A valve assembly includes a housing having first and second body portions cooperating to enclose a cavity. The first body portion includes a cap having a nozzle that extends from the cap, and the nozzle defines an outlet. The first body portion includes a seat defining an orifice in fluid communication with the outlet and the cavity. A float is disposed inside the cavity. A seal is spaced from the seat when the float is in the initial position and the seal engages the seat when the float is in the displaced position. In certain configurations, the cap, the nozzle, and the seat are formed together as one piece. In certain configurations, a second side wall surrounds the float and extends across the window to obstruct direct fluid communication between the window and the float. A gap is unobstructed between a first side wall and the second side wall.

A casing 100 of fuel shutoff valve 10 includes a housing 120 having a partition part 122 with a communication hole 124, the partition part 122 dividing the inside of the casing into an upper space CU and a lower space CL, a check valve case 140 supporting a check valve structure 142, and a cutoff valve case 160 storing a float 162. The casing 100 includes a communication passage C10 connecting a space C16 storing the float 162 and a space C14 in the check valve case 140 and having a delivery opening 168 of the cutoff valve case, the communication hole 124, and a reception opening 146 of the check valve case. The reception opening 146 deviates relative to the delivery opening 168. The check valve case 140 includes an additional flow path part C142 allowing the circulation of fuel vapor, together with the communication hole.

The application relates to a fill level valve for a pressure equalization line of a fluid tank assembly, wherein the pressure equalization line is fluidically connected between a fluid tank and a filling line opening into the fluid tank, and wherein the fill level valve includes a connecting piece which can be arranged on the fluid tank. It is provided here that a dip tube, which can be arranged in the fluid tank, and which is fluidically connected to the connecting piece, originates from the connecting piece, wherein a flow resistance formed by a constricted flow cross section is provided in the dip tube. The application furthermore relates to a fluid tank assembly.

Fully-integrated, top-fill, pressureless flow-control module couplable to a pulsating pressurized fuel source
10851910 · 2020-12-01 ·

A fully-integrated, flow-control module for top-fill fuel tanks operates with a fuel line attached that supplies fuel under pulsating pressure. There are two bleed paths in the module, which open and close sequentially in response to the position of a fuel float within the module. In order for a main valve plunger, which controls fuel entry into the tank, to fully close, both bleed paths must be closed. A first bleed path closes first, followed by closure of the second. For the main valve plunger to fully open, both bleed paths must be open. The second bleed path opens first. Movement of the main valve plunger is controlled by both a biasing spring and pressure beneath the plunger. Pressure beneath the plunger builds up to a level sufficient for the biasing spring to fully close the plunger against a valve seat when both bleed paths are closed.

Filling device

A filling device includes a filling pipe to extend into a liquid container for fluidic connection to the liquid container, a filling head operatively connected to the filling pipe, a venting pipe to vent the liquid container, the venting pipe having an open venting pipe section at an end thereof, and an indicator member configured to visually indicate a filling condition of the liquid container. During a filling sequence of the liquid container in a condition in which the liquid container is not full of liquid, the indicator member is to be impinged upon by outflowing air in the venting pipe at a force such that the indicator member assumes a first recognizable condition.
