Tree trimming apparatus and method
An apparatus and method for removing the tops of trees, the apparatus including a rotatable first boom configured for coupling to and extending vertically downward from an aircraft and a cutting assembly hingedly coupled to a bottom end portion of the first boom. The cutting assembly includes a housing containing a motor, the housing having an upper portion coupled to the bottom end portion of the first boom. A second boom extends from a lower portion of the housing and supports thereon a singular circular saw which is operatively coupled to the motor. The second boom is arranged at an angle of about 30 to about 55 relative to the first boom. This accomplished by including bend within the housing.

TREE TRIMMING WITH DRONE
The present invention relates to a cutting device (1) for fitting on an unmanned aerial vehicle (10) for the high-level pruning of vegetation in areas close to power distribution lines, which comprises at least one system for attachment (200) to the aerial vehicle (10) having a central beam (230), at least four arms (210) having connection points (12) to rods of the unmanned aerial vehicle, oriented toward motors of the aerial vehicle (10) for attachment to the aerial vehicle and a system for releasing (220) at least one cutting tool (300) whilst in use, and at least one cutting tool (300), made up of a plurality of saws each driven by a motor (310), a cutting rod (330) for attaching the plurality of saws and an automatic leveling system (320) for the cutting rod (330), which maintains said rod (330) in a horizontal position during the cutting process.
Apparatus for aerial tool configurations
A field-configurable apparatus for different aerial applications is provided. The field-configurable apparatus attaches to an aerial boom on a mobile carrier. The apparatus can perform rapid semi-precise cutting of vegetation. Additionally, the apparatus can perform more precise trimming of one or more areas (e.g., limbs) and optionally use a limb clamp to prevent cut limbs/vegetation from arbitrarily falling on objects below the cutting area. Still further, the apparatus can have a grapple or similar device attached to the end of the boom for use in relocating debris or for loading debris. Other industrial applications are also possible (e.g., commercial water blasting, deicing of planes, etc.). In each configuration, the apparatus comprises one or more rotatable or pivoting couplings to allow for rotation about one or more axis and therefore allow precise manipulation of an aerial tool assembly from an operator in the vehicle or on the ground.

SYSTEM FOR MULTI-AXIS SELF-CLIMBING TREE TRIMMER
A system for multi-axis self-climbing tree trimmer including a self-climbing platform, a motorized carrier, and a trimming portion. The trimming portion includes a base, an actuator with an extendable piston, one or more articulating arms having a curved configuration to receive a tree trunk or to form a central opening to substantially encircle a tree trunk. Each articulating arm includes one or more interchangeable cutting tools for tree trimming and one or more cut depth control elements for controlling the depth of engagement of the cutting tools. The base may include a wheel element to indicate pressure exerted by the actuator. The extendable piston is coupled to the articulating arms, wherein when the extendable piston extends, the articulating arms move to an open configuration, and when the extendable piston retracts, the articulating arms move to a closed configuration, and the articulating arms may move independently of each other.
Automatic Walking Garden Trimmer
The invention relates to an automatic walking garden trimmer which includes a power locomotive and a trimming device. The power locomotive is rotatably connected with a turntable support whose horizontal rotation is driven by a power device. The turntable support is hinged with a lower support arm and a base cylinder which drives the lower support arm to swing. The end of the lower support arm is hinged with at least two outstretched arms and an extension cylinder used to drive the outstretched arms to swing and adjust outstretching distance. The connecting seat is connected to a sphere. Two sets of trimming devices are arranged on the side of the sphere. The trimming device includes a spiral device and a trimming ring. The spiral device includes a spiral bracket and a sleeve arranged on the spiral bracket. The rotating blade of the trimming device of the present invention can be replaced. The operator can select a suitable blade according to the shape and size of the trimmed shoots, and operate the device to make the device have a wider use range with practicality. In the case of a damaged blade, a new blade can be replaced, saving maintenance time and enhancing work efficiency.
