Multi-chamber container
The disclosure relates to a multi-chamber container made of thermoplastic plastic as a service-fluid container for a motor vehicle, which multi-chamber container comprises at least two chambers, which constitute separated volumes that are not in fluid connection with each other, at least not directly, and which are each designed to hold a different service fluid, wherein at least two surrounding walls of the chambers adjoin each other, the chambers are components of a continuous container body combination, the surrounding walls of at least two chambers that adjoin each other are connected to each other in a bonded manner by means of at least one material bridge or in a form-closed manner and/or by means of fasteners, and the connection is designed to independently release under the influence of deformation forces caused by impact such that the container body combination is divided into at least two separate container body parts or two container bodies under the influence of deformation forces caused by impact.
DUAL NOZZLE-RECEIVING ASSEMBLY
A nozzle-receiving assembly includes a housing including a fuel inlet that is configured to receive a first nozzle of a fuel dispenser in order to dispense fuel into a fuel fill pipe coupled to the fuel inlet. A door is moveably secured to the housing. The door is configured to be moved between an open position and a closed position. An additive inlet is secured to the door. The additive inlet is configured to receive a second nozzle of an additive dispenser to dispense additive into an additive conduit coupled to the additive inlet.
Fuel cap barrier kit
A fuel cap barrier kit is basically provided with a movable barrier and an attachment member. The movable barrier is dimensioned and structured to be attached to a vehicle body at a location in which the movable barrier is disposed in front of a fuel cap and is underneath a filler compartment door. The movable barrier is movable between an inlet accessible position in which the movable barrier permits user access to the fuel cap and an inlet blocking position in which the movable barrier is disposed in front of the fuel cap. The attachment member is configured to fixedly attach the movable barrier to the vehicle body.
LIQUID TANK WITH A PLASTIC SHELL
The present disclosure relates to a fluid tank for storing fluid for use in a motor vehicle. The fluid tank may include a fluid tank shell that defines a chamber of the fluid tank; a heating device in the chamber of the fluid tank and configured to heat the fluid in the fluid tank; and a plastic jacket that encloses at least a portion of the heating device.
System and Method for Lubricating a Cryogenic Pump
A cryogenic LNG fuel system is provided that includes a tank for storing LNG and a LNG fill system including a LNG inlet passage for directing a flow of LNG into the tank. A cryogenic pump is in fluid communication with the tank and includes a pumping element at least partially immersed in the LNG for directing the LNG out of the tank and a seal. A lubricant system is provided that includes a lubricant reservoir and a lubricant inlet passage in communication with the lubricant reservoir and the LNG inlet passage. The lubricant system is adapted to introduce the lubricant into the flow of LNG in the LNG inlet passage such that at least a portion of the lubricant is entrained in the LNG in the LNG inlet passage and carried into the tank.
Urea Solution Pump Module
Provided is a urea solution pump module including: a flange portion coupled to cover an opened mounting hole of a urea solution tank; a pump disposed near an upper surface of the flange portion; a filter formed to surround the pump, disposed to be spaced apart from the pump, and coupled to the flange portion; an internal heater disposed between the pump and the filter and coupled to the flange portion; and a first fin having one side connected to the internal heater and the other side disposed near the pump. If the urea solution received in the urea solution tank is frozen, the pump and the urea solution frozen around the pump may be quickly and efficiently thawed.
Additive safety and injection system
A safety and injection system for adding an additive to fuel in a fuel chamber, includes a portable additive source having a body, an additive chamber, a memory, a fuel inlet, and a fuel outlet. The system can also include a fuel inlet valve which is connected to the fuel chamber, and includes a connector for connecting to the fuel inlet; a fuel outlet valve which is connected to the fuel chamber and including a connector for connecting to the fuel outlet. The system can further include a platform having a memory reader/writer that reads the information in memory and is capable of writing information on memory, and on which the portable additive source is placed; and at least one control unit which is connected with the memory reader/writer, which includes a user interface device for receiving control information from the user, and which controls the operation of the safety and injection system.
