The invention relates to a device for combing and conditioning artificial turf, which comprises a handle (1), a pole (2), a head (3) which houses an electric motor (4), and a pair of brushes (5) driven by the electric motor (4), the brushes (5) being configured for combing and conditioning the artificial turf, and such that the brushes (5) have a helical shape. The device comprises a transmission that comprises a motor output shaft (9) that is associated with a transmission belt (10), which transmits the rotation to a toothed wheel (11), the wheel (11) transmits the rotation to a transmission shaft (12) which ends in a worm screw (13) that transmits the rotation to a transverse shaft (14) via a toothed wheel (15) attached to the transverse shaft (14) that houses the pair of brushes (5).

Disclosed is a device for the automated repair of pitch marks. The device includes a frame that supports a forward sensor array and front and rear rollers. The rollers permit the device to travel across the surface of a green or fairway. A pair of X-Y transfer arms are positioned behind the sensor array and support a pitch-mark repair tool. The X-Y transfer arms function to move the repair tool to the location of any pitch-marks detected by the sensor array. The apparatus can be driven across a grassy surface for the purpose of locating and repairing any pitch-marks.

Disclosed is a device for the automated repair of pitch marks. The device includes a frame that supports a forward sensor array and front and rear rollers. The rollers permit the device to travel across the surface of a green or fairway. A pair of X-Y transfer arms are positioned behind the sensor array and support a pitch-mark repair tool. The X-Y transfer arms function to move the repair tool to the location of any pitch-marks detected by the sensor array. The apparatus can be driven across a grassy surface for the purpose of locating and repairing any pitch-marks.

These include at least one roller and manifold assembly, said at least one roller and manifold assembly including a plurality of injection heads for directing periodic high pressure jets of liquid and at least one additive material into the ground, said jets of liquid having a discrete pulse duration, wherein the depth of penetration of the jets into the soil is a function of the pulse duration, wherein said plurality of injection head creates a discharge pattern greater than 30 inches in width and at least 1 inch in depth; a liquid supply system for supplying pressurized liquid to said at least one injection head; an additive supply system for introducing said at least one additive material to said liquid within said at least one injection head, the additive supply system including a hopper that receives the additive material after passing through a plurality of sifters; and a control system for controlling discharge from said at least one injection head.

A turf roller can include a chassis, a roller assembly supporting the chassis, the roller assembly including a roller, a first actuator operably connected to the roller and configured to control an angular position of the roller, a second actuator operably connected to the roller and configured to rotationally drive the roller, and an operator station supported by the chassis, the operator station including a single input member controlling the output to both the first and second actuators to provide directional and speed control for the drive the turf roller.
