An air control system with an integrated diagnostic device for a motor vehicle includes: a carrier structure, an air output opening, a closing element arrangement with one or several closing elements adjustably placed on the carrier structure, a power unit which is constructed to adjust the closing element arrangement in an adjustment movement, a diagnostic device to acquire information about the condition of the closing element arrangement, an interface to convey data at least from the diagnostic device to another device, wherein for at least one closing element of the closing element arrangement the air control system also includes a resistance element associated with said closing element which is constructed to temporarily change the torque or force required in a predetermined phase of the adjustment movement for the adjustment of the closing element arrangement, wherein the diagnostic device acquires at least one operating parameter of the power unit as information about the status of the closing element arrangement.

One-motor electric sunshade and sunroof structure

A one-motor electric sunshade and sunroof structure may include glass sleds configured to open and close a sunroof glass by sliding in a front and rear direction along mechanism rails disposed at both sides of a roof panel for a vehicle, each having both ends to which a front sled and a rear sled are rotatably coupled, respectively, main cable devices which are connected with a drive motor by a cable, and movable along the mechanism rails, each having a cable protrusion that protrudes to be slidably accommodated in glass grooves formed in side surfaces of the front sled, the rear sled, and the glass sled, and sunshade sleds selectively coupled to the main cable devices and configured to open and close the sunshade by sliding, each having a first side at which a sunshade lever, which is selectively restricted with a corresponding mechanism rail, is mounted.

Sunroof device

A front shoe as a sliding member includes a pair of support walls facing each other in a vehicle width direction, and a fulcrum shaft disposed in a bridging manner between both support walls. A support bracket as a support member supporting a movable panel and integrally moving while being joined to the front shoe includes a joint block having an engagement portion for the fulcrum shaft and serving as a second joint portion joined to a first joint portion on the front shoe side. Further, the joint block is arranged between both support walls while being relatively rotatable about the fulcrum shaft. On the joint block, a cushion member interposed between the joint block and the support walls while being fixed thereto is disposed.

Sliding roof system for an automotive vehicle with a movable roof part which is displaceable relative to a vehicle-fixed roof frame module between a closed position, a ventilation position and an open position, and with a drive system including at least one carrier profile for displacing the roof part. A control lever is provided with at least one support roller which is supported on a floor of the guide rail arrangement, and the floor of the guide rail arrangement includes a seat into which the support roller plunges when the latching cam is received in the latching recess.

DEPLOYABLE BED COVER FOR A VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED DEPLOYMENT METHOD
20210394596 · 2021-12-23 ·

A bed cover for a vehicle that may be deployed electromechanically, either on demand or automatically, when a vehicle operator so desires, when predetermined weather conditions are detected, when the vehicle reaches a predetermined speed or experiences predetermined operating conditions, and/or when predetermined aerodynamic drag conditions are detected. The bed cover is deployable from a stowed configuration to one or more use configurations. These use configurations may include a traditional horizontal bed cover and/or an angled “cap-style” bed cover, with the angled bed cover providing enhanced aerodynamic drag reduction characteristics. A vehicle control module and camera, sensor, and/or stop trigger are used to ensure that is safe to deploy and use the bed cover, without negatively impacting an item, animal, or person present in the bed or rear cargo space of the vehicle.

Vehicle roof comprising a mobile roof element

A vehicle roof is provided having a mobile roof element which can be moved by means of a drive carriage which is connected to the roof part and can be movably guided in a guide rail, a drive cable for moving the drive carriage, and a cable connection which connects the drive cable to the drive carriage. The cable connection may have a metal element. In one approach the metal element positively engages in a cable coil arranged on the drive cable.
