Method for controlling a filling operation of a vehicular liquid storage system
A method for controlling a filling operation of a vehicular liquid storage system including a tank including a fill level limiting valve. The method includes: detecting start of a first filling event; measuring a first fill level of the tank; verifying whether the measured first fill level has reached a predetermined fill level; if the verifying is positive, starting a first timer for a first amount of time; upon expiry of the first timer, closing the fill level limiting valve.
CONTROLLER OF FUEL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A controller of a fuel system for a vehicle is provided in which heat is dissipated outside from a printed circuit board to cool the controller. The dissipated heat is utilized to maximize the efficiency of the purge operation using a canister by waste heat. The controller is integrated with an air filter for removing foreign substances from air to be suctioned into a canister, and is configured to realize heat exchange between air passing through the air filter and a motor driver.
Reserve fuel system
A reserve fuel tank retention and control (RTRC) module and a method of operating a vehicle including an engine and a main fuel tank containing a fuel, the method including mounting the RTRC module onto the vehicle; fluidly connecting the RTRC module to the engine and to the main fuel tank; actuating a valve of the RTRC module for a predetermined time to purge moisture in a fuel supply hose into the engine; and upon the main fuel tank becoming empty, actuating the valve to allow fuel from the reserve fuel tank to supply the engine.
VEHICLE AND FUEL SUPPLY MODULE
A vehicle is driven by energy generated from a drive unit supplied with gas fuel, and includes a fuel supply module that includes a fuel tank in which the gas fuel is stored, a regulator that is connected to the fuel tank and adjusts the gas fuel output from the fuel tank to predetermined pressure, a fuel output port through which the gas fuel adjusted by the regulator is output, and a support that supports devices including the fuel tank, the regulator, and the fuel output port, and includes an attachment portion detachably attached to the vehicle while supporting the devices.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a fuel tank in which fuel gas is stored, a cargo bed provided at a rear portion of the vehicle and exposed to the outside of the vehicle, and a connection portion that is connectable to a fuel filling device installed outside the vehicle and supplies the fuel gas supplied from the fuel filling device to the fuel tank. The connection portion is arranged further inward than an outer end in the width direction of the cargo bed. The connection portion includes a filling port into which the fuel filling device is inserted, and the filling port is directed rearward.
A system for checking the functionality of a pressure relief valve
A system including a cryogenic container for storing cryogenic fluid and a connection system having a connection line connected to the cryogenic container and ending in a pressure relief valve, and there is provided a check valve within the connection line, which is configured to prevent a flow of fluid in the direction of the cryogenic container, and the system further comprises a test line, which connects to the connection line between the check valve and the pressure relief valve and ends in a test connection for a test device for providing a pressurized test fluid, and there is provided a valve within the test line, which is configured to prevent a flow of fluid in the direction of the test connection and to enable a flow of fluid in the direction of the pressure relief valve in order check the functionality thereof.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a plurality of tanks storing gas in the tanks and arranged in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and each of the tanks includes: a pressure relief device configured to open when a temperature of the tank becomes a predetermined temperature or more; and a release part releasing the gas in the tank in a predetermined direction by the opening of the pressure relief device, wherein the release direction of the gas released from the release part of the front tank located at a frontward position among the plurality of tanks is defined to be a direction directly facing a space between the pressure relief devices of the rear tanks disposed more rearward than the front tank, and a ground.
