Vehicle back door structure
A concave portion, that is concave in a direction away from a back door glass, is formed at a facing wall of an outer member at a facing region that faces a bus bar portion. Due thereto, a gap between a bottom surface of the concave portion and the bus bar portion that is disposed at the back door glass can be made to be large.
VEHICLE BACK DOOR
A vehicle back door has a first cord-like member disposed in a door body formed of a resin panel member. The first cord-like member has a wire that is routed in the panel member, a first mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, a second mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, and a bracket that movably holds an intermediate part between the first mounting member and the second mounting member of the wire.
Liftgate assembly for a vehicle
A liftgate assembly for a vehicle includes an outer panel and an inner panel. The outer panel is adapted for mounting to a rear portion of a vehicle and includes first and second lower corner regions. The inner panel is mounted to the outer panel such that the outer panel and inner panel define an opening for a rear window. The inner panel includes a first reinforcement rib diagonally extending from the first lower corner region to a Z/Y center adjacent the opening and a second reinforcement rib extending from the second lower corner region to the Z/Y center. The reinforcement ribs are arranged with the outer panel to define an A-shape or inverted V-shape.
MOTOR VEHICLE AND A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL COVER FOR SAME
A motor vehicle is disclosed having a flexible cover that is multi-functional in nature and can be configured as a cover for a rear luggage compartment of the motor vehicle as a small item carrier, as an extendible weather protector and as a roof protector for the motor vehicle.
Vehicle tailgate
To improve the appearance of a tailgate provided with a rear spoiler, a tailgate of a vehicle includes a tailgate main body having a rear window opening a rear spoiler extending rearward from a part of the tailgate main body above the rear window opening a rear window panel that is mounted on an outer peripheral portion of the rear window opening of an outer surface of the tailgate main body and closes the rear window opening and a plate-shaped shield member mounted on a lower surface of the rear spoiler so as to shield a space formed between the lower surface of the rear spoiler and an upper end portion of the rear window panel.
REVISED MOUNTING POINT
A liftgate having an overmolded hinge point comprising a metal reinforcement overmolded with a polymer and having a compression limiter portion molded in. The compression limiter portion including a tubular portion for receiving a fastener encapsulated during overmolding and having overmolded gusset ribs extending therefrom during the overmolding process.
TAILGATE WITH REVERSING CAMERA
A tailgate for a vehicle includes an outer skin and a grip recessed into the outer skin, which open towards the bottom when the tailgate in a closed position. A wall of the recessed grip is formed at least in part by a cover of an extendable mounting for a camera. The camera is positionable between a retracted position in which the cover conceals the camera and an extended position in which the camera provides a field of view behind the vehicle.
LATERAL TAILGATE SUPPORT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A tailgate support is arranged in a sealing channel between an inner panel of the lid bodyshell and a lateral covering of the rear lights.
TWO-PART MOTOR VEHICLE SPOILER
A rear spoiler of a motor vehicle. The spoiler includes a first part intended for being attached to the rear of the vehicle in an attachment position by a first attachment means, and a second part which is intended for being removably attached to the first part in an attachment position by a second attachment means, the second part leaving a portion of the upper surface of the first part visible in this attachment position.
Electromechanical strut with motor-gearbox assembly having dual stage planetary gearbox
An electromechanical strut is provided for moving a pivotal closure member between an open position and a closed position relative to a motor vehicle body. The electromechanical strut includes a drive mechanism having a motor-gearbox assembly that is operable to drive a rotatable power screw. The drive mechanism converts rotary motion of the power screw into linear motion of an extensible member to move the extensible member between a retracted position corresponding to the closed position of the closure member and an extended position corresponding to the open position of the closure member. The motor-gearbox assembly includes a gearbox unit equipped with a dual-stage planetary geartrain that is operably disposed between a motor output and the power screw. The dual-stage planetary geartrain includes a first stage gearset and a second stage gearset sharing a common ring gear.
