VEHICLE ENGINE MOUNTING
A vehicle configuration wherein the center of mass of the vehicle is approximately superimposed upon the passenger and driver centers of mass when seated within the vehicle. An occupant's center of mass can be approximated using a standard center of mass position approximation, or a combination of any number of standard center of mass position approximations. The vehicle's center of mass can be approximately superimposed upon the occupant's center of mass in at least the longitudinal and vertical directions.
Off-highway recreational vehicle
A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis that is approximately 50 inches wide. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. Grab handles are positioned on the sides of the passenger seat. Select large round tubing protects the vehicle, while rectangular tubing frames the portions of the vehicle beneath body panels. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. The engine and transaxle are isolation mounted together with a portion of the air intake assembly. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.
Side-by-side utility vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground engaging members. The frame assembly extends generally along a longitudinal axis of the utility vehicle. The utility vehicle further includes a front seating section coupled to the frame. The front seating section is configured to support an operator and a first passenger. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a rear seating section coupled to the frame. The rear seating section is configured to support a second passenger and a third passenger. The rear seating section has an angled panel configured as a dead pedal for the second and third passengers, and a portion of the rear seating section extends forwardly into the front seating section.
VEHICLE DOOR
A vehicle door, in particular a passenger door for a public transport vehicle, includes a window frame for receiving a window, which has at least one frame element for receiving a respective window edge of the window. The vehicle further includes a door frame for receiving the window frame. The door frame includes a door profile and the at least one frame element includes a window profile respectively, wherein the at least one window profile with reference to a movement in a release direction perpendicular to the window edge received by the respective frame element is engaged with a respective door profile in a form-fitting manner.
UTILITY VEHICLE HALF DOOR
A utility vehicle half door includes a unitary molded plastic body that is symmetrical and identical on both a first surface and second surface. Hinge knuckles are integral with the unitary molded plastic body for hinged mounting to the left or right side of a utility vehicle. An interior panel subassembly with the door release handle and door latch may be attached to one of the first and second surfaces.
Construction Machine, In Particular Ground Compaction Machine, Specifically Rubber-Tired Roller, Method For Operating A Construction Machine, And Method For Manufacturing A Construction Machine
The invention relates to a construction machine (1) with a machine frame (2), a driver cab (6) with a right and a left door-window unit (12) when viewed in a traveling direction (A) of the construction machine (1), wherein the door-window units (12) are adjustable between a closed and an open position, and with a drive engine (13) and front and rear traveling devices (4, 5). Essentially, the door-window units (12) can be opened in an opposite manner, in particular depending on the side of the machine frame (2) on which the front and rear traveling devices (4, 5) respectively sit flush with the machine frame (2). The invention is particularly relevant for ground compaction machines, in particular rubber-tired rollers. The invention further relates to a method for operating a construction machine (1) and a method for manufacturing a construction machine (1).
UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, a hinge base attached to the vehicle body frame, a door provided to be openable and closable in a vehicle width direction with respect to the vehicle body frame, a hinge bracket attached to the door, and an intermediate bracket that is pivotably attached to the hinge base and to which the hinge bracket is attached. The hinge bracket is configured so that a position thereof with respect to the intermediate bracket can be adjusted, and thereby the door is configured to be adjustable in a vertical position.
Window frame assembly, door assembly and window frame kit for a vehicle
A window frame assembly for a vehicle has a cage frame segment connectable to a roll cage, a door frame segment connectable to a door having a hinged end and an opening end such that its first end is disposed proximate the opening end and its second end is disposed proximate the hinged end, and a linking frame segment having a first end pivotable about a pivot axis for pivoting the linking and door frame segments relative to the cage frame segment and a second end movably connected to the door frame segment such that the linking frame segment moves relative to the door frame segment as the linking and door frame segments pivot about the pivot axis, the cage, door and linking frame segments together forming a frame. Door assemblies for vehicles, window frame kits for vehicles, and vehicles provided with same are also disclosed.
Off-highway recreational device
A vehicle configuration wherein the center of mass of the vehicle is approximately superimposed upon the passenger and driver centers of mass when seated within the vehicle. An occupant's center of mass can be approximated using a standard center of mass position approximation, or a combination of any number of standard center of mass position approximations. The vehicle's center of mass can be approximately superimposed upon the occupant's center of mass in at least the longitudinal and vertical directions.
UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A utility task vehicle includes a vehicle body including an opening. A door is positioned adjacent the opening. The door is configured to pivot about a first axis between an open position and a closed position. A window assembly is positioned adjacent and operably coupled to the door. The window assembly is configured to pivot about a second axis between an open position and a closed position. Rotation of the window assembly about the second axis is driven by rotation of said door about the first axis. In combination, the door and the window assembly substantially seal the opening of the vehicle body.
