RESIN PANEL COMPONENT OF VEHICLE BODY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Takt time to manufacture a panel component by bonding an inner panel made from resin and an outer panel made from resin is shortened. A method for manufacturing a resin panel component of a vehicle body includes the steps of: applying an adhesive to an inner panel; placing the inner panel and outer panels on top of each other and holding bonding areas of the inner panel and the outer panels while the holding bonding areas are being pressed by jigs only on a side of the outer panels without being supported on the inner panel side; and curing the adhesive interposed between the inner panel and the outer panels.
VEHICLE DOOR OR TAILGATE WITH SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SUCH
A vehicle door or tailgate, in particular for motor vehicles, with a frame which is formed as a support structure of the door or tailgate and is separate from an exterior and/or interior trim, wherein the frame is produced separately from plastic and/or a composite material, wherein the frame comprises at least two components which are connected to one another, and wherein the at least two components have connection means which comprise tongue and groove connections.
PANEL DOOR FOR VEHICLE HAVING IMPROVED STIFFNESS
A panel door applied for a vehicle including a stiffness member made of a plastic material and integrally formed on an internal surface of the panel door, includes an external panel, an internal panel coupled to the external panel, and a stiffness member formed to connect a frame forming a circumference and stiffness elements provided for reinforcing stiffness inside the frame and coupled to at least one of the external panel and the internal panel.
PANEL FASTENING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF PANEL DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A panel fastening structure of the panel door for a vehicle to which circumferences of an external panel and an internal panel are coupled, wherein a first side of the door hinged to a vehicle body includes the external panel and the internal panel fastened by a fastening member, and a second side of the door includes the external panel and the internal panel slidably coupled to each other.
OPENING PANEL MADE FROM PLASTIC, WHICH CONTINUES TO BLOCK THE OPENING IN THE BODY SHELL IN THE EVENT OF AN IMPACT
Motor vehicle sub-assembly (10) comprising a first part (20) made of plastic material forming an outer bodywork skin, and a second part (30) made of plastic material forming an internal structure to which said first part (20) is attached, characterised in that the second part (30) comprises at least one mechanical reinforcement (40) made of thermoplastic material having a Young's modulus less than that of the plastic material of the second part (30), and a coefficient of elongation at break greater than that of the plastic material of the second part (30).
HYBRID COMPOSITE TAILGATE
The invention relates to a hybrid tailgate for a vehicle, comprising a thermoplastic inner structure forming the carrier frame of the tailgate, and at least one composite reinforcement part to reinforce the carrier frame, wherein the composite reinforcement part is connected to the thermoplastic inner structure at a first surface, wherein the composite reinforcement part forms a continuous load path in the inner structure enclosing a tailgate window opening for a window glazing part of the tailgate. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle comprising such a hybrid tailgate. Moreover, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing such a hybrid tailgate, the method comprising forming a composite laminate part into an insert; placing the insert in an injection molding tool; and over-molding the insert with polymer resin.
Vehicle door
A vehicle door for a motor vehicle, including a support structure, an inner shell fixed to the support structure, and an outer panelling fixed to the inner shell. The inner shell is formed and connected to the support structure in such a way that it is a load-bearing component, thereby increasing the overall rigidity of the vehicle door.
VEHICLE TAILGATE
The invention relates to a vehicle tailgate made of a plastic material (12), comprising an inner panel (1), an outer panel (2) and a first glue bead (31) applied between the inner panel (1) and the outer panel (2) so as to assemble the two panels by gluing and to create a water-tight inner space between the two panels, the outer panel (2) having a skin (21) with an appearance surface, a housing (14) for receiving an optical unit, which is delimited by a peripheral wall (22) joined to the skin (21), and a cavity (25) delimited by the skin (21), at least a portion of the peripheral wall (22) of the housing (14) and walls (23, 26) projecting from the housing (14) towards the inner face of the skin (21). The invention is characterised in that at least one wall of the walls (23, 26) projecting from the housing (14) towards the inner face of the skin (21) and participating in delimiting the cavity (25) does not touch the inner face of the skin (21), such that there is a gap (27) between the at least one wall and the inner face of the skin (21), and in that a second glue bead (32) is applied at the gap (27) in order to seal the gap and thus ensure that the cavity (25) is water-tight. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a vehicle tailgate of this type.
Vehicle door assembly with an organosheet door module carrier reinforcing a sill region
A vehicle door assembly, having a first frame component including a window frame for a window opening and two opposing lateral frame for defining a frame cut-out and forming a sill portion connecting the two lateral frame portions to one another, a second frame component for strengthening the window frame, the second frame component fixed on the first frame component, and a door module carrier formed from an organosheet and at least partially closes the frame cut-out. The door module carrier forming an edge portion fixed to the sill portion in a longitudinal direction of the sill portion. The organosheet is a supporting structural component and an edge portion thereof is reinforced by a reinforcing structure injection-moulded onto the organosheet and the edge portion thereof strengthens the sill portion of the first frame component where no portion of the second frame component is provided.
Vehicle door with carrier module having sustainable carrier
A carrier of a carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly and method of manufacture thereof is provided. The carrier has a body with opposite wet and dry sides bounded by an outer periphery configured for attachment to an inner panel of the motor vehicle door assembly. The body is made of a recyclable, environmentally sustainable natural fibrous material.
