face that is inclined with respect to the first face and directed upward and is provided with an aperture being one end of the internal space. The lower outer face of the upper sash covers the inner peripheral face and the aperture.
INTERIOR COVER MOUNT ASSEMBLY
An interior cover mount assembly includes a base member and an interior cover including a clip and the clip includes an arm section and a head section having a width greater than that of the arm section. The base member has an insertion stopper hole through which the head section is inserted and a projection projecting from the base member toward the interior cover and disposed near the holding section. The insertion stopper hole includes an insertion section through which the head section is inserted and a holding section having a width smaller than that of the head section and greater than that of the arm section and where the arm section is arranged. In the interior cover that is mounted on the base member, the clip is fit in the insertion stopper hole such that the head section overlaps the holding section and the projection in the mounting direction.
