Glass run
A glass run capable of reducing protrusions in surfaces thereof to the minimum, and preventing peeling of an exterior decorative member. The glass run includes a trim section and a glass run section. An outer side wall of the glass run section is formed integrally with a bottom wall of the trim section, and an exterior decorative member is attached to an exterior side surface of the glass run continuously from an upper end of the bottom wall of the trim section to a lower end of the outer side wall so as to cover the exterior side surface. An exterior lower reinforcing member formed of an olefin thermoplastic elastomer and exhibiting rigidity larger than that of the outer side wall is integrally formed in the lower end of the outer side wall so as to be bonded to an interior side surface of a lower end part of the exterior decorative member.
End cap for an illuminated trim strip arrangement and trim strip arrangement
A trim strip arrangement is provided. The trim strip arrangement includes a profiled strip which partially covers a sealing profile and an end portion uniform lighting of a light gap without negatively affecting the external appearance of the trim strip arrangement. Provision is made for an external surface of the end portion to be configured as a visible surface which is optically matched to the external appearance of the adjoining sealing profile, and for an internal surface to be configured at least partially as a reflection surface which has a reflectivity which is increased with respect to the visible surface.

WINDOW ASSEMBLY, WINDOW PANE, AND WINDOW SEALING PROFILE
A window assembly (170) for a window opening of a motor vehicle comprises a door frame member (22), a movable window pane (130), a window sealing profile (100), and a guiding bracket (150). The movable window pane (130) includes a guiding section (136) and a window section (131) having an outer window surface (132). The window sealing profile (100) is fastened to the door frame member (22) and includes a sealing portion (110, 111, 112, 120) for sealing the window pane (130) against moisture and/or noise. The guiding bracket (150) includes a trimming surface (155) and is configured to guide the window pane (130) along a direction of movement between an open position and a closed position, and vice versa. The guiding bracket (150) simultaneously engages the window sealing profile (100) and the window pane (130), when in the fastened state.
Exterior applique with interchangeable inserts
An interchangeable applique assembly for an associated vehicle is disclosed. The applique assembly includes a base member or substrate dimensioned to cover a pillar of the associated vehicle. An applique insert is received on the base member and at least partially covers an outwardly facing surface of the base member. A fastener secures the applique insert to the base member.

Glass run for automobile door
A glass run for an automobile door is provided with an enhanced look of a design portion thereof, allowing the glass run to be deformed easily along the curved shape of a window frame during assembly to the window frame, thereby improving ease of assembly. The glass run includes a glass run body 21 including upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c, and a design portion 29 forming part of appearance design of an automobile. A material forming the upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c and a material forming the design portion 29 respectively contain a resin as a main ingredient. The material forming the design portion 29 is less rigid than the material forming the upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c.
SEALING STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE DOOR
A sealing structure for an automobile door includes a roll sash with a projection on an inner-cabin side surface of an upper end periphery thereof, a press sash without a projection and joined to the roll sash, and a decorative molding which covers the sashes. An installation base member of a weather strip is configured to operably couple to an outer circumferential edge on an upper side of the door sash. The weather strip includes a hollow seal member and an outer seal lip. An outer-cabin side end of the installation base member and a rib-shaped protrusion which extends outwardly toward an exterior of an automobile are configured to clasp the projection. An upper part protrusion which extends outwardly toward the exterior of the automobile from an upper side relative to the rib-shaped protrusion is configured to make close contact with an upper part of the decorative molding.

GLASS RUN FOR AUTOMOBILE DOOR
Disclosed is a technique of narrowing a trim strip and improving ease of assembly. A boundary portion between upper and outer plate portions in the cross-section of a core is curved to have a large curvature. An outer portion of a glass run body is provided with an upper elastic protrusion engaging with an upper engagement portion of the trim strip. A gap is formed between an upper part of the outer portion of the glass run body and an upper portion of the trim strip. The gap allows the trim strip to move excessively toward the inside of a cabin.
