TRAILER MOUNTED LOG LOADER
Embodiments for a trailer mounted log loader are described. The trailer mounted log loader includes an A-frame made of square beams which have a connection plate attached at one end forming an apex of the A-frame. A hollow connection adapter is positioned between and connected to the connection plates of the A-frame. An extendable boom arm is situated within the hollow connection adapter. The extendable boom arm has an attachment point at a distal end opposite from the hollow connection adapter where an attachable attachment is connectable to the extendable boom arm. A pair of pivot arms are connected to a base of the A-frame. The A-frame pivot arms are in turn pivotally connect to a pair of uprights . . . . The ability to remove the uprights from the support posts allows the trailer mounted log loader to be mounted to any trailer or truck bed or stored when not in use.

SELF-POWERED GRAPPLER ASSEMBLY
A grappler assembly having an assembly framework and a grappler device that is supported by the assembly framework. The grappler device has at least one pair of grappler arms that engages with a desired section of a tree to be removed. The grappler assembly incorporating its own independent power module for supplying hydraulic power to the grappler device and controlling operation of the at least one pair of grappler arms, and the power module is mounted solely to the assembly framework.
DETERMINING A CONDITION OF A STRUCTURAL PART OF A WORKING MACHINE
A condition of at least one structural part (11′, 11″) of a working machine (10) is determined by detecting (201) a force of a changing magnitude to a first structural part (11′) or a structural part connecting the first structural part (11) to the second structural part (11″), determining (203) a change in the position of the first structural part with respect to the second structural part as a function of the force detected, and determining (205) the condition on the basis of the change in the position of the first structural part with respect to the second structural part as a function of the force detected. At least a slope of the change in the magnitude of the force is detected.
TRACK ASSEMBLY AND A TRACK DRIVEN VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A TRACK ASSEMBLY
A track assembly (15) for a track-driven vehicle, whereby the track-carrying beam (15) is arranged to hold a front and a rear wheel (16), one of which is driving, a plurality of carrying wheels about which wheels a continuous track travels, the track-carrying beam (15) is elongated and terminated by a first and a second gable end. The track-carrying beam (15) comprises an integrated compartment (37) and an opening (36) in one (35) of said gables, whereby the compartment (37) communicates with the surroundings via said opening (36), and whereby the opening (36) is arranged to allow for insertion of a transmission device for driving of said driving wheel (16) via the opening (36) in the compartment (37).
TRACTION ASSIST APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A WORK MACHINE
A work machine extending in a fore-aft direction includes a frame, a ground-engaging mechanism, a boom assembly to the frame, and a traction assist apparatus. The ground-engaging mechanism is configured to support the frame on a surface. The traction assist apparatus is coupled to the boom assembly. The traction assist apparatus has an attachment point for securing a tether.
MANAGING LANDBASES AND MACHINE OPERATIONS PERFORMED THEREON
A method for management of a land base includes interfacing a machine or equipment to a computer running a geographical information system (GIS) application such that the computer is configured to monitor the operations performed by the equipment or machine on the land base and store the operations as map points, lines, or polygons on at least one data layer within the GIS application. The method further includes displaying the GIS application to the operator at the point and time of performing the operations.
Vehicle log hitch
A hitch attachment for dragging logs from a vehicle. The hitch attachment includes a base having a distal end and a proximal end. The proximal end of the base is configured to fit within a tow receiver of the vehicle. A vertical frame extends from the base in between the proximal end and the distal end. A log cradle is coupled to the distal end of the base. The log cradle includes a plurality of vertically extending teeth.
FORESTRY MACHINE
A forestry machine includes a ground propulsion apparatus, a chassis supported by the ground propulsion apparatus, a cab, an engine and a work implement. The chassis includes a front chassis portion and a rear chassis portion. The front chassis portion includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The rear chassis portion has a wood basket supported thereon. The cab is rotatably supported on the front chassis portion by a rotatable connection about a cab rotation axis to be selectively rotated 360 degrees. The engine is integrated into the front chassis portion. At least a part of the engine is disposed below an upper most surface of the upper portion. The work implement is movably attached to the cab. The work implement includes a boom movably attached to the cab, an arm movably attached to the boom, and a work tool attached to the arm.
GRAPPLE POSITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A system and method of positioning a grapple of a skidder based on ground conditions and felled timber characteristics, or other material characteristics, such as conduit characteristics for pipe, being moved by the skidder. The vehicle includes a level sensor to determine slope of the vehicle based on ground slope and a traction device to determine a slip condition of the vehicle. Level sensors can include a gyroscope, an accelerometer, or a pitch/roll/yaw sensor. The grapple assembly is automatically positioned based on the vehicle slope, the slip condition, and the weight and/or the length of the felled timber being collected by the grapple.
