VEHICLE DOOR SYSTEM
A mechanism to enable opening and closing of a vehicle door comprising a swing arm assembly in use pivotally coupled between a vehicle structure and a slide support carriage. The slide support carriage being mounted to an elongate rail assembly attached to the vehicle door for movement there along. The mechanism further comprises a motion control surface attached to or integral with the door assembly and a follower assembly to regulate relative simultaneous pivotal motion of the swing arm according to the position and motion of the slide support carriage along the rail assembly.
LINK MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE DOOR AND VEHICLE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A link mechanism for a vehicle door is provided. The link mechanism includes a body having a first end portion facing a vehicle body and a second end portion facing a vehicle door and a first mounting member that is mounted on the vehicle body, and rotatably connected to the first end portion of the body through a first shaft. A second mounting member is mounted on the vehicle door, and is rotatably connected to the second end portion of the body through a second shaft. A rotation restricting unit selectively restricts a rotation of the second mounting member.
VEHICLE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS
A vehicle door opening and closing apparatus includes: a vehicle door; a rail mounted on a vehicle body; and a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door, and configured to move along the rail, where the roller unit allows the vehicle door to open and close in either a sliding mode, in which the vehicle door slides along the rail, or a swing mode, in which the vehicle door swings in a predetermined position of the rail.
ACCESSIBILITY VEHICLES
An accessibility vehicle is for use with a vehicle and configured to move and stop on a surface. The vehicle is based upon a modified commercial vehicle having a side entrance and a floor. A bi-fold ramp module secured to the floor. The ramp module is positioned such that, in a folded configuration, the ramp module is substantially situated within the vehicle, and, in an extended configuration, the ramp module extends through the side entrance towards the surface to form a wheelchair ramp, the wheelchair ramp adapted for traverse in use by the wheelchair between the surface and the floor of the vehicle.
DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a door assembly. The body is supported by the chassis, and defines a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The driver compartment has a cab opening and the cargo compartment has a cargo opening. The door assembly is coupled to the body and provides selective access into the driver compartment and into the cargo compartment through the cab opening and cargo opening, respectively. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door. The first door is movable between a first position extending across the cab opening and a second position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening. The second door is movable between a third position extending across the cargo opening and a fourth position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening.
Opposed type sliding door device of vehicle using planetary gear reducer
An opposed type sliding door device includes a center rail mounted on a center of a door in a longitudinal direction of the door. A center roller is mounted on a vehicle body and a lower rail is mounted on a lower portion of the vehicle body. A lower roller is mounted on the door and moves along the lower rail to pivot the door toward the outside of the vehicle. The lower roller includes a pinion gear which engages in a rack gear mounted on a lower portion of the lower rail, a planetary gear reducer coupled to an upper portion of the pinion gear, a swing bracket moving the door toward the outside with rotation of the pinion gear, and a mounting bracket having one end coupled to the door and another end coupled to the swing bracket.
VEHICLE DOOR ARRANGEMENT CONFIGURED TO PREVENT OVERLAP
This disclosure relates to a motor vehicle with a door arrangement configured to prevent overlap of the doors, and a corresponding method. An exemplary motor vehicle includes a first door on a first side of the motor vehicle including a first pad adjacent a rear edge of the first door, and a second door on the first side of the motor vehicle including a second pad adjacent a front edge of the second door. Further, the first pad and second pad are arranged such that, in a first condition, the first pad and second pad are spaced-apart from one another and, in a second condition, the first pad and second pad contact one another to prevent overlap of the first door and second door.
CLOSURE ASSEMBLY WITH ARTICULATING HINGE COVER
A closure system includes a closure panel assembly and a hinge assembly configured to connect the closure panel assembly to a body. The hinge assembly includes a first hinge and a second hinge configured to be pivotably secured to the body and to the closure panel assembly in parallel, the hinge assembly establishing a four-bar linkage. The closure system includes a hinge cover configured to be fixed to the first hinge and pivotably connected to the closure panel assembly. The closure panel assembly is movable between a closed position and an open position via pivoting of the first hinge and the second hinge, the closure panel assembly at least partially covering the opening in the closed position and at least partially uncovering the opening in the open position. The hinge cover articulated alongside the first hinge and at least partially covers the first hinge in the closed position.
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR HOUSE AND VEHICLE
A connection system for a house and a vehicle, may include a vehicle door provided in the vehicle to open or close a vehicle entrance through which a passenger enters or exits the vehicle and allowing an internal space of the vehicle to be exposed into the house when authenticated by the house; and a hatch provided in a house entrance on a side wall of the house to selectively couple the house entrance and the vehicle entrance with each other so that an internal space of the vehicle and an internal space of the house are connected to each other in a state that the vehicle door is open when the authenticated vehicle is parked on a side of the house entrance.
Vehicle door assemblies
A vehicle door assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a first door, a second door and a first hinge assembly connected to the first door and the second door. The first door is movable between a first position and a second position about the first hinge assembly, and in the second position, the first door is received against the second door.
